596 [Escape From Heaven]

The poem goes: It's hard to find a place in the world, and the stone walls are slippery. The clouds and thunder are endless, and the difficult and dangerous road is even more slippery.

This poem comes from the late poet Meng Yunqing's "The Road Is Difficult to Travel", which describes the difficult and dangerous roads in Bishan. There are seven poems in this series, showing the complex terrain of Yuzhou's 100,000 mountains to the world.

Yuzhou is located in the southwest of Daliang. In terms of area, it ranks second among the thirteen states, second only to Lingzhou in the north. However, it is not considered rich and prosperous, and it is probably in a lower-middle position within Daliang. The reason for this is,

The terrain in Yuzhou is complex, with endless mountains. The land suitable for farming only accounts for a small part of the area, and most of the population is concentrated in three plain areas.

Some people have said that if it is assumed that there are a thousand criminals in Daliang, there will be at least 700 hiding in Yuzhou.

Although this is just a joke, it can also reveal the unique and complex style here.

On the evening of March 9th, with a steady drizzle in the sky, a group of six men entered Pingshan County, Dongling Prefecture, Yuzhou.

Half an hour later, they arrived at the Cheng Mansion, the largest family in the city, and knocked on the corner door of the mansion.

After a while, the six people were led to a side hall, where waiting was an old man in his fifties.

They took off their raincoats to protect them from the rain. The young man at the head was handsome and had sharp features.

The old man's name is Cheng Guang, he is the head of the Cheng family and a well-known big businessman. His sons are now in charge of their own properties in various places in Daliang. After seeing the young man's appearance clearly, he first looked outside warily, and then said respectfully:

"Please be safe, Fourth Young Master."

The young man walked to the main seat and sat down, and said calmly: "I didn't expect you to be so polite to me when I am in such a mess now."

Cheng Guang asked doubtfully: "What do you mean, Master?"

The young man laughed at himself: "You Liang Kingdom spies were like crazy. They chased me from Kyoto to Yuzhou. We fought seven or eight times on the road. Only these five of my bodyguards died. Isn't that embarrassing enough?"

"

Cheng Guang looked panicked.

On the one hand, he doesn't understand why the other party fell into such a dangerous situation. Could it be that the whereabouts of the people in the south have been exposed? According to his understanding of this Fang family tiger, everything must be carefully considered, how could he fall to this point? On the other hand, he must have considered everything carefully.

Of course, he is worried about his own safety. If the crows from Taige follow the clues and find this place, then his crime of colluding with a foreign country will be exposed, and his home will be confiscated and his family will be exterminated.

The young man was Fang Yunhu. After he got off the passenger ship in Qishui that night, he boarded a cargo ship that had been arranged in the opposite direction. He disembarked at the end of Qishui and then walked diagonally across Yongzhou along the Hengduan Mountains. Although he took a long time to prepare

The substitute took Nanqin to see her off

His death delayed Pei Yue's discovery, but in the end he was spotted by the crows of Taishitai Pavilion, so he fled wildly toward the southwest. When he was in danger several times on the way, he relied on the manpower arranged in advance to fight with the elites of Taishitai Pavilion.

Finally, he escaped from his pursuers and entered Yuzhou smoothly.

Looking at Cheng Guang's frightened face, Fang Yunhu said calmly: "Don't worry, I'll leave right away. Those crows won't find out that I've been here."

Cheng Guang breathed a sigh of relief, and then asked with concern: "Master, what happened?"

Fang Yunhu briefly talked about the conspiracy against Gu Fan, then drank half a cup of hot tea and said slowly: "Although Gu Fan was not killed, the emperor would have to fight such a big battle near the capital of your Liang Kingdom.

He definitely doesn’t look good on his face, that’s why Silent Cloud’s disciples and grandsons are acting like crazy.”

Cheng Guang couldn't help but smile bitterly, thinking that this master was really not afraid of death. He was the only spy to be so bold as to cause trouble near the enemy's Kyoto.

He asked cautiously: "I wonder what I can do for you?"

Fang Yunhu said concisely and concisely: "Borrow your Cheng family's caravan to send us through Yongquan Pass."

In fact, Cheng Guang had already guessed the other party's intention. Hearing this, he said with a little embarrassment: "Sir, I'm not blabbering, but the inspection at Yongquan Pass is particularly strict. After all, it is the southern gateway to Yuzhou. It is risky to pass through here.

It’s very big. Why not go along the northern route to Luming Mountain? Although it will take some time, it’s better to go to Yongquan Pass and take the risk.”

Fang Yunhu looked at him with a half-smile.

His followers next to him had a bad attitude, and they all held the handles of knives at their waists.

Cheng Guang was horrified, and quickly waved his hands and said: "Master, calm down, I will immediately order someone to make arrangements."

Fang Yunhu smiled and said: "Very good. Don't worry, Mr. Cheng, your Cheng family's goods can flow smoothly in Dazhou, and those two secret trade routes will always be open to you. By the way, I heard that you have a son named Cheng Siyuan?"

"

Cheng Guang nodded respectfully and said: "Yes, he worked in Qibao Pavilion before, and was later implicated by Xu Song and imprisoned. Fortunately, his brother Siqing met the Marquis of Zhongshan in Lingzhou and gave him some benefits to save his life.

."

Fang Yunhu's heart moved, and then he waved his hand and said, "Go and make arrangements."

After Cheng Guang retreated, Fang Yunhu raised his hand and pressed his chest and began to cough.

One of the guards asked worriedly: "Sir, your injury is a bit serious, why don't you rest here for two days."

Fang Yunhu forcibly suppressed the smell of blood surging in his throat, shook his head and said: "We finally got rid of those crows and paid the price of dozens of lives. How can we delay here? As long as we can pass Yongquan Pass smoothly, there is Tiancang River to the south.

It’s not far from home.”

The reason why Cheng Guang's words aroused the murderous intention of these guards was because they suspected that this person saw that Fang Yunhu was seriously injured and deliberately asked him to walk on the difficult and difficult Luming Mountain Road. But Fang Yunhu was very calm and knew that this money-grubbing businessman was not that serious.

Sharp eyes.

Two days later, Fang Yunhu and his personal guards separated from the Cheng family's caravan and galloped southward.

Another day passed, and the Tiancang River was getting closer and closer, and it seemed that the mist on the river could be vaguely seen.

The sound of rapid horse hooves suddenly came from behind.

Fang Yunhu turned his head and looked around, only to see dozens of riders chasing after him rapidly, the distance between them was only a hundred feet.

"Master, hurry up, the crow is catching up with you!" the five personal guards said sternly, and then turned the horse's head without thinking, just to fight for his chance of survival.

Fang Yunhu didn't hesitate, raised the tip of the knife and slapped the horse's butt.

The five personal guards were at the end of their game. Facing dozens of elite spies from Taishitai Pavilion, they could only resist for a moment.

The Tiancang River was already in front of him, and Fang Yunhu knew that there was a small boat hidden somewhere by the river. As long as he could board the boat before being overtaken, he could completely throw off the pursuers behind him.

The pain in his chest and abdomen continued, and he suffered internal injuries. Although he had taken medicine, he would not recover for a while. Even so, he still gritted his teeth and held on, desperately looking for a chance to escape.

The sound of fighting behind him stopped suddenly, and the crows were getting closer and closer, and one could even hear their rapid breathing.

At this moment, the sound of sharp arrows piercing the air suddenly came from the front.

Fang Yunhu was startled, and just as he was about to crouch down to avoid it, he found the arrow flying past him. He turned around and saw that the crow closest to him was hit by an arrow in the face and fell directly from his horse to the ground.

The arrows continued one after another, and the number of pursuers behind Fang Yunhu became less and less.

A tall and stalwart figure appeared in Fang Yunhu's sight. He stood on a stone on the shore. Below him were two followers holding arrow pots. They drew the bow like a full moon, and the arrows shot like shooting stars. It was said that the arrows hit the target with perfect accuracy.

Looking at that familiar figure, Fang Yunhu shouted in surprise: "Second brother!"

The pursuers were finally repelled. Fang Yunhu ignored his injuries and jumped off his mount when he came near. He ran to the man in two or three steps and said easily: "If the second brother hadn't come, I might have died here today."

This sharp archer is Fang Xiexiao's second son, named Fang Yunsong.

He handed the long ox-horn bow to the soldiers, jumped down from the stone, looked Fang Yunhu up and down, and scolded slightly: "You took too many risks this time. Do you know how worried your mother is at home?"

Fang Yunhu smiled awkwardly and said with a complicated expression: "The war is about to start, and I want to do something for my father."

Fang Yunsong nodded and said: "Father is waiting for you at Chengbei Camp and wants to ask you about things in the north. Come on, I will take you back."

"Okay, thank you second brother."

"Thank you."

The two brothers boarded the boat waiting in the north of the river and meandered south.
