Chapter 6 The Old Lady Appears

"The most urgent task is to find the body first!" said the Taoist priest in a deep voice.

I rolled my eyes and said the same thing as I didn't say it. Everyone knows that it is urgent to find the body, otherwise what should I ask you to do? We want to ask how to find the body.

"When the old lady was dying, what obsessions do she have? Or did she have any thoughts?" The old Taoist asked with a wave of dust.

I glanced at my second uncle. He might have known what grandma Seventh had before her death.

"This... the old lady wanted to say something to Wu Cheng before she died!" said the second uncle.

I widened my eyes and looked at my uncle in disbelief. I wanted to see me? How could it be? Didn’t she just want to find a mountain maker? Then why do you have to see me? My biological son has disappeared, just to say a few words to me?

It's hard for me to believe, or even dare not imagine.

"Well, at the third update tonight, you can wait next to the old lady's tomb and let the young man wait. Perhaps the old lady will appear! As soon as she appears, I will naturally have a way to deal with her!" The old lady said confidently.

My face changed, "This is not a joke!"

"I am sure!" The old Taoist nodded and turned around and walked out of the valley.

I was a little shocked, and hurriedly walked forward a few steps and grabbed Wu Sanya, "Uncle San, this cannot be done like this!"

Wu Sanya stared at me with a gentle look, "Wu Cheng, as long as this matter is done, I will promise you everything in the future!"

"Uncle San, this is not something that cannot be done, this..." I opened my mouth.

The second uncle also came up, "Wucheng, for our village, what can you do if you help the third yamen with this help? That's a zombie!"

I stood there blankly, not knowing what to say. These things seemed to squeeze towards me little by little. First, the question of the pioneer, and then the corpse of the third update was heard, but now it has become bait. I always feel that the fog in front of me has not dissipated at all, but has become bigger and bigger.

Seeing everyone leaving, I quickly took steps and rushed towards the village in the distance.

Uncle Chen is now my only life-saving straw. If I could hold Uncle Chen, maybe there would be some more tonight.

As soon as I rushed into the village, I saw a fool smile at me, unbuttoned his belt, and threw it towards me.

"The sunset and the red clouds fly in the west, and the soldiers are shooting and returning to the camp..."

I was too lazy to pay attention to him, so I bypassed the fool and rushed into Uncle Chen's house.

As soon as I entered Uncle Chen’s house, I felt that the thick smoke was about to choke my nose.

Uncle Chen sat on the kang, with cigarette rolls in his hands, and his turbid eyes almost turned white.

"Uncle Chen, they are going to catch the corpse tonight and let me be used as bait!" I said hurriedly.

Uncle Chen stared at me, his eyes flashing.

"What's wrong? What's wrong with you?" I was a little stunned.

Uncle Chen's eyes did not change much, but just sighed softly and asked in a deep voice: "Wu Cheng, tell me the truth, does your seventh Grandma's death have anything to do with you?"

"What are you talking about?" I stared at Uncle Chen blankly, unable to believe his words. How could Grandma Qi's death have something to do with me?

"If the death of your grandmother Qi has something to do with the people closest to you, what should you do?" Uncle Chen said in a low voice.

"What did you say?" I was a little stunned.

Uncle Chen looked at me with a torch, without saying a word.

"You said... Grandma Qi's death has something to do with my mother?" I asked incredible.

Uncle Chen nodded and grabbed his hair with both hands, "I heard today that your seventh grandmother was a disease that was discovered seven days ago, and she was like a mountain of illness. Once she was sick, she was bedridden! Seven days ago, only your mother had been to her house..."

"This is impossible!" I almost subconsciously retorted.

Uncle Chen sighed, "I hope it is impossible, too! But some things are the truth! I don't know if your mother has anything to do with your seventh grandma's death, but your mother definitely knows some secrets!"

I stood there, not knowing what to do. Does my mom know something? If that's true, why didn't she say it?

"I'll go back and ask now!" I turned around.

"No!" Uncle Chen hurriedly spoke and grabbed my arm.

I turned around and looked at him with a look of surprise on my face.

Uncle Chen's eyes softened, and the corners of his mouth even twitched, "Wu Cheng, did your father say something to you when he was leaving?"

I widened my eyes and almost exclaimed. My dad said something before leaving? It was indeed said, but how did Uncle Chen know?

"Your father once told you mother and son that if you really encounter something that cannot be solved, you will go to the mass grave ten miles away..." Uncle Chen's eyes became brighter and brighter.

My heart trembled, "Uncle Chen, how do you know?"

"Of course it was your father who told me! Wu Cheng, listen, although it is not a problem that cannot be solved now, your father can tell me that sentence, which means that I definitely have no heart to hurt you. If you listen to me, don't ask your mother about anything today and pretend not to know anything!" Uncle Chen said.

"What should I do?" I was a little confused.

Uncle Chen said, "You go back first, I will help you think of a solution tonight. As for the bait, you just treat it as if you don't know it and don't need to pay attention to it!"

"Oh!" I nodded and walked out of Uncle Chen's house in a daze. The reason for this was not because my mind was immature, but because what I heard today was so shocked. My mother was actually related to the death of Grandma Seven? And she also knew some secrets?

Over the years, we, mother and son, have depended on each other for life. I absolutely do not believe that my mother would do anything that is harmful to nature. But the steps she walked last night, and even her actions when she took a step, seemed to betray this rural woman.

I went home in a daze, entered the house in a daze, and then plunged into the bed in a daze.

I don’t know how this day passed, but the shadows of Grandma Qi and my mother kept echoing in my mind. Wu Sanya said that Grandma Qi was wronged and had some problems with her death. If I really did the third update and heard that Grandma Qi’s death had something to do with my mother, what should I do?

The night came as promised, and there were a few barking sounds outside.

I looked up and looked out the window, wondering if Uncle Chen would think of any way tonight.

"Wucheng, it's time to eat!" My mother's voice came.

I climbed out of bed with some hesitation and saw my mother bringing the food to the table, then bent down to wash my hands.

During the whole meal, I wanted to speak to my mother several times, but I didn't know what to say. My mother didn't seem to see my ugly face, and she was holding the dishes, tidying up the table, and even returned to the room and turned off the lights.

I was lying in bed, not knowing what would happen tonight, but I always felt that something was about to happen.

The night became darker. What surprised me was that Wu Sanya and the Taoist priest didn't come. Could it be that they were not going to catch the body? Or was the words of Uncle Chen really effective. They are now feeling conscientious and did not come to make things difficult for me?

The more I think about it, the more I feel a little guilty, because the big things in the village will never delay for one person. The probability of this happening is very low. Even if Wu Sanya and the Taoist priest don’t come, should my second uncle come over and disturb me?

A dazed in my mind, but suddenly a light of inspiration flashed, so that the sweat on my forehead slid down instantly.

This is not what I imagined, but it was cheated!

I jumped up and hurriedly turned on the lights. The night outside the window seemed to be deeper and more strange.

Wu Sanya and the Taoist priest did not discover his conscience at all, but they didn't need me to go to the cemetery. They just needed me to be at home, so Grandma Qi would come to me. They have not appeared yet, they must have been hiding around, and they were afraid of being beaten to alarm me, the snake.

what to do?

My heartbeats accelerated, and I hurriedly opened the cabinet and touched out the mountain shovel inside. The mountain shovel is said to have the power of unpredictable gods and ghosts, and I don’t know if it is true. I touched the mountain shovel, then found a set of black clothes, and found the ragged ink dou from the room. As for cinnabar, I really didn’t find it, so I endured the pain and separated my palms.

The blood suddenly fell down. After I used the ink thread to invade the blood, I surrounded it. This ink dou was originally warding off evil spirits. With my boy blood, even if it was a little insufficient, it would not be impossible to resist it for a while, right?

Thinking of this in my heart, I closed the door bit by bit, and felt the cold wind outside suddenly become much louder. The gate of our house was flashing and creaking, opening it little by little.

I widened my eyes and took two or three steps back. I saw a shadow reaching in from outside the door. The disheveled hair was exactly the seventh Grandma I saw outside the valley yesterday.

At this moment, I wanted to curse myself. Wu Sanya and the Taoist priest were all bastards. They said that they would guard the cemetery and Grandma Qi would appear. It was just to numb me, just to prevent me from running away. Otherwise, I might have been to the county today and even returned to school.

The shadow extended in little by little, and then a swollen cheek. On the cheek, the eye sockets had collapsed, and the corners of the mouth even drooped, revealing the white teeth inside.

I held the mountain shovel tightly and saw Grandma Qi walk into the yard, watching her through the crack in the door, and smile strangely at me.
