A world where only dark cuisine exists

Wen Jiu and his team are not the only ones who are asked to run for training. There are at least thousands of students in the college running at the same time.

Wen Jiu slowly followed the crowd, thanks to the escape ability she had developed by picking up trash. At least she didn't feel particularly uncomfortable during the first five laps.

After a quick lap, fewer and fewer students were able to run, and many began to slow down or even walk.

It was already the tenth lap, and Wen Jiu also began to feel that her physical strength was exhausted, but she still maintained her previous speed and moved forward at a steady pace.

By the fifteenth lap, sweat was dripping from Wen Jiu's forehead, and the clothes on her back were already wet with sweat and stuck to her skin.

And she just gritted her teeth and jogged forward step by step. Even though sweat flowed down her eyebrows and into the corners of her eyes, she tried hard to keep her eyes open and move forward.

Until the back, she felt that her legs were as heavy as lead.

If someone said anything now, she would fall to the ground immediately.

Finally reaching the nineteenth lap, she was already a little dizzy, but there were still about thirty people like her who were holding on and running forward.

It didn’t take long.

Wen Jiu felt that his eyes were gradually becoming blurry, and his legs were moving stiffly like a machine.

Just when she was almost unable to hold on anymore, there was an inexplicable strength in her body, making her limbs feel a lot lighter, as if she had washed away her fatigue in a hot spring.

Seeing each student reach the finish line, she didn't have time to think about anything, she just gritted her teeth and picked up the speed and ran forward.

Finally, she ended the physical training suddenly arranged by the teacher.

The teacher casually gave her a nutrient solution to restore her strength, and also told her that she could go to the cafeteria for lunch now.

The other party also kindly told her that she could get free fried chicken in the cafeteria today, but it was only limited and she had to get it quickly.

She was so hungry that she couldn't stand it any longer, so after drinking the nutrient solution, she quickly walked towards the cafeteria.

Well...

She asked an enthusiastic classmate about the location of the cafeteria, otherwise she would not have known where the cafeteria was.

So after thanking her, she hurriedly walked to the cafeteria.

Fortunately, it was not far from the canteen, and she arrived at the canteen smoothly not long after.

When someone is detected, the glass door slides open to both sides silently.

It happened to be noon now, and the canteen was crowded. Everyone was queuing in front of the windows in an orderly manner, waiting for their meals.

This actually gave Wen Jiu a familiar feeling. When she was sent to study by her master, she would queue up in the cafeteria to get food every time.

Wen Jiu quickly found one of the many windows where she could receive limited-edition free fried chicken, so she took the tray from the shelf next to her, walked to the queue and started queuing up.

The thought of eating delicious fried chicken right away made Wen Jiu feel very happy.

The students in front left one by one with their plates, and before leaving, they were given a square stamp by the person in charge of handing out fried chicken.

It looks quite like pork chop.

Wen Jiuzheng was lost in thought, and it was her turn to receive the fried chicken.

She walked to the transparent window and discovered that the staff inside were not the aunts and uncles in the cafeteria, but students wearing school uniforms like her.

The only difference is that the people inside are wearing masks and aprons.

But Wen Jiu didn't ask too much. When it was her turn, she handed over the tray. After looking at it, the person inside quickly placed a piece of fried chicken tightly wrapped in tin foil on her tray.

After receiving the fried chicken, Wen Jiu quickly found an empty seat and sat down, gearing up to have a big meal.

She happily peeled off the tin foil, but there was no golden fried chicken inside as she had imagined.

Not only was the fried chicken half yellow and half black, it actually had a few chicken feathers on it.

Wen Jiu's smiling face suddenly fell. She pulled off a chicken leg and looked at it.

What kind of skill does it take to achieve the point where the outside is burnt and the inside is still bleeding?

And the fishy smell has not been removed. You don’t even need to taste it. You can smell a pungent smell even if you smell it for a long time.

Is this a scam? What kind of fried chicken is this?

Wen Jiu originally wanted to go to the canteen staff to argue, but she glanced around and found that the food on their trays could not be called food.

Blue stir-fried vegetables, meat that has been boiled into puree, food that is so burnt that the original shape cannot be seen, and rice that looks like porridge but turns out to be too much water.

For Wen Jiu, these things are hard to swallow just by looking at them. But these students eat without blinking, as if they are used to it.

Wouldn't the cafeteria only sell these dark dishes? Wen Jiu suddenly panicked. As a foodie, she was extremely scared now.

She went to each window and took a look with trepidation. She didn't know that she had something to look forward to. It was only after taking a look that she realized.

Is this a world where only dark cuisine exists?

Wen Jiu felt that her mood was complicated, and she fell into a daze after sitting back down.

"Are you Wen Jiu?"

Wen Jiu, who was in a daze, was suddenly tapped on the shoulder. She looked back and saw a thin young man staring at her.

"Are you Wen Jiu?"

Li Shanyan asked again, with the word impatient written all over his face.

Wen Jiu looked at him and nodded slightly.

"Come with me, you owe the tuition, right? Teacher Yu arranged for you to work in our cafeteria to pay off your debt." Li Shanyan put his hands in his pockets and glanced at Wen Jiu.

Wen thought for a moment, but she didn't know who Teacher Yu was, so she asked: "Who is Teacher Yu?"

"Yu Ruman, the very beautiful one." Li Shanyan didn't bother to explain too much. After confirming that he was a good person, he turned and walked towards a silver iron door.

Wen Jiuxian stood up and followed him towards the iron gate, while quickly analyzing in his mind.

The very beautiful teacher must be the female teacher who helped her solve the registration problem a few days ago. She was asked to work part-time to pay off her debts. It must be that the tuition problem has not been resolved, so she is asked to work-study.

Wen Jiu followed Li Shanyan into the iron gate and walked all the way into an office.
