Chapter 77: Wusuo Lanruo

"Where is it, why didn't I see it?" Wusheng watched carefully for a while, but he saw nothing except weeds and rocks.

"It's not on the ground, it's in the soil, right in that direction." The monkey pointed to a place.

After the monkey explained in detail, Wusheng realized that the monster was a human from the outside, but it was tall and big, nearly two people tall, with a blue face, and wearing a armored suit. It seemed that he didn't like the sun very much. He walked like flying. When he walked to this place, he suddenly crawled into the ground and disappeared.

"Crawl into the ground, escape from the earth?" Wusheng frowned slightly after hearing this.

"Let's go in and take a look." Wusheng thought for a while.

Then they slowly walked towards the location at the foot of the mountain. This location was on the back of the mountain, surrounded by peaks, and there was no sunshine all day long. The wind here was very strong, and the closer it was to that place, the colder it felt.

"Wusheng, it's so cold here!" the monkey shivered for a few seconds.

After getting closer, Wusheng discovered that no grass grows within a certain range of the place where you are watching from a distance, and there is frost on the stones.

"Is it because he likes such an environment?" Wusheng stood there for a long time, remembered this position in his heart, and then turned around and left with the monkey.

When he went back, he asked the monkey to arrange for his monkeys to stare here. If he found out that something was wrong, he immediately went to Lanruo Temple to notify him.

"Remember, I must have a look at it."

This monster with no idea of its origin is also a big threat.

"Don't worry." The Great Sage responded.

The dragon in the Black Dragon Pond had not yet figured out whether it was a friend or an enemy, and another one appeared in the mountain. The abbot of the temple was closed at this time. Why was it so coincidental? So many things were squeezed together!

"Great Sage." Wusheng called out to the monkey who was about to leave.

"What else?" the monkey stopped and turned around after hearing this.

"Does that mountain fang on Heishan Baizhang Cliff go down the mountain on weekdays?" Wusheng said.

"I haven't heard of it going down the mountain and guarding the treasure of black Ganoderma lucidum. How could it go down the mountain? After leaving the cave, the black Ganoderma lucidum might be stolen by other wild beasts that have opened their minds in an instant." The monkey said.

"That's right." Wusheng nodded after hearing this.

He had considered a way to ask Shan Liao, who had been practicing on the Black Mountain for three hundred years, to go down the mountain to help. Although Shan Liao once said that his cultivation was far inferior to the dragon in the Black Dragon Pool, Wusheng felt that there was also a self-worthiness in his words.

If the dragon in the Black Dragon Pond really has too much cultivation than it, why don’t it snatch the black Ganoderma lucidum? The Black Mountain and the Black Dragon Pond gather together are not thousands of mountains and rivers. The dragon has practiced for hundreds of years. Logically speaking, it should have some understanding of the genius treasures like Black Ganoderma lucidum. After all, all the beasts on Jinding Mountain that have turned on Ganoderma lucidum know. The reason why they don’t go is either that the black Ganoderma lucidum has little benefit to its practice, or that the mountain fang is not so easy to deal with, which is obvious that the possibility of the latter is greater.

However, it is indeed difficult to help with such a treasure.

"There's nothing else, be careful about everything."

"I'm leaving, I'll bring you some good things next time." said the monkey.

Wusheng just smiled when he heard this.

In Lanruo Temple, Monk Kongxu was in the main hall. The Buddha sat down and stayed for three days. The dripping water had not entered. On the fourth day, when he came out of the main hall, he looked haggard and unsteady, as if he had been seriously ill.

"Master." Wusheng immediately ran forward and supported him after seeing him not far away.

"Help me back to the meditation room." Humpty, energy, but powerless.

Wusheng helped him back to the meditation room. On the way, he met Senior Brother Wudou who was practicing hard and asked him to help cook some porridge. Monk Wudou gently put the thousand-pound stone pier next to it, turned around and went to the kitchen.

Back in the Zen room, lying empty on the bed, breathing unstable.

"Master, do you feel uncomfortable somewhere?" Wusheng said.

Most people can't stand it if they don't eat or drink these three days.

"It's nothing serious, I'm just tired, hungry and sleepy." Kongxu said.

"Why are you doing this?" Wusheng said. "The Buddha may not be able to feel your piety."

"What if he happened to see it?" Kongxu smiled, "I'm asking for peace of mind."

Wusheng poured him some hot water to drink. After a while, Wudou brought a bowl of steaming porridge into the Zen room.

"Uncle Master, drink porridge."

Wusheng helped Kongxu up, leaned on the back of the bed, and then fed him with a spoon to drink porridge.

"Wuqi's craftsmanship is getting better and better." Kongxu took a few sips of porridge and exclaimed.

Wu Kui grinned after hearing this.

"Thank you for your hard work, uncle."

"It's not hard to say, I can only do this for the time being." Monk Kongxu said.

"Wusheng, there is nothing unusual outside the temple, right?"

"Not yet." Wusheng Dao.

He looked at Kongxu and did not tell him about the Green-faced monster. He just took care of some things first.

After eating half of a bowl of porridge, Wusheng refused to let him eat it again. After being hungry for three days, his body would not be able to bear it if he ate too much at once.

"You go to bed for a while. I'm outside the door and call me if you have something to do." Wusheng said.

"Don't just guard me, I'm fine." Kongxu said.

That's the case, but after Wusheng came out of the Zen room, he signaled Senior Brother Wudou to go and do it first. He stayed outside by himself until he heard the familiar even snoring sounds from the room before leaving with confidence.

Kongxu slept for a whole day until it was dark. Wusheng asked him to get up. After dinner, the three of them went to the hall together to recite scriptures and pray for blessings for the abbot.

Whether this chanting of scriptures can pray for blessings is also convinced in Wusheng's heart that as Hunter said, what he seeks is peace of mind.

After coming out of the main hall, Wusheng went to practice under the Bodhi tree. In the sky, the waning moon was covered by clouds, with only a corner exposed, and the moonlight was also faint.

The night is long. The wind at night is the biting cold.

Wusheng stood under the tree, and the monk's robe was floating. Until late at night, when he was about to return to the meditation room, he felt something and looked up at the sky. The clouds completely covered the moon, without a trace of light, no moon or stars.

It was pitch black in the sky, and so on the earth.

The mountains and fields are quiet, and the orchids are silent.

Wusheng returned to the Zen room alone.

The next morning, there was a huge fog on Jinding Mountain, and the eyes were only ten steps away. Lanruo Temple was also shrouded in heavy fog.

Looking down from the mountain, the entire Jinding Mountain is hidden in the heavy fog.

In the village at the foot of the mountain, early-waking villagers were surprised to see the heavy fog on the mountain.

"What a huge fog!"

"Yes, I haven't seen such heavy fog in a long time."

"Sure enough, it's foggy again!" Someone soon reacted.
