Chapter 79, the beginning of the public auction

Chapter 79, Public Disk Dark Mark Begins

On October 5, the weather was clear and there was a breeze. The sky in Ruili was blue and blue, without a trace of clouds, and the sun shone down without any obstacles. The human body felt not very hot, and the weather was very good.

Chu Nan and the four of them were in a good mood. Today, the Ruili jade wool material public auction is about to be officially launched. The Jinyu Family, led by Ye Ziqian and Chu Nan, is a regular customer and a major customer in the jade market. Naturally, it has long been invited by the competition organizing committee and has issued a bidder number for the Jinyu Family.

Ye Ziqian had already obtained a lot of bidding orders when she arrived in Ruili. The purpose of bidding orders is to use the jade wool materials you like when looking at the goods, you can write down the number and price of the wool materials in advance to prepare for the official bid opening on October 5th.

There are two main ways to bid for public auctions: the first is a secret bid, that is, the bidder fills in the number issued by the organizing committee to the bidder, the name of the bidder, the bidder's name, the bidder's number and the bidding price, and puts it into the standard box marked with several bidding items to bid for the jadeite wool material corresponding to the number. Because the bidders do not know the bidding items and bidding prices of each other, it is called "dark bid". When the bid is opened, the winning bidder and bidding price are publicly announced according to the bidding number, and the higher ones will win.

Compared with the secret bid, the second method is to open bidding, that is, on-site auction. All bidders are concentrated in the trading hall. Each time the public trading staff announces a bid number, the bidder will bid on the spot. Whoever presents the highest bidding price will win the bid.

However, there are some differences between the auction of jadeite wool public auctions and other auctions:

First, the public market only publicizes the jadeite materials that are prepared to be traded on the market, and there is no need to identify or identify the items. Other auctions must be graded and identified by experts. Only items that have reached a certain level or have a certain value can become auction items;

Second, the price of public goods is only negotiated by industry insiders or the market, while the price of auction items is negotiated by experts in scientific evaluation;

Third, the public market operates entirely based on market laws, and the auction must be organized and operated by a qualified auction agency and an auctioneer.

From these three points, the risk of public auction is greater, because the bidding items will not be identified and identified, and it depends entirely on the bidder's own eyesight. If the jadeite raw material obtained by bidding is cut, you will be lucky if it is cut down or even worthless. That has nothing to do with the organizing committee.

Of course, there are not many jadeite wool materials that can truly reach the auction level. Each time the jadeite wool materials are used for public auctions, the dark marks account for more than four-fifths, while the explicit marks are less than one-fifth. Compared with the explicit marks that fight to the death and are bleeding from the head, the secret marks show the technical content of the bidders.

The shortest public auction time is five to seven days, and the maximum is about twelve to fourteen days. The public auction time of this Ruili is expected to be about ten days. Excluding the time of viewing, the remaining bid opening time is about seven days. During these seven days, bidding will be started in time periods from the dark bidding, and one time period is half a day. For example, on the morning of October 5, the bidding for the first time period will begin.

Although Chu Nan got the bid form early, he was not in a hurry to fill in the price. He just asked Ye Ziqian to record it with a small notebook, and was preparing to observe the bidder's price before the formal bid and make plans, so as not to give too much more than others, that would be unprofitable!

When we arrived at the bidding site, the first batch of jade wool materials for dark bidding were already placed on the site, with dozens of pieces of jade wool materials. The numbers of these dozens of jade wool materials were printed on the box of the dark bidding box. The bidding orders for these dozens of jade wool materials were put into this bidding box, so bidders would not know the wool materials they were bidding on, let alone the prices they were bidding on.

After a period of secondary inspection, the host spoke: "Dear bidders, if there are any jadeite materials you like in this batch, please fill out the bid form and then put it into the bid box. OK, start bidding now."

As soon as the host finished speaking, several bidders immediately came forward with the bidding form they had already filled out. Some had only one bidding form in their hands, while others had several. Although they all folded the bidding form in half to prevent other bidders from seeing it, Chu Nan glanced at the eyes and immediately saw the number of items they were bidding for and the bidding issued.

Within ten minutes, hundreds of people came forward to vote. Chu Nan was a little troublesome when he scanned. He felt a little moved and no longer scanned them all. He just needed to lock the numbers of the wool materials he was optimistic about. As long as the numbers of these wool materials were on the bid form, he would immediately find it and record the other party's bid.

More than ten minutes later, the bidders who were interested in this batch of wool materials basically voted. Chu Nan asked Ye Ziqian to fill in the price on several bid forms and then go on stage to vote.

After Ye Ziqian finished bidding, the host said, "Is there any bidder who wants to bid, but hasn't voted yet?" The host asked three times in a row, and no one came forward to vote, no one spoke or signaled to wait. The host immediately announced that the bidding session of this period was over, that is, no bidding was accepted during this period.

Immediately afterwards, the staff of the organizing committee took out the bids on the spot, began to distinguish them according to the number, and finally determined the highest bid for each bid.

"Now, I announce," after a period of verification, the result finally came out. The host began to publicly announce according to the bidding number: "Bid No. 0098, winner: Li Yongfu, winning price: 180,000 yuan;Bid No. 0112, winner: Ding Lei, winning price: 280,000 yuan...Bid No. 0128, winner: Ye Ziqian, winning price: 81,000 yuan...Bid No. 0155, winner: Ye Ziqian, winning price: 201,000 yuan...Bid No. 0216, winner: Ye Ziqian, winning price: 151,000 yuan...Bid No. 0288, winner: Ye Ziqian, winning price: 481,000 yuan..."

As Chu Nan expected, all the four pieces of wool that he was interested in fell into his hands, and the price of each piece was only 1,000 yuan higher than the second highest bid price. A few bidders saw this price and their first reaction was that there was insider information, but Chu Nan didn't care what others thought. If he was not convinced, go to the organizing committee. Whether there was any insider information had the final say...
