353 - Ambition

A person with a personality like Wayne, who has faced crazy media discussions some time ago, did not make him sad because of all kinds of smears. He still has a lot of work to be busy with. For the huge movie plan to be implemented in the future, it is now at most a small start.

This year is his sixth year in Hollywood. After years of continuous successful accumulation, he has gained wealth that others cannot earn in their entire lives, and has also obtained top rights and treatments in the circle.

The foundation laid over the years has fully given him the freedom to realize his ideals. He will no longer be able to show his copy everywhere, but only want to issue a contract, and there will be no more one day when he is given up because of the director's contract.

When Wayne was very young, he hoped that he could become a police uncle. After graduating from college, he became an impulse as a movie projectionist because of a movie "Cinema of Heaven". Faced with the increasing pressure of life in Beijing, he chose to escape reality and immerse himself in the world of movies every day.

After being sent to the world here by a sudden serious illness, he felt that God gave him a chance to restart and arranged a very happy family. It was like hinting at him that as long as you study hard and strive hard and move forward for your ideal goals, you will not have any worries.

So he has lived like a child since elementary school. He has been studying for more than ten years with self-discipline that adults do not have.

After entering university, facing the discomfort of most teachers and professors, he always believed that his choice was right. Those people would eventually be impressed by the achievements he achieved.

He took the million dollars he received from his father and saved up a small workshop-style crew, taking his first step with hope, and studying in actual combat while filming.

When the filming and production were completed, a slight change occurred in his heart. It seemed that after so many years of hard study, he would wait to take the copy to the St. Denis Film Festival and then reap the expected success.

Then at the St. Denis Film Festival, he was slapped twice by reality and returned to Los Angeles in shame with the copy of the movie.

After the movie was finally released by Twentieth Century Fox, Wayne felt that he had obtained a Hollywood pass. However, no matter how good the first movie was, Twentieth Century Fox did not give him the trust he deserved.

When he learned that everything he had gained was the support from his parents, his heart changed again, and he had a thorough understanding of the reality, which made him particularly cherish the Hollywood ticket in his hand.

After that, Wayne became a workaholic, producing four hugely successful films for four consecutive years, and embarked on a path that no one else could imitate.

Until now, when the film "Batman: The Moment of War" was officially removed, he not only received the top 20+20 treatment in the circle in this project, but also officially established his position as the pioneer of superhero movies. Most people will only remember Wayne Greenberg's Batman and selectively ignored Tim Burton.

No matter how many factors are cheating in the great success he has achieved, this ultimately gives him greater ambition and enterprising spirit.

In 1975, when Steven Spielberg directed "Jaws", he must have never thought that the film would win a box office of 470 million US dollars worldwide.

In 1971, when George Lucas directed the first film "THX-1138", with the assistance of Francis Ford Coppola, he would never have expected that he would produce a film called "Star Wars", and he would not have expected that this would become the memory of the times of countless people in North America until it became a cultural symbol.

These people have worked hard for a long time, and then from success again and again, as their abilities become stronger, their goals gradually become wider and eventually become masters that cannot be avoided in the history of film.

As for Wayne, although he has always cheated on his past life memories, he is actually going through this process.

When filming "Happy Death Day", he himself would not have thought that he could gain a foothold in the circle so quickly. Even when he was eager for quick success and instant benefits, he could not be sure whether this film with extremely powerful incitement could adapt to this era.

Every time he succeeds, he adjusts his goals. When Batman's first movie was completely accepted by movie fans and opened up the superhero movie genre in North America, his ambitions continued to expand to the maximum.

In the golden age of Hollywood, Francis Ford Coppola, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Hitchcock and other great directors who will remember the history of film were born.

Then he thought that twenty years later, when people talked about Hollywood after the 1990s, there was a director who was also unavoidable and had an alternative style that drew another golden age of films. His ambition was so great that he wanted to be deeply engraved in film history like the great directors above.

So, all kinds of dirty water can't distract him from the rumors now. Wayne understood very well that only by constantly making successful videos is the best fight back to those people's hopes fail, and it is also the best way to move forward towards the huge movie plan.

At this time, the crew once again moved the shooting location and came to the rental building. The rooms here were arranged together by the set group and the prop group to look like an office.

Brad Pitt sat on a chair, cut his hair and wore a suit. The scene he was filming is the scene where Bill, who had just left the police academy and wanted to enter the police station.

Wayne sat behind the monitor and watched the three people perform. This is one of the few remaining scenes in "The Walker" and is a long shot.

Perhaps all the difficult scenes of the performance were put in front of the filming, and the upcoming holidays made the male protagonist relax a little. When there were only a few literary scenes, frequent ng.

After being stopped for five consecutive times, Brad Pitt finally adjusted his condition in the face of the director's increasingly tense expression.

Wayne is different from the director he has worked with before. He doesn't want David Finch to show off like that. Even if the actors perform poorly or the staff make low-level mistakes, he has never seen him lose his temper randomly.

However, the director who has always had a cold face puts a lot of pressure on people.

"Your family has something to do with the gangsters in South Boston, right? Through your father? Tell us about your uncle Jessie."

Facing his boss's alternative question, Brad Pitt paused and subconsciously reached out to tidy up the tie around his neck. "He is George Masha's subordinate..."

"He is just a third-rate accountant, and he manages a small bar in Somerville." The boss put his hands on his hips and directly interrupted his narrative. "He was killed in 1993, and we found his body in the airport."

"That's right."

"I still remember his funeral. That's very good. The coffin is covered, right?"

"That's right." Brad Pitt crossed his hands and looked at the other party and answered again.

"Tell everyone that you beat the teacher with a chair. Before you were expelled, your uncle died like that. I have a question, how bad are you?"

Faced with the uninterrupted questioning, Brad Pitt said nothing, but stared at the other person with anger.

"Ok, cut, this one is fine!"

The director's voice finally came from the loudspeaker, and the staff watching around also gave the three of them a scattered applause.

After confirming that this shot is fine, Wayne put a tick on the last page of the notebook where he recorded the shooting plan.

The staff on the scene are busy cleaning up. After more than two consecutive months of work, most people are tired of the crew environment and want to end their semi-closed life in this city as soon as possible.

"Director Greenberg." Brad Pitt walked over and leaned against the table while wiping his face with a towel. "I heard you're going to rush back to Los Angeles, too?"

Basically, his scenes have ended, and the applause just now is also a congratulations to him for completing his work.

"Hmm." Wayne took his eyes off the notebook and looked at the male protagonist with a relaxed look. "Yes, Gilmore will stay here for two more days for the remaining cutscenes and some fragmented scenery. There are some activities on Warner Bros., so I have to rush back to participate. Is there anything?"

Brad Pitt put down the towel. "I just want to say thank you to you for giving me this character."

This time I spent more than two months in Boston, and they didn’t have much communication. This is the normal relationship between Hollywood crews. Everyone is just colleagues and basically won’t deliberately contact after work.

Brad Pitt has always performed well, and his interpretation of the role is quite good. Even the director tells him the scene. Unlike other actors, he has never lacked the opportunity to act, so he did not deliberately contact Wayne.

"You're welcome, remember to attend the shutdown party a week later, and Warner Bros. booked a banquet hall."

Wayne stood up and smiled, the two shook hands, and the formal filming ended here.

Since some of the staff behind the scenes had to stay here for a few days, the shutdown party was put on a week later, Warner Bros. booked a hotel near its own studio, and had enough preparation time, and also invited some media to promote the video in advance.

Compared to the carnival and indulgent parties when the crew was disbanded, such prepared shutdown parties are more formal. Now Hollywood is increasingly valuing marketing, production companies and distribution companies, and will never miss any opportunity to promote and hype.

This time, unlike when the filming ended, Wayne did not give any speech, but sent Gilmore to inform everyone that most of the crew members were disbanded quietly.
