487 - Pile of keys

In the bedroom on the third floor of Greenberg Manor, there was a harmonious atmosphere. Wayne and Naomi Watts sat cross-legged on the carpet, chatting with their daughter.

Little Fendi, who is more than nine months old, is energetic. Although the little guy's hair is very sparse, it can be seen vaguely. The color of the hair is almost exactly the same brown as Wayne's. The two big eyes that reveal curiosity from time to time inherit the characteristics of Naomi Watts, and the round eyes appear light blue.

“oh my god!”

The Australian actress suddenly let out an incredible scream, and the two surrounding the baby turned their eyes to the child in the middle almost immediately.

No one expected that when Naomi Watts joked about making children just now, Little Fendi seemed to understand it, pushing the small plate in his arms to his mother.

"Wayne, did you see it? Fendi was giving me food?!" The Australian actress was so excited that she was incoherent and grabbed one of his arms. "God, she actually understood."

"Hey, hey, hey, baby is watching you."

Wayne was also surprised by the little guy's intelligence. Just now, Naomi Watts obviously teased her, and the little guy seemed to understand. Not only did he push the small plate in his arms towards his mother, he was also staring at her with his clear big eyes.

"Ok, ok." Naomi Watts covered his mouth with one hand, not knowing whether he was happy or choking, so he looked at the baby on the carpet in front of him, and pinched a dairy supplementary food for teeth grinding with his hands from the little guy's plate, and put it in his mouth in front of the child.

"Wayne, Fendi will definitely be a kind little princess from now on."

Looking at her giggling daughter, the Australian actress shook her arm excitedly. "Look, she has learned to share it before she is less than one year old. This is simply amazing."

Maybe the child really understood it, maybe it was just luck, but the little guy's actions still made the novice parents very happy.

I originally thought that if I hadn't met in nearly three months, the little guy would become unfamiliar with the two, but who knew that the two were thinking too much at all. When Xiao Fendi met her parents, she did not express any strange expressions, as if she was not separated from them, she was still as intimate with her parents.

"Listen, my little angel."

Wayne is trying hard to learn to be a good father, recalling the way Old Greenberg was reasoning for himself when he was a child, holding his daughter in his arms, looking at him with a pair of big light blue eyes. "Baby, sharing is like this, which can not only help those in need, but also make himself happy.

But you have to remember that sharing is to give others what you have extra, not what you need too." As he said that, he stretched out his hand seriously, gently tapped the small plate, and continued:

"So it's wrong for you to push the whole plate to your mother. Remember, no matter when you have the time, if you have the extra effort, then share it to help others. The premise is that you must not be wronged. You must first guarantee your own interests and needs..."

“f**k you! Wayne! shut up!”

Originally, Naomi Watts looked at the warmth of his father and daughter, but she still looked happy. Even if Wayne tried hard to dress up as a learned father and began to teach her daughter the principles of being a human being, she felt happy, although the little guy probably couldn't understand what her father was talking about.

But when I heard the latter, the Australian actress obviously felt something was wrong. The man was instilling pure capitalist logic to his daughter who was kind to him like an angel. This was simply a defilement of the pure soul! It was simply unforgivable!

So a sharp roar interrupted the man who wanted to continue instilling the truth in his daughter. "God, why did Fendi have a father like you? You shouldn't tell her this."

Shrugged awkwardly, Wayne knew that he had unconsciously brought out his way of doing things. "Okay, my dear, it's my fault. In fact, Fendi couldn't understand what I said at all."

Being a good person, the so-called good man, is a concept that almost every North American parent constantly instills indoctrination when educating his children. No matter how their parents act, being a good person has always been the most frequently mentioned concept in educating their children.

In fact, it was too early for Wayne to say this to the child. Although he apologized, he secretly decided in his heart that when the little guy became sensible, he would definitely instill his educational philosophy into her.

As the little princess of the Greenberg family, if there is no accident, she will basically not have to worry about her livelihood in her life. However, she is just kind and cannot control her wealth by billions. As the daughter of a Jewish capitalist, she must understand the most basic human nature.

"Knock, knock, knock."

"Boss, have you slept?"

The sudden knock on the door saved Wayne, and Nina's voice came in from outside. "Jimmy's phone call, do you want to answer it? Or do I ask him to call again tomorrow morning?"

"You and Fendi go to bed first, I'll answer the phone."

After stuffing the little guy into her mother's arms, Wayne stood up from the ground with relief, told her a message, and walked towards the bedroom door. After opening the door, she gave the assistant a wink and the two walked towards the study on the second floor.

As the two walked, Nina reported in a hurry. "There should be hearing about your return to Los Angeles on the 20th Century Fox. The new CEO Townsend Rossman personally called Jimmy to urge him, hoping that you can sign the contract as soon as possible."

Hearing this, Wayne suddenly stopped and turned to look at the assistant lady beside her. "What about your opinion?"

"Since the conditions have been agreed upon, we can sign a contract with 20th Century Fox as soon as possible." With Wayne's eyes, Nina habitually raised her hand and pushed her glasses and said, "The awards season is coming soon. With the media channels of 20th Century Fox, it will be of great benefit to us. Don't forget, boss, since they promised to help with all their strength, it means that behind us..."

"News Corp?"

“yes.”

Wayne shook his head and continued to walk towards the study. "I can't use that big hand yet."

Although Oscar seems to be out of reach for most people in the circle, in fact, in his heart, this is just another game with special rules. He has enough preparations. When the awards season goes deeper, Time Warner's various media channels are enough to make "The Walker of the Spot" known to everyone who promotes it.

Therefore, since all the preparations done are carried out according to the rules of the college's game, it is likely that two media groups, which rank in the world, will not take action together.

"I'm Wayne, Jimmy, let's talk about anything."

After coming to the study, he picked up the phone on his desk and said directly to the microphone.

The other end of the phone paused for a moment before speaking. "Wayne, I just received a call from Townsend Rossman. He hopes you can find some time in the near future to go to the Twentieth Century Fox in person, sit down and talk together."

"Talk..." Wayne pondered for a few seconds.

"That's right." Jimmy explained: "Townsen Rossman has just taken office and should have to give shareholders and senior executives a reasonable reason. After all, the price you will cost far exceeds the average level in the circle when signing you to be a producer and designer of the "X-Men" series."

"ha."

Looking at the quiet night view of the manor outside the window, Wayne grinned and laughed. "Help me call Townsend and say I'll visit Fox Building tomorrow afternoon."

After the phone was hung up, he hugged his arms in front of his chest and gently scratched his chin with one hand. It was obvious that although Twentieth Century Fox knew that it would cost a considerable price and effort to sign a contract, he did not pay the bill with his face alone. Before signing the contract, at least he had to take out something that Fox's senior management and shareholders could believe.

It is not necessarily necessary to conduct a detailed investigation, a clear market intention, a rough estimate of shooting costs, and a project plan with a complete script. In fact, what they should want more is a complete, similar to the overall design plan of the DC series.

This is also the reason why Twentieth Century Fox is willing to offer him far exceeds the market price. This price contains the design cost of planning the entire series of plans.

"It seems that you still have to make some preparations." Relying on the large solid wood desk, Wayne looked back at Nina who was fiddling with the safe. "Ms. Klein, what are you doing..."

"Do you want these things?"

Before he could finish his words, the assistant lady turned around with one hand holding a pile of paper, gently putting the hair that fell in front of her with the other hand, and putting it back to her head. "No, the things you wrote down intentionally or unintentionally in the past few years are here. Don't look at me like this. I dare to swear to God that these messy things have never been seen by anyone except me."

He blinked at his boss playfully, Nina deliberately emphasized her tone and added. "You know, this study room has never been allowed to clean."

"uh-huh."

After taking the stack of papers of different sizes handed over by the assistant lady, Wayne smiled and shook his head. But when he saw the first one, he knew that the smart Nina had sorted it out in different categories, and what caught his eye was some of his thoughts about "X-Men".

While recalling his original thoughts, he raised his eyebrows at the assistant lady and joked: "Smart girl, no wonder you can't find a boyfriend."

"To be honest." Nina suddenly put away all her expressions, her muscles on her face were shattered tightly, and she pointed at the information on the table with one hand, looked at her boss seriously with her eyes, and said in a low and serious tone: "To be honest, since I have seen these things, will you feel at ease to ask me to find a strange man to fall in love with? I'm not stupid, boss!"

If she was an ordinary person, she might not have discovered what value this messy note had. But Nina was not an ordinary person, but was a top student with a high IQ, so she knew how much wealth some of the contents meant. Of course, these are just the keys to opening a huge treasure, and it mainly depends on who is in control.
