61 - Move out

The car drove into Greenberg Manor, and Wayne got off the car and was still thinking about how to talk to Naomi. Naomi now lives in the manor and has always been gossiping tabloids to report their relationship.

If this plan starts to be implemented, she will move out as soon as possible. Since she wants to have a formal girlfriend, she cannot leave loopholes to the media to attack him.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

Wayne walked into the living room, Nina and Naomi met together, looking at a book to discuss, Nina was still recording something from time to time.

"It's really not easy to be your assistant, Wayne." Naomi picked up the thick notebook in Nina's hand and handed it to him.

He sat next to them and took them to find that it was densely recorded on it, including information about Hollywood stars, celebrities, and powerful figures, as well as general personal information.

"I'm learning how to be a qualified assistant." Nina shrugged and pointed at the record book. "I found that your main energy must be on the movies, and as your assistant, you must be by your side and remind you all the time who you meet and how to socialize."

Wayne looked through the recorded content, and most of the people who could be included in the key list were senior executives of film companies, editors and executives of large media.

“It was done very well, Nina.”

Returning the notebook to the little assistant, he turned to look at Naomi. "Come upstairs with me, I need to talk to you separately."

"Now?" Naomi followed him to the balcony on the third floor with confusion.

From here you can see most of Los Angeles. When you look down, you will see the beautiful view of Beverly Park. The large balcony has been transformed into an observation deck with parasols and lounge chairs.

Before going to bed, Wayne would sit here for a while and relax his brain when watching the stars. Each director had a different way of fighting pressure, and he liked to light a cigarette and lie here and stare blankly without thinking about anything.

At this time, Wayne sat in his usual place, looking at the beauty who was in line with his personality.

"Nami, Warner has made a video promotion plan. They need me to find a formal girlfriend."

Naomi suddenly understood something, and her face became not very good-looking. "What do I need to do?"

"You have to find a suitable place to live as soon as possible." Wayne still cared about her feelings. "Then avoid the media and move out of the manor."

"Okay, I understand." Naomi knew that their relationship could only be partners and friends. This man would never let the relationship change. She also had plans for it. Some things were just thought about.

"I will move back to the apartment tomorrow and it will not affect your plan." She said calmly.

"When the publicity plan is over, you can come back at any time." Wayne didn't have much to say, both of them knew each other.

Supper time passed in Naomi's taciturn words. Nina felt the strange atmosphere and quickly left the manor.

At 8 o'clock in the evening, Wayne was blowing a cool breeze on the balcony. When he was modifying the shooting plan, Naomi walked in quietly and quietly came behind him.

"Hey, baby, don't you come to play games on my last night here?" She made a soft and charming voice, stroking the man's shoulder with one hand.

When Wayne turned around, he saw the black catwoman with a black custom-made leather jacket and a collar around his neck. Looking at her outfit, he threw down the record book and stood up.

"Sweetheart, you are so beautiful!"

He gently pulled up the rope on the collar and said softly in her ear.

Today, Naomi was particularly crazy. Starting from the balcony, the entire third floor was filled with their traces. She also excitedly held the DV and took the initiative to take pictures of the Eighteen Forbidden scenes.

After the intense exercise, they lay on the big bed without caring about the clothes they threw everywhere. Naomiza asked suddenly:

"I saw that Nina's book recorded many people, but there was no list of core members of the academy. She seemed to have not realized this yet. This is for you in the future...don't."

Wayne's hand, which was placed in the quilt, squeezed hard, interrupting her.

“For those members of the academy and critics, I don’t know them now, nor do I need to deliberately please them.”

Naomi looked up at his face and asked in confusion: "Are you interested in Oscars?"

"Oscars, of course I like the little golden man." Wayne pulled up and pulled the quilt. "If I said I didn't want the best director, it would be a lie, but now I am too young. Those old men wouldn't let a young director get that honor.

I won’t have any plans for Oscars within a few years. It takes a lot of time and energy to go to the Olympics, and I have to make videos that suit their tastes in order to please those people. This is not worth it. I think the goal within a few years will only be box office results and qualifications accumulation.”

"Wayne, you ignore your film style. Oscars never like genres other than realistic style, and you're shooting absurd thriller."

Naomi reminded him.

Hearing her words, Wayne nodded and said without any concealment: "Nami, I will indeed slowly change my style. These two films are just to accumulate directorial experience. But changing the style is for market demand, not for Oscars."

"Of course, if those old men have to give me Oscar director Xiao Jinren, I would like to express my gratitude. If I don't give it, it's no big deal, and there will be a chance in the future."

"Impossible!" Naomi listened to him teasing the judges of the academy. "I have learned that a director like you who doesn't care about Oscars will not get the Little Golden Man. Unless the judges see you working hard, if there is no public relations or behind-the-scenes operation, do you think they will give you Little Golden Man?"

"So, there is no need to prepare for the Oscars now!" Wayne spread his hands. "Now, I prefer to speak with box office numbers."

Naomi Watts nodded, understood the director's mentality, and closed his eyes silently, thinking about what to do after he moved out.

Although she has only starred in two films so far, after this racial discrimination incident, she realized that she had thought Hollywood too simply in the past. The fierce competition here and the complexity of the relationship between actors, directors and agents were not comparable to that she had in Australia before.

Gradually, the two of them began to breathe smoothly, and they both fell asleep while thinking.

Wayne slept in a rare sleep. After waking up, Naomi had moved out. Thinking about the madness of last night, he forced himself to forget that feeling and reminded himself that he was just starting out and that he was not far from when he could focus on his feelings.

After breakfast, Sergei drove Wayne to Burbank again. In the Warner Building, he saw Harry Berry who had been waiting for a long time.

Harry Berry's face was obviously much haggard, and he no longer had the charm of the first audition.

"Warner has already negotiated with me, and I have signed that damn confidentiality agreement, I'm ready." Harry Berry spoke with a complicated look at Wayne.

Wayne turned to look at Paul Charles. After seeing him nodding and confirming, he said with confidence: "I hope we can cooperate happily."

After saying that, I took the initiative to pick up the contract on the table, checked it all over again, and signed my name.

"Wayne!" Paul Charles saw that he had signed the contract and handed him a printed document. "This is the detailed process of the plan. Warner's reporter will soon interview Harry Berry. All you have to do is cooperate according to this plan."

After carefully reading, the plan inside was much more detailed than what Paul said. Even if you have to go shopping together in the next few days, it is clearly marked.

"No problem, then let's do it first. I have to rush to the studio, and there is still a shooting task in the afternoon." After saying that, he nodded to Harry Berry and walked out with the information.

After returning to Warner Studios, Wayne started workaholic mode again. Unless necessary, all the things in life were left to Nina.

Will Smith and Naomi Watts were in good condition in shooting, and Metz and his performance were getting better, which made the crew's shooting speed suddenly accelerate, and they had already passed the running-in period.

"Okay, take ten minutes off."

The next day, just as Wayne finished shooting a set of shots and was resting, Will Smith walked over with a strange smile.

"Hey, Wayne, this is what my assistant just brought it to you, and the news above will definitely surprise you!"

"What?" Wayne, who was staring at the monitor for replay, took the newspaper handed over by Will Smith, and saw the enlarged and bold title at a glance.

‘Black Pearl is deeply troubled by self-blame and is suspected of suffering from depression!!’ The newspaper reported that Harry Berry was threatened by Feren Goodman and threw dirty water on the director and falsely accused him of racial discrimination, which made him fall into self-blame and is suspected of suffering from depression. There is also a photo suspected to be taken secretly below.

This is nothing. He rolled the newspaper and there was a detailed interview with Harry Berry on the back. The whole article was full of her confession of her behavior, and she thanked Wayne for her generous forgiveness. At the end of the report, there was another sentence she said in person:

"White Greenberg, who is a gentleman with a broad mind, can he not like? He is a good person with character. I think I am deeply attracted by his noble character!"

It seems that Warner can't wait to start the plan, and may be worried that the popularity will be over and the public will forget about this.

"Hey, bro, did you see it? This girl actually faced the media and expressed her good feelings for you. Is there anything more ridiculous than this?"

Will Smith laughed strangely and teased him that everyone had become familiar with each other during this period of time on the crew, especially Will Smith, who looks like a likable person, could almost chat with everyone.

"Maybe I should accept her love? Then forgive all the wrong things she has done and live happily with her?"

Wayne said in a very formal tone, but when these words were heard by the people around him, he felt that he was making fun of him.

"Hey, hey!" Will Smith said in a rap tone. "No one is saying that our director has no humorous cells. You see, he's just not good at using this in shooting."

All the staff around laughed, and Wayne looked at them speechlessly. Could it be that telling the truth these days is just a joke?
