387 Eight Colored Thunder God(1/2)
In Shinto mythology, the relationship between the father god Izanagi and the mother god Izanami is somewhat complicated.
At first they were brothers and sisters, then they were husband and wife, and finally they were enemies.
As for how this pair of father and mother gods turned against each other, we have to talk about it when Izanami gave birth to the Kagutsuchi God of Fire.
Kagutsuchi of Fire, as the god of fire in Shintoism, was born bathed in fire.
Izanami was in great pain when giving birth to him, and was burned to the point of becoming bedridden, and soon died of the illness.
After Izanami's death, Izanagi was devastated. After crying bitterly, he pulled out the famous ten-fist sword "Ama no Owabari" he was wearing, and killed his son Kagutsuchi God of Fire.
After killing the God of Fire, Izanagi missed Izanami and chased her all the way to the Underworld.
Izanami came out from the underworld to greet him, as if she were alive.
Izanagi asked his wife to go back with him and continue to nurture the country. Izanami did not refuse, but said that she had already eaten Huangquan's food and needed Huangquan's permission before she could leave.
"Husband, please don't look at me."
Izanami said this, and suddenly disappeared after speaking, and the surrounding area fell into darkness.
Izanagi waited for a while, raised the torch and looked at it. He saw that the body of Izanami next to him was rotten and bloated, like a giant, covered with live maggots. Not only that, Izanami's body had eight places,
That is, "head, chest, abdomen, lower yin, left hand, right hand, left foot, right foot", each of which is surrounded by a Yin thunder god.
The eight thunder gods in the corresponding positions are "big thunder, fire thunder, black thunder, dismantling thunder, Ruo thunder, earth thunder, Ming thunder and Fu thunder", also known as the eight colored thunder gods.
The legend does not explain the nature of these eight so-called thunder gods, but it is assumed that they were transformed from the rotting corpse of Izanami or the live maggots on the corpse.
Seeing such a horrifying scene, Izanagi was frightened and ran away in a hurry.
When Izanami saw that her husband, who kept saying she loved her, ran away, she felt insulted and was filled with shame and anger, so she ordered her subordinates, the "ugly girl from underworld", to be sold to her mother Toshi Xu, and the eight underworld gods Raikou led the underworld army to chase Izanagi.
Izanagi fled all the way to the underworld and blocked the underworld Hirazaka with a thousand stones.
The former husband and wife stood face to face across the Thousand Yin Stone and vowed to break up with each other——
Izanami said: "My husband, since you treat me like this, I will kill thousands of people every day in your country."
Izanagi said: "My wife, if you do that, I will build 1,500 delivery rooms every day."
In this way, thousands of people will die every day, and fifteen hundred people will be born every day, which means death and rebirth in the world.
As a result, the father god and mother god in Shintoism officially broke apart, and Izanami finally became the mother god of filth in the underworld.
…
Kamiyagawa briefly recalled some contents related to Huangquan and Izanami in Japanese mythology.
How should I put it, the reason for the rift between the father-goddess and the mother-goddess is a little difficult to evaluate.
However, the myths Kamiya looked at were essentially human records.
The gods of this world really exist. What happened between Izanagi and Izanami, and whether there are other unknown secrets, remains to be discussed.
However, Kamiya is now the master of Takamagahara, and there is a vague innate hostility between himself and Huangquan's forces.
From this point of view, it can be speculated that the former master of the shrine, Izanagi, and the master of the underworld, Izanami, should be determined to be enemies.
As the later successor, Kamiyagawa may have inherited this hostility.
"I wonder if there is any connection between the destruction of Takamagahara, the fall and disappearance of the gods, and Huangquan and Izanami."
Kamiyagawa was thinking in a divergent way, and then his eyes fell back to the screen of his mobile phone, looking at the name "Yomori Army·Kurobe".
"The night thieves are essentially the underworld army, the 'Kurobu'...'Black' corresponds to one of the eight-colored thunder gods, right? So these night thieves are probably the men of the black thunder god?"
"Think about it this way, the 'village demon god' who devoured the indigenous sun god of Kamui in the mouth of Granny Lotus Grass and brought about the lightless disaster is probably the black thunder god from the Shinto religion."
Is it the influence of Huangquan that has harmed Kamui?
"Dad...brother, it's ready over there."
At this time, Hua Whale trotted up to Shen Gu, who was having random thoughts, gently pulled the latter's sleeve, and raised his hand to point to the snow not far away.
Over there are several shikigami from Kamiya, as well as the Karasu Tengu that was just rescued.
"I was so absorbed in thinking that I almost forgot this strange story of the Ainu people."
Kamiyagawa took the little whale's hand and walked forward.
Beside Karasu Tengu, Hannya, who still wears the mask of jealousy, is using white powder with "medicine" properties to treat the wounds on the former's body.
It looks like the application has just ended.
The little whale came over just now to inform you of this.
Seeing Kamiya River approaching, Hannya nodded slightly towards his onmyoji, then levitated and floated behind Kamiya.
Kamiyagawa can tacitly understand the meaning contained in the movements of Prajna's eyes——
Wu Tengu's injury is a little serious, but he should be able to recover after applying medicine.
Kamiya knelt down next to the Tengu boy.
The environment in the surrounding snowfield is still dim, but this darkness is no longer as solemn and terrifying as when the night thieves appeared. If you get closer, even without using the [Autumn Hair Cut] technique, you can still see the shiny black feathers of the Wutengu, as well as the shiny black feathers on the feathers.
Dried blood stains.
The white mask with divine patterns on Wu Tengu's face moved, and his golden eyes stared straight at him, with an indescribable sense of awe in his eyes.
"scare……"
The whale standing next to Kamiya was not very courageous. After being swept by the eyes of the Karasu Tengu, he immediately got behind the Kamiya River. He pulled Kamiya's clothes tightly, and his big tail flapped up and down on the snow uneasily, only to explore.
forehead and blue eyes.
"How are you feeling?" Kamiya asked as he let the fearful little whale pull him while observing the Karasu Tengu.
"Thanks."
Wu Tengu replied. When he spoke, he did not speak in Anui, but in Japanese with a somewhat stiff and weird tone.
It's a bit difficult to listen to, but I can barely understand it.
It seems that he can speak and communicate, which is a good thing.
Kamiyagawa: "I fought off the night thief and saved you. But it was not in vain. In return, I hope to get some information from you."
Wu Tengu's divine pattern mask moved slightly, but he did not reply, probably acquiescing to Kamiya's suggestion.
"What's your relationship with the little people of Krobokulu? They call you a minion of the devil."
Hearing this, Wu Tengu's eyes showed a little sadness, and he slowly said: "I am the mother goddess worshiped by the Kropokuru people, and the subordinate god of Yausikpu. The mother goddess once had many
A follower god, and I only followed the Mother Goddess shortly before the lightless disaster came. I am the weakest follower god with the least sense of existence. The Kropokulus don't know me, and they don't trust me."
As Kamiya thought before, Karastengu is indeed not the devil's vanguard.
On the contrary, his position is still on the side of the Kropokulus.
Before the night thieves show up, the Karasu Tengu appears in the sky just to warn them.
But the little humans only believed that when the Tengu appeared, the night thief would appear, so they spread rumors and regarded him as a member of the demon god.
This situation may be similar to the symbol of the crow itself.
People in many places regard crows as the apostles of the "god of death" and believe that crows appearing in people's homes will bring misfortune and death to their homes.
But in fact, the crow may just be attracted by the smell of death and decay on the dying person, and it is not the crow itself that brings death.
"What about the other Yausikp gods?"
"Most of them died after the lightless disaster came."
"So, where is your mother goddess?"
"The Mother Goddess... was suppressed by the village and the country under the temple, and has fallen into a deep sleep."
"Your mother goddess is a high-ranking divine power, right? Are there any other divine powers in the land of Kamui?" Kamiya asked again.
Wu Tengu just shook his head and evaded his eyes: "I don't know, because... Shintoism took over the faith, many gods of Anui disappeared without a trace a long time ago. The power of gods on this land except the mother goddess... I don't know
I know there are still a few, but I don’t know what their situation will be after the lightless disaster comes."
Based on Kamiyagawa's strong yet calm performance when facing night thieves, combined with his status as an outsider, the Tengu boy had probably guessed his identity to some extent.
At least it must be a god from Shintoism.
