A710 and a510 are the two latest cores launched by arm, but the upgrade rate of these two cores is only less than 8% compared to the previous generation a78 and a55.
Even at medium and high frequencies, the power consumption of these two cores will directly increase by at least 20% compared to the power consumption of the previous generation core.
This is a very scary number. It can be seen from this number that the energy consumption ratio of these two new cores is basically overturned.
Even after becoming the core of the processor chip, its performance is not as good as the previous generation's a78 and a55 cores.
For example, in history, the Fire Dragon 778g was actually forced to act as the rescuer of the two generations of Fire Dragon mid-range chips.
Among them, the mid-range processor chip released by Gaotong in 2021 is actually the Fire Dragon 780g, which uses the same Sansan 5nm process technology as the Fire Dragon 888.
As a result, this mid-range processor chip, which had high hopes, ended up being seriously overheated due to the corresponding process, and was eventually used in the Youth Edition of the rice phone 11 series.
As a result, Fire Dragon urgently adopted the Fire Dragon 778g, the rescue work of TSMC's six-nanometer process technology, to serve as its own mid-range processor chip.
This chip has also been recognized by many manufacturers for its adequate performance and correspondingly low power consumption, and is widely used in mid-range models.
Logically speaking, a company that has suffered a loss should have a longer memory, but it is a pity that a company does not have a long memory.
In 2022, the Fire Dragon 7gen1, which uses the Sansan process, will make a strong debut, and the entire core will also use the a710 and a510, which have a somewhat overturned energy consumption ratio.
The corresponding energy consumption ratio of the core architecture has overturned, coupled with the overturn of the process technology.
The overall performance of this processor chip is almost the same as the small overclocked version of Fire Dragon 778g, but in terms of power consumption performance, it has truly performed a wave of overturning.
After the green factory adopted this chip, no mobile phone manufacturer dared to use this chip again.

However, this time Yuzhen Semiconductor agreed to the current MediaTek, and naturally had to carry out a deeper design of the other party's processor chip.
In addition to replacing the medium core and small core with the previous generation core, the frequency of the medium core and small core is also further increased.
As for the ultra-large core x2 core, until the ultimate performance is released, this ultra-large core is basically in a low-frequency dormant state.
In light to moderate usage environments, the core and small cores still occupy the main operating position.
Under the leadership of Yuzhen Semiconductor, MediaTek designed a new processor chip in less than half a month.

The frequency of this mid-core can be used as the large core of some chips. After all, it is basically unheard of for a mid-core to reach 2.92ghz.

In addition, the four a55 cores are also controlled at 2.0ghz. The four energy-efficiency cores can ensure that power consumption is directly reduced during light use.
This time, we have conducted in-depth cooperation discussions with Yuzhen Conductor and MediaTek in terms of GPU.
In the end, MediaTek exchanged 15% of each chip's revenue directly for the h12 architecture GPU core currently used by Yuzhen Semiconductor.
Under the planning of Yuzhen Semiconductor, Dimensity supports the 16-core h12 graphics processor in terms of the GPU of the processor chip.
In terms of GPU performance, it is the most direct and obvious compared to MediaTek's self-designed chips.
At the same time, this chip also supports Yuzhen Semiconductor's tfs1.5 and tpddr1.5 protocol flash memory and storage chips in terms of peripheral configuration.
And the ISP core also uses Yu Zhen's patent, using the same ISP module as Yu Zhen Semiconductor's Tianxuan 700 processor chip.
Of course, this can be regarded as leaving a backdoor for the products of the FlexPai system.
After the corresponding processor chip design was completed, MediaTek was quite satisfied with this new chip.
Yuzhen Semiconductor participated in this new line design. According to the corresponding contract, 15% of the net profit obtained from this chip is reserved for Yuzhen Semiconductor.
Coupled with the corresponding GPU and ISP patent licensing fees, for every piece of this chip sold, Yuzhen Semiconductor can obtain about 35% of the net profit of the chip.
At the same time, due to the cooperative relationship between the two, Zhou Zhen also obtained the right to launch the processor chip this time.
This chip will be officially sent to TSMC for corresponding tape-out production beginning in early December.
It is estimated that formal mass production and shipment will begin in February.
