Chapter 17: Undercover(1/8)
Is the undercover profile important?
For undercover agents, it is definitely more important than life. That is their guarantee and the evidence that they can turn back.
In fact, this information does not appear to be that important to the Commissioner and many senior police officers.
After all, we are only halfway through the 1980s, and the largest undercover operation in the history of the Hong Kong Comprehensive City began in the 1990s.
Not to mention Operation Crouching Tiger, it probably required premeditation by Lei Yaoyang's organization.
During this period, there were very few undercover agents, and their performance was not outstanding, which did not satisfy the top police officers.
From top to bottom, the police department has not paid much attention to the undercover profession. There are several reasons for this.
First, most of the club bosses in this era are from the older generation, and they value seniority.
If you want to rise to the top, it will take at least seven or eight years to achieve that, and you are still just a small boss.
In other words, it would take at least seven or eight years for a police officer to enter the society as an undercover police officer before he can reach the position.
The police department only began to gradually dispatch undercover agents in the 1980s.
To put it simply, the best undercover agent is currently the leader of a neighborhood and has no access to the top leaders of the society.
At most, they can give the police information and crack down a few small gambling stalls, a few horse stables, etc.
Secondly, undercover agents in this era do not have such a strong sense of justice.
At least half of the people joining the club are unwilling and semi-forced.
In fact, if you think about it carefully, you can imagine that they originally told their family that they were going to the police academy to become police officers.
The result was not that he failed to pass the exam, but precisely because he passed the exam and had relatively good grades, he was selected as an undercover agent. He jumped from an upright policeman to a career that was not visible to the public.
I wonder how many people can accept such a change.
So after these people join the club, as long as they do well, they just hang out in the club directly.
Of course, the police are not completely cut off, and they will give out one or two pieces of unimportant information from time to time. Even if it is OK, under all circumstances, how can the senior officials take the undercover seriously?
It was this lack of regard that allowed Lei Yaoyang to take advantage of the loophole and easily obtain information from the director.
Looking at the files one after another, Ma Jun and Li Haoyang were impressed, but also a little puzzled.
Ma Jun immediately asked:
"Head, this information is of little use except to let us know who is ours. Even though we are colleagues, we are not their contacts. They will not provide us with information."
Li Haoyang followed closely and said:
"Yeah, since these guys are all undercover, they won't want to expose their identities. Brother Yaoyang, you also said that the director will not admit that he gave us the information. In other words, their contact person remains unchanged, not transferred to
Our police station."
"This information seems to be of no use other than being hot to the touch!"
"On the contrary, if this information is leaked in the future, I may be held accountable."
Listening to the advice of his two closest confidants, Lei Yaoyang put down the information documents and said with a smile:
"When our Mong Kok Police Department investigates, will we ask other departments to provide information?"
"There are hundreds of associations in Mong Kok and dozens of leaders. There is no time when they do not fully cooperate with us."
"Don't say it's me, just say you, Ah Jun, go out and shout and ask the boss here in Mong Kok to help you find out something. Will they not help?"
Ma Jun and Li Haoyang nodded repeatedly:
Yes, Mong Kok Police Station is different from all police stations in Hong Kong. Due to Lui Yaoyang's reputation in the world and his numerous activities, including Guan Gong's birthday auction, firecrackers notarization, etc., he has long been admired by the community in Mong Kok.
Usually there is some kind of bug in the police station, and as soon as the news is released, many big bosses rush to help.
From top to bottom, the Mong Kok Police Station is really not depressed because no information can be found after searching for anything.
"What about these information?"
Li Haoyang had a vague guess and said cautiously
: "Are you ready to trade your head?"
"ah?"
Ma Jun was not an idiot. He was shocked and understood what Li Haoyang meant.
The boss here in Mong Kok actually has a very good relationship with the Mong Kok Police Department. In other words, the Mong Kok Police Department doesn't care at all about undercover agents.
Secretly tell the bosses about the undercover. To be honest, the Mong Kok Police Station will be more beneficial.
"What's the deal? We are the police, why do we need to deal with those bosses outside?"
Lei Yaoyang smiled slightly and denied:
"How could I be so careless and send these colleagues to die?"
"The information I need is not for use now, but for storage. It may be an extra trump card that can be used in the future."
call!
Hearing such a statement, both Ma Jun and Li Haoyang breathed a sigh of relief.
To be honest, if Lei Yaoyang really took this information and went out to deal with those bosses, the two of them would not say anything on the surface, but they would still feel uncomfortable in their hearts.
I'm just taking a look at it now, not planning to use it, but the two are acceptable.
Looking at the two people, Lei Yaoyang knew their thoughts very clearly and smiled:
"Okay, you guys go do your work. Don't spread the undercover information to anyone else. Just pretend you haven't seen it. Do you understand?"
"yes, sir!"
Ma Jun and Li Haoyang agreed, got up and left the office.
Lei Yaoyang was left facing the empty office with a happy smile on his face. He took out the documents again and memorized them.
at the same time.
Many members of the hand-turning club received invitations from Chen Shaowei personally.
Tomorrow is the official opening day of the Yuen Long Dog Fighting Arena. This is the first business that the rich second-generation team has painstakingly considered. Of course, they hope to win the support of other members.
Since the name of the dog fighting ring is "dog training ground", on the surface, it is definitely considered a serious business, so after receiving the invitation, most of the members gave it a try and promised to be there.
On the Sanliantang Blue Whale side, something went wrong.
The invitation here was sent by Fei Quan, and the invitation happened to be picked up by Sanliantang Flower Buddha.
In response, Hua Buddha scolded Fei Quan for being arrogant. After throwing away the post, he ran to complain to Blue Whale.
His statement was quite reasonable. In his opinion, Fei Quan was just a small hall master of Hong Le, and he was the new hall master.
With that kind of status, even if you want to treat guests, you are worthy of inviting the master of Sanlian Hall, such as yourself.
This all depends on whether you can give face or not.
You surpassed everyone and posted to your own leader. Isn't this an arrogant thing?
What is your identity as Feiquan? Are you on the same level as your own leader?
Poor Hua Buddha didn't know many things, so when he ran to Blue Whale, not only did he not get praise from Blue Whale, but he was scolded with a slap in the face.
You know, Blue Whale has already received a call from Ding Yao, saying that it was Lei Yaoyang's order that all the members of the mixed society in the flipping club should be there tomorrow. Lei Yaoyang has something to tell the members.
But now, the invitation has been thrown away, and Blue Whale is a little embarrassed to come to the door. I just hope not to check the invitation then, otherwise it will be too embarrassing.
Yuen Long, the main area in the northwest New Territories of Hong Kong, is an alluvial plain.
The regional center of Yuen Long is located on both sides of the Yuen Long section of Castle Peak Road, commonly known as Yuen Long City Center or Yuen Long City, which refers to some developed areas there.
It is the most prosperous place in Yuen Long, with frequent commercial activities. It is also the transportation hub in the district and the core part of Yuen Long New Town.
Of course, no matter how prosperous it is, Yuen Long in the 1990s was still far behind the urban area of Hong Kong Comprehensive City.
Since it is called a "town", the scale can be imagined. It is a suburban area in the minds of locals in Hong Kong City.
It was early this morning.
A convoy of several cars set off from Sai Kung and headed straight for Yuen Long District.
In the car, the three Vietnamese gang members Azha, the Dragon Head Club Kuanglong, Airplane, Dasha and other Saigon people were all present.
They all dressed up to give Chen Shaowei and his gang some face, and prepared to participate in the opening of their dog farm.
Especially the lead car, which was driven by Greyhound and Ajie sat in the passenger seat.
In the back row, Lei Yaoyang, Ding Yao, Doctor, and Aye are all there.
At this moment, Lei Yaoyang was chatting with the doctor:
"Doctor, Ayao said you are going back to Taiguo tomorrow? Are you leaving so soon without having more fun?"
The doctor nodded and said with a smile:
"This time I came to Hong Kong Comprehensive Market, I have stayed a lot longer than I originally expected. If it weren't for the opening of my brother's business today, I would have gone back a long time ago. President, you also know that there is still some business waiting for me at home.
Go back and do it, "I have tried to do as little business as possible in the past few years, but I still have many old customers, so I have to give it a try."
To be continued...
