Chapter 19 Luna

(Note: The name of the orc tribe in the previous text has been changed to the Stone Clan.)

——

The orc tribe imagined by Caesar was something similar to the human lord castle. It was a place where smart creatures had tall tents, altars and bunkers, and many watchtowers stood outside.

However, looking at the orc child who was still trying to polish stone axes and bone spurs not far away, Caesar knew he was wrong.

And it's quite outrageous.

The settlement of the Shiyao clan is located between the foothills and mountains, in a relatively flat basin. However, it is wilderness. Except for some brackets built with tree trunks and used to dry fur, there is no trace of the survival of intelligent creatures here.

Orcs use animal skin enclosures and grind stone materials as weapons, accompany wolves, and live in natural or randomly-drawn stone caves.

It's exactly the same as the original Stone Age people.

Looking at the orcs sitting on the ground with their legs spread out, biting raw meat, and smelling the fishy smell of the undried fur, Caesar couldn't help but wonder if his decision was wrong. Is it the right choice to form an alliance with such an orc clan?

"These guys live like beasts than dragons."

Caesar sighed in his heart. No wonder Blackshia and Gallon were unwilling to get along with him. If he had known that the Stone Crow clan was in such a situation in the morning, he would probably have not signed a covenant with them.

Death loss.

Fortunately, the dragon's concept of time is quite slow. For the orcs, twenty-five years are enough to breed a newborn into a powerful warrior. However, for the dragon, it is just a few sleeps.

To be honest, the arrival of a black dragon at the beginning caused a great sensation among the clan tribes. Many orcs could only imagine the shape of dragons in their ancestors' descriptions. Few have seen dragons with their own eyes. At first sight, they were inevitably excited.

However, as time goes by, the orcs got used to it. After all, as the most barbaric and warlike race, they have hunted many strange monsters in the primitive jungle. Although Caesar is a real dragon, he is nothing more than a creature in this world. He breathes the same air as them, and there is nothing strange about it.

What's more, in the wilderness, the pressure on the life of the tribe orcs is very high. Not only do they have to polish and repair weapons, but they also have to clean and dry fur, use stone tools to store water, store food, etc. So, except for the children who are still curious about Caesar, the other orcs took a few glances and then dispersed.

It’s not that they are not wary of foreign species, but that the old leader has already told me that the black dragon and the stone crow clan signed a God’s covenant, and any act of violating the oath will be punished by God. Out of trust in the wizards and respect for the gods, the orcs’ vigilance is buried deep in their hearts and not manifested too clearly.

No one cares about him, Caesar was happy to be clean. He was not polite at all. He was very familiar with using his sharp claws to open up another huge cave on the top of the orcs' perched mountain. After taking a little time to level the surroundings slightly, a simple nest was completed.

Caesar's dragon wings shrank and entered the rebuilt nest.

Then, he opened his mouth.

The dragon's tongue is somewhat similar to the reptile lizards. Although the length cannot reach half of the body length like a lizard, the structure is more delicate. The dense nerves inside allow dragons to control their tongues to twist into various shapes at will.

So when Caesar opened his mouth and controlled his originally curled tongue to gradually straighten, the forest fairy wrapped inside revealed his body and was finally slowly placed on the ground.

Before he awakened his magic power, many young dragons usually collect and transport treasures in this way, and sometimes transport food. Caesar put a lot of effort into his body and used similar methods of transportation to pick up similar methods.

Caesar leaned down, put his neck flat on the ground, and didn't say anything, staring straight at the forest fairy.

Five minutes later—

The little guy's body trembled slightly. After a brief pause, the forest goblin seemed to regain consciousness. She quickly turned over, leaned up, and coughed in pain.

"Ahem..."

After choking for a few times, the Forest Fairy finally regained control of her body, struggled to sit up straight, swung her arms and tried to slap her chest.

"really."

Caesar thought in his heart that many creatures in this world will enter a state of false death when they suffer fatal damage, and all vital signs disappear, and they will not wake up until a while. This is a protective mechanism of their physical instinct.

In the early years of ancient times, many weak creatures used this method as a cover in order to avoid predators.

However, as the times change, more and more carnivorous animals will begin to swallow dead prey, and the protective measures for fake death will lose their original meaning and be eliminated.

Unexpectedly, there was such an ancient mechanism on the Forest Fairy.

However, the little guy was cheated by himself this time. If she was not facing Caesar but other black dragons, the state of fake death would only arouse their appetite more. The forest fairy would be quickly corroded by the acid liquid and then become the black dragon's on-the-trade meal.

The little thing gradually stopped coughing and looked around his body. He still couldn't figure out where the smelly liquid on his body came from. He inadvertently glanced at the fierce and ferocious huge head in front of him.

The memories before sleeping quickly became clear.

The Forest Fairy quickly moved her butt back a little distance, opened her mouth wide, and was about to scream.

"Shut up! Or you'll eat you." Caesar showed his fangs.

The little guy's voice was stuck in his throat. Before he could come back from his shock, he reacted a little slow, obviously not knowing the fact that he had been eaten once.

"Oh huh, oh huh."

The little guy was so small that Caesar had to get close enough to see the facial expression on her face. The Forest Fairy let out a small but meaningless cry, and then pleaded in a low voice: "Don't eat Luna."

"Your name is Luna? The Fairy of the Forest?"

Caesar is not sure.

"Luna Blanvey Tiarope Ovknistein Ranphne Clapisia Stionho..."

A series of messy names popped up from the little guy's mouth.

It was indeed a forest fairy, Caesar curled his lips.

The naming method of this race is unique in the world. In the naming rules of the Forest Fairy, at the beginning of the name is their own name, and after that, it is the name of her parents, and then it is the name of her grandparents... In this way, it can even be traced back to their ancestors.

For the witches, their names are their genealogy.

"Stop, I understand."

Caesar waved his paws and stopped the little guy from chirping. This was simply torture. Almost every forest fairy's full name can be said for a whole day until they can't remember it (the forest fairy is proud to remember his complete name).

"Are you okay?"

The forest fairy Luna shut her mouth, then became excited, and her four wings flapped: "Mr. Long, have you promised not to eat me? Can I leave?"

"no."
