Chapter 29 Silver Nameplate

The severity of Alex's injury was unimaginable to Chen An. The arm he had been covering was actually not only broken. To be precise, his entire right arm was broken in shattering, and his muscle tissue was torn and necrotic. Normal treatment methods were completely unable to solve his arm injury. Now the only one that could cure his arm was probably the healing technique unique to the Goddess of Life Temple.

However, compared to the internal injuries he suffered, the injuries to his arm were pale.

After truly experiencing the battle with the seventh-level monster, Alex deeply realized his weakness and despair. Faced with the violent attack of the terrifying giant ape, he was almost like a ball kicked by a child at will. No matter how he dodged, he could not escape the terrifying magic clutches of the giant ape slapped them hard. It was a miracle that he could hold on until now and not die.

If he hadn't had luckily discovered a deep quagmire pool and took the opportunity to lure the giant ape into it, he would have never had the life to see Chen An again.

He was unwilling to accept Chen An's treatment. The reason was that he did not want Chen An to know his specific injuries, so as not to cause Chen An's excessive guilt and regret, because he was worried that this stimulation would make Chen An unhappy again and become unfamiliar as before.

Walking in the rugged cave, the atmosphere was terrible. None of them spoke, until they arrived at a fork in the road, Alex subconsciously asked Chen An, who was usually making ideas, "An, which road should we take?"

"To the right." Chen An stepped forward and observed for a moment.

Alex didn't ask the reason. Perhaps it was because of his long-term trust in Chen An. He walked towards the fork on the right without saying a word.

Shhh—

Shortly after the two went deep into the right, Alex suddenly made a move to silence, and then he turned his head to signal Chen An to pay attention to the top of the cave.

Chen An looked up and saw that the top of the cave was black, and under the faint fluorescent stone, there were gradually revealing huge bat-like creatures hanging upside down.

Seeing this, the two of them were even more cautious in their steps, afraid that a little sound would alarm the densely packed terrifying creatures on their heads.

Now the speed of the two people can basically be described as turtle speed. If you gently steer with your toes at each step, you will take another step. I don’t know how long it took, but they finally almost walked out of the area where bat creatures gathered. They thought they could relax, but they encountered the worst thing.

There is no way ahead.

Alex looked at the tunnel in front of him that seemed to have only dug half a piece of it, and his last trace of energy seemed to have been exhausted. He leaned on the stone wall and sat down silently, then shook his head at Chen An with a bitter smile.

Chen An put down his backpack and observed it silently, and from time to time he would explore the surrounding stone walls.

Seeing Chen An's strange behavior, Alex couldn't help but wonder: "An! What are you doing?"

"See if there is anything suspicious." Chen An said casually.

"It's just a cave without a road. What's suspicious about it?" Alex said.

"Alex, do you know why I chose the road on the right?" Chen An continued to grop with the stone wall without looking back.

"I don't know." Alex said truthfully.

"Because the road on the right is obviously cut by manual digging." Chen An sighed. He came to Alex and squatted down, and pulled out the dagger he inserted in his leather boots. "Let me lend you your dagger for the time being."

"The traces of artificial excavation?" Alex showed a surprised expression, not caring about Chen An taking his dagger.

"Yes, if you compare the other two roads just now, you will find how unnatural the road on the right is." Chen An said, and continued to knock on the stone wall with the dagger in his hand in front of the stone wall that had no way to go.

Alex recalled that there seemed to be something different about the entrance of the three fork road.

"But what does this mean?"

"Alex, don't you think it's very abnormal to have a cave dug in the seventh floor of the Demon-Sealing Tower?" Chen An turned to another place after knocking on one place without notice.

"Maybe it was because the gods were digging to create a safe zone a long time ago?" Alex guessed.

"I don't think it's like that," Chen Andu said. "I always think there's something wrong with this cave."

"So you are planning to find out if there is a way out for this cave?" Alex felt that he had seen through Chen An's thoughts.

"Anyway, I'm idle. If I don't get anything, I'll wait until you have a good rest and we can go back the same path and choose another path." Chen An said absent-mindedly.

"Then you can work hard, I'll take a break first."

After saying that, Alex closed his eyes and began to take care of his body.

Hey—

Suddenly, Chen An accidentally knocked on a stone in the cave wall and revealed a silver luster inside.

He quickly scraped and dug the surrounding soil with a dagger, and the silver luster also revealed its original appearance.

"An, what did you find?"

After hearing Chen An's surprise, Alex woke up immediately.

“It seems to be a brand.”

Chen An carefully wiped the silver sign exposed in the stone wall, and then found some words engraved on the silver medal. When he looked carefully, his brain felt a familiar and strong pain.

"install?!"

Alex, who noticed Chen An's strangeness, quickly stood up from the ground and walked towards him.

"I...I'm fine."

Chen An covered his head and felt the pain slowly fading. His eyes subconsciously placed the words engraved on the sign in front of him.

"This is……"

"An, what did you find?"

Seeing Chen An staring at the silver sign in the stone wall with a look of astonishment, Alex looked at it, but found that he couldn't understand what was written on the silver medal.

"Soinland 1796 early warning outpost."

Chen An was stunned and muttered the words on the silver medal, and felt a heat flowing from his body and spine.

"An! Can you understand what is written above?" Alex asked anxiously.

"Alex, I may understand what this is." Chen Anping regained his excitement and turned to Alex and said.

"What is this?" Alex was confused.

"Soinlan, the legendary demon paradise in mythological history, is also the so-called abyss nickname, and the words on it are the demonic words." Chen An gently stroked the font on the silver medal and said softly. "And this is an outpost they once established."
