Chapter 14 Awakening

Chapter 14: Wake up ()

The next morning, after the usual morning exercise, Wende came to the inner world through the devil game. He had just appeared on the chair in front of the computer desk, and the huntress who was sleeping in a corner of the room raised his head alertly.

Seeing that it was Wende, her expression relaxed, and she opened her golden mouth rare and shouted, "Master."

"Good morning." Wender smiled and said hello to her, and then looked at the girl who was still lying quietly on the bed. "Has she not woke up yet?" Seeing that the huntress nodded silently, he continued, "I'm lucky you, eat something before resting?"

Wende walked to the living room and searched in the refrigerator there. He said that the food reserves here were much more than what he actually had. I really don’t know when they were brought in.

He found an apple in the refrigerator and took it outside and swayed it, "Is this OK?"

The huntress nodded and said yes, and Wind turned to the can of canned lunch meat again, "What about the meat?"

Experiments have proved that the huntress had no food at all, but it was really much better than her mount. The black panther who was damn playing with basketballs as toys in the living room was completely ignored by lunch meat with a starch content than meat content - until Wende found more than a pound of frozen meat for it from the refrigerator, the big cat nodded reluctantly.

Wende started to cook breakfast for the huntress. As a man who has lived in high school until now, his cooking skills are reasonable. There is no need to make it too complicated in the morning. Eggs and lunch slices are fried separately, and with milk, the cereal is also rich.

He was busy in the kitchen, and the fragrance of his index fingers quickly filled the room.

It might just be a coincidence that when Winder puts breakfast in front of the huntress, he does hear some slight movement coming from the bedroom.

I walked to the door with a strange look and saw the girl who had been sleeping for a long time, swaying to raise her upper body, looking around in confusion. She heard Wende's footsteps and looked at her eyes.

The two hatchbacks looked at each other, and the girl was stunned for a moment, "You are-" she just reacted, "Thank you for saving me."

The girl obviously remembered her experience of being knocked out by Wind, but she understood that without mentioning it. She just thanked her repeatedly and struggled to get out of bed.

But she was recovering from serious injuries. Although the poison she suffered was unconsciously relieved by Wende's accidental attack, it was still a little late, and the toxins inevitably caused certain harm to her body.

This means that her body is actually very weak.

Just as she reluctantly sat upright by the bed, the girl followed her and couldn't help but fall into the ground ahead.

Fortunately, Wende was quick-eyed and quick-handed, so he quickly stepped forward to support her, which prevented the tragedy from happening.

Wende breathed a long sigh and vaguely blamed, "Your body has not been healed yet, please pay more attention!"

"I'm fine!" The girl kept struggling in his arms, "Didn't I tell you? I was chased by a powerful monster, and I will continue to stay here... it will cause you trouble!"

"Oh, are you talking about this?" Wende smiled disconcertedly, "Just rest assured, you can recover from your injuries here. All the monsters that chased you have been killed by me!"

"ah?"

The girl was quite surprised and forgot to struggle for a moment. She raised her head and looked up at his side in Wende's arms, "Are you serious?"

"Yes. Although there is a very powerful group of monsters that I chased for, I was lucky enough to kill him in the end." Wend explained, while taking the opportunity to stuff the girl back to the bed. The description of the fallen Roger had just begun, and his voice suddenly stopped and he stayed on the spot. Perhaps because the girl was struggling before, the cloth strips she used to tie her breasts fell off unconsciously. Now, most of her breasts are exposed to the air.

But this is not the main reason why Wende will be stunned. He has never lacked a woman's fate in his college years.

"Is this?" There was a trace of injury left on the inner heart of the girl's left chest. It was not particularly conspicuous, but it was also clearly visible from Wende's distance. He sighed in surprise, "What have you experienced before? You have suffered such an exaggerated and fatal injury..."

The girl then reacted and hurriedly covered her chest with her hands. Before Wende could push her, she rushed into the quilt. A blush appeared on her pretty face, and she explained in panic, "It's just an old injury that was a long time ago..." and she no longer spoke.

She seemed unwilling to talk about the past, and Wende could not force herself, so she could only sigh silently.

He felt the atmosphere was a little awkward, so he immediately changed the topic, "Are you hungry, right? I'll get you some food."

"I'm not hungry..." The girl was still shaking her head, but her stomach happened to ring.

This time, the girl's pretty face immediately became even redder.

Wende held back his laughter, "Please wait a moment."

By the time Wende brought the newly made breakfast to the bedroom, the girl had already stood on the ground again. Her body was still slightly shaking, and she was wearing clothes that Wende had placed by the bedside.

Seeing the thick blue plaid shirt appearing particularly loose on the girl's slender body, Wende said a little apologetically, "Sorry, I am the only one living here, I really can't prepare women's clothes for you."

"No, this is already good." The girl said quickly, and as Wende walked to the small table beside her. She was obviously hungry for a long time. Looking at the egg custard that Wende made for her, smelling the faint fragrance, her stomach started to scream again. The girl's face turned red again, but she did not eat immediately.

She raised her head, her expression slowly becoming serious, "Sir, you said you killed all the monsters chasing me. Is this true?"

Wender nodded and sat down on the stool opposite the girl.

It didn't seem like he was lying, but the girl was still very cautious about asking about the details.

The battle yesterday was indeed extremely dangerous, but it was really exciting. Wende had a little bit of fear when he started talking, and he was a little scared, but as the topic progressed, he gradually became proud.

Hearing Wind say that he killed a "mutated" Fallen Roger with bare hands.

While the girl was surprised, she finally couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

Paying attention to her expression, Wende asked with a smile, "You can feel at ease now, right?"

The girl did not respond, but suddenly lowered her head deeply to him. When Wende was unhappy, she spoke loudly, "I'm sorry! She actually dragged you into such a danger! If it were then-"

Before she finished speaking, Wende, who reacted, smiled and interrupted her Chen Ken's apology, "What are you talking about? This is my own choice. What does it have to do with you?"

"But, if it weren't for me, you're simply-"

The girl had to argue, but Wende didn't give her that opportunity at all, and kept saying, "You had reminded me at that time and asked me to leave, right? You also said that there was a dangerous place and there were monsters chasing you, right? You had told me about the situation at that time, and even though I knew this, I still made that choice... What does it have to do with you!"

The girl subconsciously felt that Wende was making a sophist, but she reacted a little for a moment, so she stopped arguing and just emphasized with a stubborn emphasis, "No matter what you say, these things are always caused by me!"

Wende also had a headache for her stubbornness. He sighed and decided to try another way, "Okay, let's think about it from a different perspective. If at that time, I really died in the hands of that fallen Roger, would you hate me?"

"I? Hate you?" The girl was completely unable to connect these two things.

Later, Wender reminded her, "You were knocked out by me at that time. If I were killed, you would definitely not be able to escape, right?"

The girl was stunned, and after a while, she said, "This is two different things. Even if you don't beat me... it will be difficult for me to save it from those pursuers--"

"But there will always be some opportunities, right?" Wender spread his hands. "In this regard, I did decide your life and death without authorization, right?"

"But you want to help me! You did save me!" The girl raised her voice and emphasized, "I understand this."

"You haven't thought about harming me. Am I alive well now... By the way, why do you have to apologize for what those monsters do?" Wende rubbed his eyebrows and suggested sincerely, "Let's go through the past like this. This matter is regarded as if we don't owe each other."

He heard the girl say "Thank you" again, and quickly pointed at her unreasonable and stressed, "That's it!" Thank God, the girl finally stopped pestering and apologizing or thanking for this.

Wende breathed a sigh of relief, and suddenly remembered something, "Speaking of it, I don't know your name yet. I am Wende, haven't asked for advice yet?"

"Sorry." The girl was silent for more than ten seconds and said. "I can't say... I can't say the reason either..."

"That's it..." Wende was embarrassed and asked the girl for her name but was rejected. She hadn't met such an experience for a long time. He scratched his cheek, guessing the reason that the girl could not say, and at the same time he asked hesitantly, "What about... what about the identity?"

Knowing that this question is a bit sensitive, he immediately added: "If you don't want to answer, you don't have to force it."

This time the girl did not hesitate, "I am different from you!"

"Is it different?" This means that the girl in front of her is not a human. Wende, who had speculation before, was not surprised when he heard the answer. He just kept looking at the girl in front of her, and only looked at her a little embarrassed and lowered her eyes slightly.
