Chapter 4 In the Snow

The night is dark.

Heavy snow, two people, and the dark monsters have begun to fight.

Flying snowflakes slid down next to the bone blade of Iroth, one after another. The bone knife pulled out an arc and slashed at the monster in front of him. The monster's face had no face or nose, and was flat, with only some holes, but felt the approaching of the fierce heat, and the monster did not flash but met.

The bone knife and the outer armor of the Xuechen Beast intersected, and violent sparks were generated. Ailos continued to use his right hand to pull away the armor that tear the monster. However, the Xuechen Beast swung the sharp claws, and Ailos could only dodge to the left. In the middle, an air burst overturned Xuechen at the foot of the Xuechen Beast, causing its feet to fall into the snow and unable to pursue again.

After a roll, Alos did not escape from the attack range of the Snow Dust Beast. Two Snow Dust Beasts approached him. He could only drag the white bone knife in his hand to continue to fight forward.

The shell of this Snow Dust Beast is too hard, and it will definitely not be too moving by conventional methods. So after Alos approached, he continued to search for some oil and other parts that could ignite on these Snow Dust Beasts, but his efforts did not work. His ignition ability could not penetrate the armor, and the two Snow Dust Beasts swung to capture it.

The claws of the two snow dust beasts were like thorns in the black woods. In addition to their sharp claws, they were also covered with sharp thorns, like a hedgehog shell. Alos did not dare to use a bone knife to resist and rolled continuously until he could not avoid it at the edge of the cliff, and then he raised the bone knife to block it in front of him.

The Snow Chen Beast slapped hard, and Elos felt a violent impact force, and his whole head was buzzing. The other one was gradually approaching. Before the other was snatched, Eloston shrank and fell to his feet with anger. Then he jumped with the force and dodged by the sharp arc-shaped barbs behind the Snow Chen Beast.

After landing steadily, Ailos raised his sword and slashed it down the edge of the barbarian on the back of the snow-monster. This time he felt the existence of flesh and blood.

There is indeed a gap in the shell of this snow dust monster!

After Elos cut a knife, he did not rush to do the follow-up action, but carefully identified the scar he cut out. However, his observation time was only one second. The Snow Dun Monster quickly turned around in pain, raised a squirt of snowflakes on his claws and spread around. The other one also slapped the snow layer and rushed towards him.

Airos exploded with a piping of snow, and the snowflakes exploded several meters in front of him. He flashed back and took a step back. Then the sound of bubbles continued to sound. He continued to leap up and rushed behind the snow-monster. The snow-monster raised his head and wanted to wave his claws to slap at the leaping Airos, but Airos snapped his fingers several times in the air, climbing up the height again, avoiding the attack.

After crossing the high point in the air, it began to fall. Airos' thumb passed through the other four fingers. The power of the ignition was directly pulled by him. A string of fire exploded. Airos, carrying the fire, started from the gap between the barbarians of the Snow Dust monster, pulled it backwards, and followed the observed spiritual line, shattering the outer shell of the Snow Dust monster.

The purple-red blood burst out directly. After losing the protection of the shell, the internal flesh and blood of the Snow Dun Beast could not stop the invasion of the fire blade. After Alos landed, he snatched his forehand and stabbed upwards, accurately stabbing the Snow Dun Beast's heart.

The knife was taken out and a snow dust beast had already fallen on the snow. The white snow curtain was covered, and the purple-red liquid flowed along the head of Ailos to his chest. His bone blade was burned and charred and walked towards the next one.

On the other side, Joey dragged the other four snow dust beasts alone, and her magic gloves accelerated her casting speed a lot, which allowed her to complete a whole elemental sequence and release magic in such an emergency.

In dealing with such monsters that have lived in cold areas for a long time, Joey's first idea was naturally flame magic. On her magic gloves, the amplification gem flashed green in the moonlight. She turned her hand and waved it, and a string of small firebirds flew out of her waving movements.

After these little firebirds hit the Snow Dust Beast, they all caused a violent explosion. The violent vibration exploded into snowflakes. The light smoke slowly rose. The Snow Dust Beast rushed out from behind the smoke, leaning on all sides, and its attack became even more fierce.

Joey had already prepared the second elemental sequence. The snow fired and a wall of fire was pulled out. The snow dust beasts continued to move forward regardless of the distance, and the distance was narrowed within five meters. Their sharp armor prevented the flame from continuing to invade.

Moving forward, then forward, the group of wild beasts ignored them at all. The huge running bodies spread snow dust into the curtains of the night sky. The stars were faintly shining, and the irregular mountains were in the empty distance.

Three meters, two meters...

As a spellcaster, being approached by melee units to this distance is basically in a very dangerous situation.

But Joey didn't choose to retreat. Even if the huge head of the Snow Dust Beast had reached her approach, she steadily pulled the last element sequence.

This is a smooth technique...

The snow dust beasts have the ability to walk on the flat ground on the snow, but under the violent running, their pace is obviously not as stable as before. A large amount of dust began to cover up their vision. At this time, a smoothing technique was added, and the result was... falling down directly.

The snow dust beast that rushed in front stepped on the smooth snow surface as a mirror. The four legs swung quickly, completely unsteady, and staggered and fell directly to Joey's back. The other three behind him were like it, too fast and couldn't grasp the ground. They all fell into the snow pile behind the side and fell into a ball.

Joey took this opportunity and hurriedly ran towards Elos. As a spellcasting unit, she had to ensure enough distance and leave enough casting time, otherwise she would have no combat power.

Taking advantage of the run, Joey also had time to observe the situation on Elos, but to her surprise, the battle on Elos had been completely resolved, the man holding the bone knife was covered with purple-black blood, and he did not rush to walk here.

Instead, he stayed in place and used a fine knife to deal with the corpse.

Joey didn't understand what his purpose was. Except for a few official extraordinary professions, the information about other extraordinary professions is extremely secretive, and it is necessary to have a small amount of records in some extremely special books.

The joys and sorrows of human beings are not connected. I am running wildly, and you are serving the corpse.

Joey didn't suffer too much on this issue. After all, she and Elos have only known each other for less than a day. Not to mention being a friend of life and death, they are not even considered friends.

Joey turned around, pursed his lips, continued to clear his thoughts, resumed meditation, and began to reorganize the spell sequence. The Snow Dust Beast had adjusted its pace. Although the smoothing technique just now was released very cleverly, it only brought some small trouble to them. After adjusting the state, their situation was still fierce.

The flame spell was confirmed to be useless. Joey searched for some of her own element sequences and found that there were three more magics that might be useful, but she only had time to release one of them now.

Joey's eyes were certain, and his hand wearing magic gloves flipped to her near. The element sequence was very long. After she meditated for about three seconds, she put down her hand and an air wall appeared in front of her. The air wall rose from the soil and blew away all the snow covers on the surface. The snow curtain exploded and rushed towards the snow dust beast.

The snow dust beast, like a heavy knight in the ancient century, was aroused by a fierce nature, except for charging, and reckless, whether it was a storm in front of or a blizzard.

Their huge bodies directly hit the air wall, and the strong wind surging from the ground began to tear their bodies. Each gust of wind blew like a tiny knife, piercing straight into the body of the snow-chen beast.

The wind is amorphous, and even the smallest gap, the airflow will penetrate into it. Joey is betting on the defense of this snow dust beast, not perfect.

Joey has no time to rearrange the element sequences, so now she can only stare at the Snow Dust Beast and see if the Wind Wall has harmed the monster.

Crossing this wall, purple-red blood splattered out, and the sharp wind cut the flesh and blood under the armor of the Snow Dun Beast from the gap. However, this sputtering did not reach the point where blood flowed like a pillar. It was just a slight damage, and it did not even bring much hysteresis to the Snow Dun Beast's actions.

They endured this brief and severe pain to stimulate the ferociousness. The dissipated wind airflow oozed out from all over their bodies, just as steam locomotives were dissipating heat, and the distance reached its limit in an instant.

Joey's heart was beating quickly, and her body instinctively wanted to escape backwards, but the Xuechen Beast had already rushed over, only half a meter away from her. She was about to be crushed into meat paste by this giant creature. At this moment, she felt that she had hit something. Before she could look up, a bone knife was pressed on the Xuechen Beast's forehead. The blade quickly broke the armor and penetrated it straight into the Snowchen Beast's hardest head.

The bone knife was pulled out and blood rushed out. The Snow Dust Beast armor, which was harder than steel, was now like paper, stabbed by Elos with a knife. Joey looked up in shock and saw Elos' bearded chin and his iconic round windproof eyes.

"Now, I'll perform for you, killing the monsters with the wind with one sword."

Alos rushed into the battle formation of the Snow Dust Beast and blocked the three Snow Dust Beasts' way.

Joey seemed a little confused. Elos suddenly rushed out and rescued her, then said something strange that he couldn't understand, and ran to the front of all the monsters.

What does this person want to do? One fights three?

Joey thought it was a bit impossible, but emotionally she was still willing to believe that Elos could do it.

Elos jumped up from the ground, and in Joey's sight, he began to change his position in the air with constant explosions of air, like a piece of stones that kept jumping on the sea. He was carefully looking for the whereabouts. Since his position was higher than the distance of the claws of the Snow Dun Beast, the Snow Dun Beast could not actually attack him.

As he began to fall, Ailos landed accurately on the back of a snow dust beast on the left. His bone knife bent down along the back of the snow dust beast. Halfway through the journey, he turned hard and pulled out a large amount of flesh and armor fragments. The force he brought to make him successfully jump to the back of the next snow dust beast.

With the same technique, he used the sword from the back, and chewed the Snow Dust Beast completely, he used it as a springboard and jumped to the next target. This time, Alos deliberately added a few breaths to make himself jump higher, just in front of the last Snow Dust Beast. He compared the position and then directly raised the knife to fall. The descending kinetic energy made him directly pull the Snow Dust Beast from top to top, and a blood mark was drawn.

Elos landed on one knee, and the blood spurted out by the Snow Dust Beast was like a fallen waterfall, sprinkling purple-black praises for his final finish.

At this point, all the snow dust beasts died under the sword of Alos.

The wind was a little stronger, bringing snow all over the sky, the bright moon shining, the stars were dotted, and a trace of swimming light could be seen in the black clouds.

Elos returned in the wind and snow, spread his hands on his left and right, and then shook his hands. With his clothes splashed with purple and black liquid, Joey didn't know for a moment whether he should thank him solemnly or laugh directly.

"Thank you." When Elos approached, Joey thanked him seriously.

"No need to thank me, we are just a cooperative relationship and help each other."

"But you weren't quite scared just now, but now it's again..."

"Have you heard a proverb? Fear comes from the unknown. As long as I dissect it once, I can fully understand the weaknesses of this creature."

"So you just now?" Joey recalled the previous scene.

"Yes, you completed the cover mission well, so you really don't have to thank me, you have made contributions."

"Then there is one thing I don't know if I should ask."

"You want to say, what are the weaknesses of these monsters? This is nothing to tell you. Every creature has a spiritual line. If you find the spiritual line, you can grasp the operating mechanism of his body's energy. Monsters with hard shells like Snow Dust Beast need to concentrate energy to maintain the defense of the shells. I remember the key nodes of their spiritual line. As long as they try to defend, they can break them one by one from point to surface."

"Oh." Joey nodded and pulled her collar. For the first time, she felt that there were really many things in this world that she didn't know.
