Chapter 18 The Second Attack

Section 1

Soren didn't return to Slytherin's common room until midnight. Isabella and Ibikos were sitting on the sofa by the fireplace. When they saw Soren, they both stood up.

"Your Highness," said Ibikos respectfully, with some inexplicable excitement on his face, "Isabella told me about the evening."

Sauron shook his head, "I'm afraid you'll be disappointed, Ibikos." He looked at Ibikos and looked at Isabelle again, "I'm not a snake."

Ibikos smiled, "If you are a snake, it's just an extra small surprise. Even if you are not, you are still our Highness Sauron."

Isabella didn't say anything, but her eyes looked at Sauron with the same trust and worship as ever.

"But I'm still a little curious. Since you are Harry's twin brother, it's a bit strange that you are not a snake-god." Ibikos said, noticing that Sauron's expression was a little complicated, as if he realized something, he frowned and asked carefully, "Is Harry's snake-god not passed on from his bloodline..."

Sauron nodded helplessly, his face a little ugly.

"Sorry, Your Highness." Ibikos said apologetically, and Sauron waved his hand to express that he didn't care.

Isabella looked a little confused when she looked at the two of them, but she realized that something bad seemed to have happened, so she changed the subject and said, "The Slytherins were talking about it after they came back in the evening. Ibikos and I thought this might cause unnecessary trouble, so Ibikos just seriously warned everyone not to talk too much."

Ibikos nodded, "Although the warning cannot change their views, it can at least reduce rumors."

After hearing this, Sauron rubbed his forehead, "You did a good job, but no matter what the students think, it will bring some minor trouble at best. What we really want to solve is the heir."

The next day, Sauron and Harry seemed to be the focus of the students' discussion. Hufflepuff's students seemed to have identified Harry as the heir. At the duel club party that day, he wanted to instigate the poisonous snake to bite Justin Finlieri to death. No matter where Harry goes, the students always pointed at him; while Ravenclaw and Slytherin's students seemed to be more inclined to Sauron opened the secret room, but few students dared to point at Sauron, and the Slytherin became more respectful to Sauron.

"I'm so confused. I'd tell Harry Potter that I went to Eton school," a boy talked to the person next to me. Soren could hear it was Justin Finlieri, who was talking to his Hufflepuff classmates. "I guess if there weren't many people there, I'd probably let the snake bit my head off. I didn't expect that he would be an evil snake guy."

Soren frowned, but wisely did not walk over, as it would only deepen the misunderstanding. He glanced at the group of students coldly, which made Justin and others shudder for no reason. They looked up around and saw only Sauron's back as he left. Isabella looked at them contemptuously, and turned around and rushed towards Sauron.

"Silly Hufflepuff." Isabella said angrily next to Sauron.

"There is no need to pay attention to them. There will always be such blind mediocre people." Sauron said calmly, and he looked at Isabella. "Isabella, quarreling with their mediocre people means nothing, and will only make us mediocre."

"You are right, Your Highness." Isabella said, "By the way, Your Highness, have you spent Christmas in school?"

Sauron nodded. He originally wanted to go to France to see Furong, but that day Fobertol brought Furong's letter, which included several photos of her. In the photos, Furong smiled happily, and her blue eyes looked particularly beautiful. She said in the letter that she had changed her plan and would stay in Boothbaton for Christmas this year. In addition, Hogwarts left the secret room again, Sauron was worried about leaving Harry alone at school, so he decided to stay.

Thinking of Furong, the beautiful girl like an elf, and thinking of the short and relaxed time when she was with her, a smile couldn't help but appear on Sauron's face. Isabella looked at Sauron and showed an inexplicable look.

Unlike Soren's indifference to rumors, Harry was extremely upset about this. In fact, Harry was in a bad mood not only because he was mistaken for attacking Justin, but also because of his uneasiness with his brother Soren.

It was snowing outside, and the herbal lessons that were originally arranged were cancelled. Thick and dark snowflakes were dancing in the sky, and the castle seemed particularly dark. Harry decided to go to Justin to explain the matter clearly. He guessed that Justin might be tutoring his homework when he had no classes, so he went to the library to look for it.

In the back row of the library, there were a group of Hufflepuff students who were supposed to take herbal classes, but it seemed that they were not reviewing their homework. Harry stood between the high bookshelf and could see their heads gathered together, as if talking about an interesting topic. He could not see whether Justin was among them. He was about to walk towards them, suddenly, a few words of their words floated into his ears. He stopped, hid in the invisible book area, and listened with his ears.

"So, no matter what," said a tall boy, "My name is Justin hiding in our dormitory. I mean, if the Potter brothers were sure to get him out, he would better hide for the time being. Of course, Justin had expected this to happen since he accidentally told Harry Potter that he was a natural muggle. Justin even told them that he had attended Eton and that he could not be said casually about the descendants of Slytherin, not to mention that he had been irritated by more than a little bit of annoyance this morning."

"So, Ernie, can you be sure that it's the Porter brothers?" asked an anxious girl with a golden ponytail.

"Hannah," said the big boy seriously, "Harry Potter is a snake-like accent. Everyone knows that this is the symbol of a dark wizard. Have you ever heard of any decent wizard who can talk to a snake? They call Slytherin himself Snake Yutong. What's more, his brother, Sauron Potter, is Slytherin, and I guess he must be Snake Yutong."

After hearing this, everyone started to talk in a low voice. Ernie continued, "Remember what was written on the wall? 'Be alert for those who are enemies with the heirs.' Harry Potter had a fight with Felch, and soon we learned that Felch's cat was killed. The freshman Clivi was always pestering Harry Potter. The Potter brothers were so annoyed by him that he annoyed Harry Potter in the Quidditch game, and took photos of him while he was lying in the mud. We then learned that Clivi was also killed."

"However, Harry always looks so friendly, and the Saurons are not bad either, not as arrogant and domineering as other Slytherins," Hannah said hesitantly. "Also, by the way, Harry made the mysterious man disappear. He could not be so bad, right?" Ernie lowered his voice mysteriously, and the Hufflepuffs got closer, and Harry moved closer so that he could hear Ernie's words clearly.

"No one knows how the two brothers survived when they were attacked by mysterious people. I mean, when that happened, they were babies. They should have been blown into pieces. Only the black wizard with great power could escape such a spell." His voice was even lower, almost like a whisper. He said: "It is probably because of this that the mysterious man wanted to kill them first. He didn't want another pair of 'devils' to compete with him. I don't know if the Potter brothers had any other magic to hide from everyone. What's more..." Ernie paused and said seriously: "I heard from Ravenclaw's people that Slytherin's students respect Sauron Porter very much, and Harry Potter is very popular with the Gryffindors. Maybe the two brothers are planning some conspiracy to eliminate those who resist them, so as to secretly control Hogwarts..."

Harry couldn't listen anymore. He cleared his throat and walked out from the back of the bookshelf. If he hadn't felt so angry, he would have found that the scene in front of him was very funny: when he saw him, every Hufflepuff was stunned, and Ernie's face suddenly disappeared.

"Hello," said Harry, "I'm looking for Justin Finlieri." The Hufflepuff students' biggest concern was clearly confirmed. They all looked at Ernie in horror.

"What are you doing for him?" Ernie asked in a trembling voice.

"I want to tell him what the hell was going on in the duel club," Harry said.

Ernie bit her pale lips, then took a deep breath and said, "We were all there at the time. We saw what happened."

"So have you noticed that after I spoke to the snake, he retreated?" Harry was a little angry.

"I only see," Ernie said stubbornly, although his whole body shook, "you speak in a snake-like voice, urging the snake to attack Justin."

"I didn't urge the snake to attack him!" Harry trembled with anger, "The snake didn't even touch him!"

"It's almost a little bit." Ernie said, "if you want to make a decision," he said in a hurry. "I might as well tell you that you can go back to our nine generations of wizards, and my bloodline is as pure as anyone, so-"

"I don't care what kind of blood you have!" Harry said furiously, "Why should I attack Muggles?"

"I heard you hate those who live with you..." Ernie said suddenly and his face turned pale.

Harry turned around and Sauron stood behind him, scanning the Hufflepuffs' people expressionlessly. He patted Harry on the shoulder, "There is no need to argue with them, Harry."

Seeing that it was Sauron, Harry's mood stabilized, but the expression on his face was a little complicated. Sauron didn't say anything and turned around and left. Harry looked at Ernie hatefully and followed.

Sauron walked in front without saying anything, Harry hesitated for a long time, "Soron, well, do you speak snakes?"

Sauron stopped, his back to Harry, and after a long time, he slowly said, "As long as you know, I am your brother, I will never hurt you." After that, he strided away.

Harry stood there firmly, looking at Sauron's back, thinking about Sauron's words.

"Hey, Harry. Why are you standing here in a daze?" A rough voice came, bringing Harry back to his senses.

"Oh, hello, Hagrid." Harry said, looking up.

Hagrid's face was covered with a snowflake-filled wool helmet hat, but it could not be someone else except him, because the body in a mole-skinned top almost completely filled the corridor. One of his big gloves was carrying a dead cock in his hand.

"Okay? Harry?" he said, pulling his helmet cap up so he could speak, "Why aren't you going to class?"

"Cancel." Harry said, "What are you here to do?"

Hagrid lifted the soft cock. "It's the second one to be killed this semester," he explained, "either a fox or a bloodsucking monster. I need the principal to allow me to cast a spell around the chicken stocking."

He looked at Harry more carefully with his eyes under his thick eyebrows that were selling snowflakes.

"Are you really okay? Your face looks bad."

Harry thought about it and did not express his words and doubts about Sauron just now.

"Nothing." He said, "I have to go, Hagrid, the next section is a transformation class, I have to get my book."

He walked away, thinking about Ernie's words in his mind—"Justine had always expected such a thing to happen since he accidentally let the Porter brothers say he was a natural muggle..."

Harry stepped up the stairs heavily and turned to another corridor. The light was very dim, a piece of window glass loosened, and a fierce wind blew in, extinguishing the torch. Halfway through, he was suddenly tripped by something lying on the floor.

Justin Finlieri was lying on the floor, cold and stiff, a terrified expression frozen on his face, his eyes staring at the ceiling dumbly. This was not the end, there was a character next to him, and Harry had never seen such a bizarre scene.

It was Nick who almost lost his head. He was no longer milky and transparent, but became black and smoky, lying motionlessly suspended six inches from the ground. His head fell halfway, and his face was exactly the same as Justin's expression of horror.

Harry quickly stood up, breathing rapidly, his heart beating wildly, like a small drum hitting his chest. He looked around in the empty corridor in a confused manner, and saw a line of spiders running away in a hurry. He could not hear any other sound, only the teacher's voice came from the classroom on the other side of the corridor.

Harry stood there, panicked. At this moment, a door beside him was slammed open, and the prank-like ghost rushed out.

"Ah, it turns out it's Potter from Gryffindor!" Pipig giggled, jumping past Harry, knocking his glasses tilted. "What is Potter doing? Why is Potter sneaking-"

Pipi Ghost flipped halfway through the hollow and suddenly stopped moving. He looked down and saw Justin and Nick who was almost headless. He quickly stood up straight and took a deep breath. Before Harry could stop him, he screamed in his throat: "Do it! Start it! Start it again! Whether it is a human or a ghost, it is not spared! Run away quickly! Start it--Do!"

"Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang, the doors in the corridor were pushed open one after another, and people flocked out. During those difficult minutes, the scene was extremely chaotic. Justin was in danger of being squeezed flat, and people kept standing in the body of Nick who was almost headless. The teachers shouted loudly to maintain order. Professor McGonagall ran all the way, followed by the students in her class, one of whom had black and white hair. Professor McGonagall knocked with his magic wand, and everyone suddenly became quiet. She ordered everyone to return to their classroom. The people had just dispersed, and Ernie of Hufflepuff arrived at the scene panting.

"Catch it on the spot!" Ernie's face turned pale, and pointed his finger at Harry dramatically, and shouted loudly.

"Enough, Ernie!" Professor McGonagall said sternly.

The Pipi Ghost floated over the head, looking down at the whole scene. At this time, he grinned and showed a smirk. The Pipi Ghost was always afraid that the world would not be in chaos. When the teachers bent down to check Justin and Nick who was almost headless, the Pipi Ghost suddenly sang: "Oh, Potter, you annoying guy, look at the good things you did, you killed the student, you thought it was very interesting to you-ah!"

A green light hit Pipi Ghost. Pipi Ghost let out a painful scream, and smoke rose all over his body as if burned by flames. It quickly passed through the ceiling and disappeared. The people present looked behind Harry in surprise or horror. Soren was standing there with no expression on his face, holding a wand in his hand. Ernie looked at Soren with a blood-colored face; Professor McGonagall tightly pursed his lips, looked at Soren with a complicated expression, and finally said: "Mr. Potter, be careful not to cast spells in the corridor next time, otherwise I will lose points."

Sauron nodded apologetically.

Justin was carried to the hospital ward by Professor Flivie and Professor Sinista of the Department of Astronomy, but Nick, who was almost headless, made it difficult for those present to deal with it. Finally, Professor McGonagall turned out to be a big fan out of thin air, handed it to Ernie, and told him to fan Nick up the stairs. Ernie did as he did, fanning Nick forward like a soundless black hovercraft. Only Harry, Sauron and McGonagall were left in the corridor.

"Come with me, Harry," she said.

"Professor," Harry said quickly, "I swear I didn't-" He looked at Sauron as if he wanted help.

"It's okay, Harry." Sauron said comfortingly, turning to Professor McGonagall, "I'll leave the professor first."

Professor McGonagall nodded and said to Harry gently: "Don't be nervous."

They turned a corner silently and stopped in front of an extremely ugly huge stone monster.
