Chapter 53: The Night of Chaos(1/2)

Section 1

In the evening, Harry and the other two came to Hagrid's hut wearing invisibility cloaks. The sun had already set behind the Forbidden Forest, and the afterglow was shining on the treetops.

They walked to Hagrid's hut and knocked on the door. After a while, Hagrid opened the door.

"It's us," Harry whispered, "we're wearing invisible clothes. Let's go in and we can take off the invisible clothes."

"Thank you," Hagrid whispered, he looked sad and had a messy beard. He took a step back and let Harry and the others walk in. Hagrid quickly closed the door, and Harry pulled off the invisible clothes.

"Drink tea?" he said, reaching for the teapot, his big hands trembling.

"Where is Buckbeck, Hagrid?" Hermione asked hesitantly.

"I...I took it outside just now." Hagrid sighed, splashing the table as he poured the milk into the jar. "Tie it with a rope to my pumpkin field. I think it should look at the trees and...breathe fresh air, and when it is taken to the Magical Biological Prison, I'm afraid I won't see these again."

Harry looked at Ron, and Ron looked at Harry helplessly.

"Would anyone come up with anything, Hagrid?" Harry asked anxiously, sitting next to him. "Dumbledore--"

"He tried," Hager said, "he didn't have the power to control the committee. He told them that Buckbeek was not dangerous, but they were a bunch of old stubborns, and that they had a bad relationship with Dumbledore."

"Don't think too badly about things." Hermione said hesitantly, "Buckbeck is just locked up and will not be in danger of life. Maybe it still has a chance to be released..."

Hagrid shook his head and breathed a sigh of relief. "You don't understand that a proud creature like the Eagle Horse can't survive once it's locked in a cage. It was me who harmed Buckbeck and it was a mistake to bring him to class..."

Harry and the other two were stunned. Only then did they understand the seriousness of the matter. Looking at Hagrid, who was sad and blamed, the three of them felt very uncomfortable.

"That's not your fault, Hagrid," said Hermione, but Hagrid shook his thick and fluffy head.

"Forget it, go and see Buckbeck." Hager whispered, "See it for the last time and leave, don't let Dumbledore or Fudge meet you, you should stay in the castle at this time by the rules."

Hermione shed tears silently, but in order not to let Hagrid see, she turned around and flipped through the candy canister on the cabinet. Suddenly, she screamed.

"Ron! I-I don't believe it-that's a patch!"

Ron looked at her in amazement.

"What are you talking about?"

Hermione took the candy jar to the table and turned it upwards. Scarlet screamed in panic. She struggled to get back into the jar, but she slid down onto the table.

"Spark!" Ron shouted blankly, "Spark, what are you doing here?" He grabbed the struggling rat and lifted it to a place with light. Spark looked embarrassed, thinner than before, with large amounts of fur falling off, leaving behind bare skin. It twisted in Ron's hand, as if desperately trying to get freedom.

"It's okay, spots!" said Ron, "No cats! Nothing here will hurt you!"

Hagrid suddenly stood up and stared at the window. His face turned rosy, but now it turned into a parchment-like color.

"They are here, and it seems that yours will leave right away." Hagrid said in a stern voice, and he opened the back door, "Go, hurry up."

Harry and the other two followed him to the door leading to the back garden, and Harry felt as if he was in a dream. When he saw Buckbeck who was a few yards away, the feeling became even stronger. Buckbeck was tied behind a tree in Hagrid's pumpkin field. Buckbeck seemed to know something was going to happen, and it turned its head around and still grabbed the ground with its paws uneasily.

"It's OK, Bick," said Hegel gently. "It's OK..." He turned to Harry, Ron and Hermione, "Go, go quickly."

But Harry and the others didn't move. "Hagge, we can't-" "We're going to tell them the reality." "They can't take it away!"

"Go!" Hagrid said furiously, "If you are in trouble, things will be worse!"

Harry and the other two had no choice but to put on their invisible cloaks. Banyan kept screaming. In order not to let Dumbledore and the others notice, Harry and the others had to leave.

They turned toward the castle and walked slowly so that all three of them could hide in the invisible cloak. Now the light passed quickly. By the time they reached the open ground, darkness had already descended around them like a spell.

"Baibian, don't move." Ron whispered, his hand stroking his chest. The mouse was struggling wildly. Ron suddenly stopped and tried to force Baibian to stay deeper in his pocket. "You stupid mouse, what's wrong with you? Don't move-oh! It bites me!"

Banban was obviously frightened, and it struggled to break free from Ron's hands.

"What's wrong with it?" But Harry just saw that Mount Crucker sneaked towards them, leaning down on the ground, his yellow eyes glowing strangely in the darkness. It could see them, or it heard the screams coming, and Harry couldn't tell what was going on.

"Crook Hill!" Hermione sighed, "Don't come, go away. Crook Hill! Go away!" But the cat walked closer.

"Spots-don't!" It was too late - the mouse slid out of Ron's fingers and fell to the ground and ran away. Crook Mountain jumped and chased after him. Harry and Hermione didn't have time to stop him. Ron had already thrown the invisible clothes aside and ran into the darkness.

Ron had just caught Spotted again when a large black dog slowly walked out of the darkness.

"It's ominous." Harry was stunned for a moment and shouted immediately, "Ron, be careful."

But it was still too late. As soon as Harry's wand was pulled out, he was pounced on by a big black dog. Then he passed over the frightened Hermione and dragged Ron into the hole under the willow of beating people like a doll.

Harry and Hermione wanted to follow and save Ron, but the note that the Beater Willow whipped wildly prevented them from moving forward. Surprisingly, Crook Hill flexibly into the tree hole, and after it pressed a scar joint, Beater Willow calmed down.

Harry and Hermione followed Crook Hill into the tree hole. To their surprise, there was a long black tunnel below. Harry and Hermione followed the cat and finally, they came to a shabby wooden house that seemed to have not been there for a long time - the screaming house in Hogsmeade Village. There, they found the injured Ron.

"Ron--Are you okay?"

"Where did that dog go?"

"Not a dog." Ron moaned. His teeth were clenched due to the pain. "Harry, this is a trap..."

"What--?"

"He's that dog...he's an Animagus..."

Ron looked at Harry's shoulder. Harry turned around quickly. With a snap, the man in the shadow closed the door behind them.

A filthy, tangled hair drooped to his elbows; if the eyes hidden in the deep and dark sockets did not glow, he might be a corpse; waxy skin clung to the skeleton on his face, looking like a skull. He grinned with yellow teeth, it was Sirius Black.

"Give up your weapons!" he said hoarsely, pointing Ron's wand at them. Harry and Hermione's wand both flew high up in the air and were caught by Black. Then he took a step forward. He stared at Harry.

"I think you will come to help your friends." Black's voice was hoarse, as if he hadn't spoken for a long time, "Your father would treat me like this. You are so brave and didn't go to the teacher. I'm grateful... It's much easier to do this..."

Harry's ears echoed his words of ridicule his father, as if Black had just shouted out loud. Harry's chest was filled with hatred, so there was no place for fear to stay. For the first time in his life, he longed for the wand to return to his hands, not to defend himself, but to attack...kill. He rushed forward, not knowing what he was going to do, but he had sudden movements on both sides, and grabbed him with both hands and dragged him back.

"No. Harry!" Hermione whispered to him in fear. However, Ron spoke to Black.

"If you want to kill Harry, you want to kill us too!" he said furiously, although the forceful movement of standing up had made his face pale, and people were shaking a little when he spoke. Something was flashing in Black's dark eyes.

"Lying down," he said to Ron calmly, "you're going to hurt that leg even harder."

"Have you heard me?" Ron said weakly, even though he could stand up straight after he grabbed Harry in pain. "I want to move Harry unless I step over our bodies!"

"There will only be one murder here tonight," Black said, his smile getting stronger.

"Why?" Harry spat, trying to break away from Ron and Hermione. "I didn't care last time, didn't you? I could kill so many Muggles without caring in order to get the little dwarf Peter... In Azkaban, what's the point?"

"Harry!" Hermione sobbed, "quiet!"

"He killed my parents!" Harry roared, and struggled hard, breaking free from the constraints of Ron and Hermione and rushed forward. He forgot about magic, he forgot that he was short and thin, only thirteen years old, and Black was a tall adult. At this time, his heart was filled with hatred and desire for revenge. Harry and Black wrestled together, and Ron and Hermione rushed to help. After a chaotic fight and struggle, Harry took back his wand, raised it high, and pointed it at Black.

"You killed my parents," Harry said, his voice trembling slightly, but he could not hide his cold murderous intent.

Black stared at Harry with his deep eyes.

"I don't deny that," he said calmly, "but if you know the whole story-"

"All inside story?" Harry repeated, with a fierce thrust in his ears. "You betray them to Voldemort, that's all inside story I have to know!"

"You must listen to me," said Blake, now there was an urgent tone in his voice, "If you can't - don't understand - you will regret it."

"I know more than you think," Harry said, his voice trembling even more. "My father sacrificed himself to block Voldemort! My mother begged to exchange my brother and I for his death! My brother is carrying sin and pain that can never be eliminated because of you, and your damn master!" Harry shouted angrily, "Now, it's all over, go to hell!"

"Don't, Harry, you can't..." Hermione and Ron shouted.

Before they could say anything else, a ginger thing ran over Harry; Crook Hill jumped to Black's chest, squatting there and not leaving, staying in his heart. Black blinked and looked down at the cat.

"Go away." He murmured, trying to push away Mount Crook.

But Crook Hill inserted his paws deep into Black's robe and did not move. It turned its ugly face to Harry and looked at him with his big yellow eyes. To his left, Hermione sobbed.

Harry glared at Black and Crook Mountain, and the wand was grabbed even tighter. A strong desire surged out from Harry's heart, killing the people in front of him and killing all enemies. This desire was so strong that Harry's breathing became heavier, and the hand holding the wand was trembling slightly. He could feel the power gathering, and with just one thought, he could kill the people and cat in front of him.

Suddenly there was a new sound—the sound of low footsteps echoed on the floor—someone was walking downstairs.

"We're here!" Hermione suddenly shouted, "We're here-Sirius Black--quick!"

Black was shocked and moved, and Crook Mountain was almost shaken down; Harry grabbed the wand in a spasm - and fucked now! There was a voice in his mind that was saying - but the thunderous footsteps came up, and Harry still didn't do anything.

The door of the room was knocked open in a spark. Harry turned around quickly. At this time, Luhu crashed into the room, his face was bloodless, and his wand was held, ready at any time. His eyes flashed and passed by Ron and Hermione who were lying on the floor, then shivered and swept through the door and passed by Harry. At this time, Harry was still standing there to designate Black with his wand, and then his eyes swept to Black. At this time, Black collapsed and bleeding at Harry's feet.

"Give up your weapons!" Lupin shouted.

Harry's wand flew away from his hands again, and the two that Hermione had held were the same. Lupin grabbed the three wands quickly, then walked into the room, staring at Black, and Mount Crucker was still squatting on his chest to protect him...

Harry San was still surprised. Lupin pulled Black who was lying on the ground, and the two hugged him like friends. This made Harry and the other three almost collapsed. Ron and Hermione questioned Lupin in disbelief, and Harry, the hatred and murderous intent that had just been extinguished, exploded even more violently.

"I trust you," he shouted at Lupin, his voice trembling out of control, "and you have always been his friend!" "You are wrong," Lupin said. "For twelve years, I've not been Black's friend, but I'm now... Let me explain."

"No!" Hermione screamed, "Harry, don't believe him. He has been helping Black into the castle, and he wants you to die too-he

It's a werewolf!"

Ron wanted to stand up again, but failed, and snorted in pain and fell down again. Lupin walked towards him with a very concerned look, but Ron panted and said, "Leave me, werewolf!" Lupin stopped and did not move. Then, he obviously made some efforts before turning to Hermione and said, "How long have you known?"

"It's been a long time," Hermione whispered, "after I did the paper assigned by Professor Snape..."

"He will be happy," Lupin said coldly, "he arranged that paper, hoping that anyone among you will understand what my symptoms mean. Have you looked at the moon's profit and loss table and knew that I always got sick at the full moon? Or did you know that Boggot saw me and turned into a silver ball-the moon?"

"Both things are." Hermione said calmly. Lupin forced a smile. "As far as I know, you are the smartest witch in your age, Hermione."
