Darkness Comes Heart Eclipse

"Who are you?" Chris looked vigilantly at the strange baby in front of him. Under the pale moonlight, the baby's pupils, like a blade, and the blood and tears flowing out of his eyes were clear and terrifying.

The baby didn't say anything. He stared at Chris coldly, and there was no trace of human emotion in his eyes. After a while, the corners of his mouth bent slightly, looking like a cold and cruel smile.

Chris couldn't help feeling a chill, as if his whole body was sliding into the cold water. It seemed that someone was constantly whispering in his ears. At the same time, all kinds of cruel and bloody memories on the battlefield in the past kept popping up in his mind - those sacrificing comrades, those slaughtered civilians, the broken corpses and blood... Someone was screaming and wailing, and the shrill voice seemed to tear open his head. Chris felt that he was dominated by some strong emotions - anger, hatred, and desire to kill.

Chris couldn't help but kneel down to the ground, keeping himself as awake as possible. He vaguely realized that he could not be controlled by these terrible emotions. He struggled to raise his head, and saw the baby standing in front of him, staring at him quietly, like a snake watching his prey.

"Chris...Chris..." A hoarse and strange voice came, whispering in his ears.

Chris felt like he was going crazy, his consciousness was getting blurry, he realized what he had to do - the baby was not far from him, Chris was sure to control him, and then twisted his neck. Chris arched and pressed his hand on the ground, even such a simple movement made him feel extremely difficult. He stared at the baby with his increasingly blurry eyes, strangely, he could still feel the cold smile on his face, which looked so abominable.

"Go to die!" Chris roared, and rushed out at the same time. When his hands held the weak and cold neck, he knew that he had succeeded. Now, as long as he strangled it hard, he could kill him.

"Chris...Chris..." It was the hoarse voice again, and now it sounded weak and panicked.

Chris tightened his hands tightly, and he could feel the guy struggling, helplessly. It felt so good, like something that had been suppressed for a long time was released.

"Chris..." The voice became weaker and weaker, Chris' breathing became rapid, and a hideous smile appeared quietly on his face.

"Die—Die—" Chris shouted, his hands getting stronger and stronger.

"Bang!" Chris suddenly felt a sharp pain on his head, then his eyes turned dark and he fainted.

After a while, Chris woke up. He felt a headache and was drowsy, as if someone had given him a fierce look. He sat up slowly and looked around. He was lying on a bed, and the dim candlelight made him feel a little dazzling. On the sofa beside the bed, Claire, Joanna and Ota were sitting there. Noting that Chris woke up, the few stood up and looked at him nervously.

"What happened..." Chris rubbed his head and got out of bed.

"Stand there!" Claire said stiffly, and the other two looked at him with complicated expressions.

"What does it mean?" Chris asked in confusion, walking towards Chrysl, "I don't understand..."

Before Chris could finish his words, Claire made a surprise move, holding his pistol in both hands and pointing the muzzle at him.

"Hey! Hey! Are you crazy? What are you doing?" Chris stopped and looked at his sister nervously. He slowly raised his hands and frowned and said, "What happened? I am Chris. Don't you remember, I am your brother!"

"You don't remember, don't remember what you did just now?" Joanna asked worriedly.

"What did I do?" Chris looked at Joanna and asked in confusion. "I had a headache, and my mind was like a mucus."

"Don't you remember?" Joanna glanced at Claire, and the little girl looked at Chris alertly, but lowered her gun a little. Joanna took a deep breath and looked at Chris slowly said, "You almost strangled Claire just now."

Chris was shocked and looked at Claire uneasy, who looked at him in the eyes, hesitated for a while, and slowly lowered his gun, "You almost broke my neck just now."

Chris seemed to have lost his strength all of a sudden. He sat down on the bed and looked at his hands in disbelief. He remembered the baby, those terrible eyes, the feeling of falling into madness, and he recalled everything he had just experienced. Chris understood that what he had just tried to kill was not the baby, but his sister. Yes, he almost killed his sister with his own hands, which made him feel chill all over.

"Chris, what happened?" Joanna hesitated for a moment and said slowly, "You suddenly fainted, and then began to spasm and howl. We tried to help you, but you suddenly grabbed Claire and pinched her neck like crazy..." Joanna looked at Chris, "and I smashed you out with a vase."

"I fell into some kind of hallucination, I saw..." Chris said in a deep voice, "I saw a baby with snake-like eyes, like 'Sherry', and he made me into some kind of crazy."

"So you attacked me?" Claire asked.

"No," Chris shook his head, "I tried to kill him, I thought I was attacking him, but in fact I almost killed you." He looked up at his sister, "I'm sorry, I can't imagine if I really..."

Chris didn't say anything, and the few people were silent. Chris's words made everyone feel frightened and uneasy. Claire looked at his brother, walked slowly to him, and said comfortingly: "That's not your fault, I don't blame you."

"What should we do next?" Joanna asked worriedly, she looked at Ota. The female psychic looked much better now, but still looked weak.

"If I guessed right," Ota said slowly, "it is trying to invade the world, through the girl." She walked to the window and looked at the sky worriedly, "I could feel that its power became stronger."

"We have to stop it," Chris said, still feeling scared when he thought of the terrible power.

"It will do something again." Ota thought for a while and said, "The more people the girl killed, the stronger its power will be until it can descend into this world." She looked at the people present, with fear on her face, "Everything here will be pulled into hell..."

Chris and the others were stunned. Chris frowned tightly, and then he took out his cell phone, "If this is true, we must notify the police and we must evacuate the people here."

"I'm afraid it's too late..." Ota said with a wry smile, with despair in his voice.

Chris shook his head and called the police station. After a while, the phone was answered, and a lazy voice came from the other end of the phone.

"Hello, this is the police station. Is there any situation?" said a male voice, exuding impatientness.

"Someone was killed, and others were in danger," Chris said seriously. "Another very dangerous guy is in this town."

"Someone was killed? Please tell me more details and we will deal with it immediately." When the murder case was heard, the people over there became nervous, "Who are you and where did the murder case happen?"

"Hey, listen, the situation is a bit complicated." Chris felt it was hard to explain what had just happened, and he couldn't even be absolutely sure if what he saw was true, "There was a man killed, in a room."

"Can you explain the specific location?" the police asked. "When did you find it? Are you on the scene now?"

Chris frowned and hesitated for a moment. He hung up the phone and looked at the others, "We go to the police station, we have to find the sheriff and talk to him in person."

Several people went downstairs together. Ota was originally unwilling to travel with him, but considering the possible dangers, Chris insisted that several people stay together. Chris' car parked downstairs. Fortunately, Chris' car was big enough, and it didn't seem crowded to hold four people and a big hound.

When they arrived at the police station, Chris saw several police cars parked outside the door. It seemed that there were many people in the police station. When several people walked into the police station, they saw the police chief named Swan, who was also there, and were talking to his subordinates in a rough voice. When they saw Chris and others, his face became very ugly.

"Why are you here?" Swan said with a dark face.

"We have to talk about something urgent," Chris said seriously.

Swan looked at Chris, then looked at Joanna and the other two behind him, hesitated and said, "Go to my office and say."

Several people followed Swan into his office. Swan stood behind his desk and asked impatiently: "What are you going to say."

"Listen, it sounds hard to believe when I'm here, but it does happen." Chris sorted out his thoughts and looked at Swan and said, "One other person was killed. In a room, that guy died miserably, and someone else was killed."

Swan was stunned, nervousness and fear appeared on his face, "It was you who called, how did you know someone was killed? Do you know who did it?"

"Yes." Chris stared at him and said slowly, "Devil."

"How could there be such a ridiculous thing when you go to the TMD Devil?" Swan shouted, but that could not hide the panic and fear in his heart. "Do you think I am a fool? Now, get out of my office, I'm fed up!"

"That guy has killed three people, and he almost killed my sister just now, and I'm pretty sure it will do it." Chris grabbed Swan's collar and said viciously, "Now, listen to me, you stupid pig, we must stop it."

Chris pushed, and Swan sat down in the chair. His breathing was rapid and his fat face was flushed. I don’t know if it was because of Chrisler or because of nervousness. After a long time, he spoke: “We found that corpse, which is an outsider. Now the corpse is in the morgue behind.”

"The fatal injury is on the chest, the unlucky guy. When we found him, he held the knife in one hand and the other..." Swan said this and couldn't help but pause. He shivered, looking frightened, "Hold his heart...that guy, he took out his heart."

Chris gasped, even though he had seen the scene through Ota's ceremony.

"Chief, can you come?" A policeman pushed open the office door.

"I'll come." Swan said, and he looked at Chris and got up to leave.

Chris pulled him and said seriously, "Listen, it will do it, and in fact, I think you should evacuate the residents here."

"Are you crazy when evacuating residents?" Swan shook his head and said, "What reason do you think this is a fire drill in the supermarket?"

Chris had nothing to say. In fact, he did not have sufficient reason. He believed the words of the psychic now, but could not convince others that even he himself did not believe that such a strange thing would have happened a few hours ago.

"If you're fine, I'm going to go and do it," Swan complained. "I don't have time to listen to your crazy words. No matter what kills people, our guns will handle that bastard."

"He doesn't believe us." Claire said angrily, "three people have died. Can't all this make him realize what's going on?"

"It's not surprising, it's hard for ordinary people to understand supernatural powers," Ota said, while Joanna beside her was full of worry.

"No, no," Chris said, squinting his eyes and recalling Swan's words and deeds just now. "He is hiding something, he believes it, but he is trying to cover something." He looked at the others and said firmly: "We go to the grocery store owner, even if he breaks his teeth, I will take a clue from him."
