Chapter 511 What a genius(1/2)

Medical Center.

Emergency clinic.

"Dr. Duncan, a five-year-old child, has some heart problems, and is in the No. 1 clinic."

The nurse immediately greeted Adam when she saw him coming in.

"Okay, I get it."

Adam walked over quickly.

A little African-American girl lying there with difficulty breathing.

"The aorta is narrowed, and there is sudden severe dyspnea, respiratory rate 40, blood pressure 180/100, heart rate hyperactivity, and mid-systolic murmur."

Adam said while checking, “Inject her 20 mg of furosemide.”

"Yes, doctor."

The nurse quickly injected the little girl with diuretics.

"What's her name?"

Adam asked.

“Calissa.”

The nurse replied.

"Hi Kalisa, I'm Dr. Duncan."

Adam leaned over to look at the little girl who looked a little confused and said warmly: "Have you ever touched anything you shouldn't touch or ate something you shouldn't eat?"

Kalisa shook her head with difficulty.

"Have her family arrived?"

Adam looked up and asked the nurse.

"Her father and sister are coming."

The nurse replied.

"doctor!"

Another nurse reminded: "Her heart rate has changed."

“Venteric tachycardia.”

Adam looked at the monitor and frowned and said, "20 mg lidocaine, intravenous bolus."

"Yes, doctor."

The nurse responded immediately.

"Have she got her medical record?"

Adam asked.

“Searching for databases.”

The nurse replied.

"Doctor, she has a fever."

The nurse reminded.

"Sweep her stomach immediately and prepare for lavage."

Adam ordered, “And give her a toxicology test.”

"Is she poisoned?"

The nurse said in surprise.

"Um."

Adam nodded: "Let the lab check as soon as possible to see what she's ate."

"Yes, doctor."

The nurse agreed and skillfully drew blood for Kalisa, then took the blood sample to the laboratory for a toxicological examination.

After Adam washed Carisa's stomach, the symptoms of poisoning such as fever, ventricular heart rate disorder, hypertension, and anxiety were all relieved.

On the other side of the laboratory.

Because the name of Adam was reported, he had been treated with an expedited treatment and soon sent a toxicology examination report.

"Damn it!"

Adam took it over and saw it, and couldn't help but curse.

The nurse also showed an angry expression.

However, the examination results showed that five-year-old Kalisa had overdose of cocaine.

This is a strong calves!

She is only five years old!

"Doctor Duncan, do you need to notify children and family services?"

The nurse asked.

"Um."

Adam nodded.

In the United States, whenever children are hurt, whether intentionally or unintentionally, it will attract investigations from child protection organizations.

Hospitals and doctors, as long as they find it, they must report according to the procedures.

"Doctor Duncan? Carissa's family is here."

The nurse reminded.

"Let them wait."

Adam continued to treat Carissa.

Now that the cause has been solved, just need to prescribe the right medicine? Don’t rush to ask your family’s family about Kalisa’s past medical history.

Wait until the children and family services are sent.

Adam came forward with the other party again.

Children and family services are coming soon.

He is an African-American middle-aged woman.

"Ms. McGillis, that's the case."

Adam introduced Kalisa's condition: "The family is in the waiting area."

"Let's go over and take a look together."

Ms. McGillis said with a heavy face.

"good."

Adam nodded? He took her to the family waiting area.

A strong middle-aged African-American man? Sitting there anxiously, leaning on his shoulders with an African-American girl in her teenager with headphones hanging on her ears and eyes closed.

"Mr. Freeman."

The nurse stepped forward? Called.

"How is my daughter?"

Mr. Freeman held the African-American girl backed on the chair? He stood up and asked anxiously.

"She's fine."

Adam nodded to him.

“Thank God.”

Mr. Freeman raised his hands high, thanked God first, then walked over and reached out to shake hands with Adam: "Thank you? Doctor! I want to see her now!"

"No hurry."

Adam introduced: "This is Ms. McGillis from Children and Family Services. She has something to say to you."

"Your legal name and address?"

Ms. McGillis asked expressionlessly.

"What?"

Mr. Freeman's smile froze immediately? He looked at Adam, then looked at him in the seat? Ms. McGillis, who was posing in a serious questioning posture, asked in confusion: "What happened?"

He is not stupid.
