Chapter 1 Mission Impossible

(Please vote...)

One day in July 1997, on a beach, a group of actors wearing Allied uniforms during World War II were "snatching the beach" under the cameras of several cameras. The "German" soldiers on the coast were "swiveling" at the camera in a bunker!

The scene was very big, and hundreds of people were used. Sitting next to the monitor on the set was Spielberg, the famous director.

He is working on his latest film, Save Private Ryan, a great war film that has become a benchmark for all similar subjects. The script was created by Robert Rodat, who began to conceive the script in 1994.

The film was jointly invested by Spielberg's DreamWorks and Paramount, with a budget of $7,000, and is scheduled to be screened in the 1998 summer.

Spielberg was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He is a famous American film director, screenwriter and filmmaker. In his forty years of film career, Spielberg has touched on many themes and types, including the Jewish Holocaust, slavery, war and terrorism. Spielberg has won the Oscar twice for Best Director. He has three movies, "The Great White", "E.t. Alien" and "Jurassic Park", which broke the box office record and became the most popular movie at that time. To date, the revenue of the films directed by Spielberg has exceeded US$8.5 billion worldwide.

These two films that won the Oscar for Best Director, one is "Schindler's List" and the other is "Save Private Ryan" which is currently being filmed.

Whether from a commercial or artistic perspective, Spielberg is a well-deserved "godfather" in Hollywood. His movies are sometimes science fiction and sometimes realistic, but they all reveal a unique analysis of human nature.

When Cameron's "Titanic" became popular in the late 1997 and early 1998, the filming of "Saving the Soldier" was completed and busy post-production was underway.

This is an era where high-quality movies continue to burst out. Countless excellent filmmakers are in this era.

Our story came to 1998. During this year, two kung fu Chinese broke into Hollywood and successfully gained a foothold here. One was Jet Li, the other was Jackie Chan. One was with "Deadly Weapons 4" and the other was with "Rush Hour 1".

In February of the year, 3D has moved into a new office building in the Hollywood district, with more than 200 employees.

"Wow, this office is more than three times larger than ours before." Looking at the spacious and bright new workshop, Green said to Ike with a smile. It was hard for him to imagine that they were a pair of poor students who had just graduated from college a year ago.

"Haha, let me sigh." Ike walked to the new office chair, patted hard, and then came to the huge floor-to-ceiling window. "The scenery here is also very good, come here."

Green walked over, "What's wrong, man."

"We and Paramount have become neighbors." Ike said, pointing to the building outside the window. Not far from 3D Company, it is Paramount Film Company. You can see the huge logo on the building clearly.

"Haha, don't worry, under your leadership, we will sooner or later become as famous as them." Green patted Eck and said with a smile.

"I hope." Ike shook his head and smiled, and sat on the office chair.

"By the way, man, do you have any new movie plans?" Green made it on the new sofa in the office.

Hearing Green's question, Ike frowned, and he shook his head gently. His thoughts pulled him back three days ago.

Three days ago, Ike received a new main task sent by the game - directing a movie himself, making it the North American box office champion in 1998, and won the Best Director Award at the Oscars of the following year. Time: As of the end of the next year's Oscars. Conditions: When you select a movie in the database, the system will have a "slaughter" punishment. Reward: Unknown. Punishment: Failed to complete on time and conditions, the system will deduct 150 soul value! Tip: Please prepare enough soul value.

But when Ike saw this main task, he habitually cursed "Fake". Frankly speaking, this task is difficult, and it is the most difficult thing that Ike has encountered since entering this world.

There is an old Chinese saying: The Shu Road is difficult, it is more difficult than climbing to the sky. This task is even more difficult than climbing to the Shu Road. Ike knew that the game's mission has now entered the intermediate stage from the primary stage. Just like his 3D company, it has been upgraded from a 1-star company to a 2-star.

The level has increased, and the challenge will of course be greater, but Ike really didn't expect it to be so big. He carefully analyzed the task.

First of all, we must win the box office championship in 1998, which is the box office championship in 1998. Who is the North American box office champion in 1998? It is Spielberg's "Save the Soldier". In history, this movie has achieved a box office of US$210 million (North America).

Ike only needs to export a movie, which will exceed 210 million. If you just do this, you will stick your butt and put your strength into it. Coupled with the company's current outrageous publicity and his increasingly powerful influence, it is not impossible to complete, and it can even be said to be very promising.

The key is that the system also requires the film to win the Best Director Award at the Oscar at the beginning of the following year! So who is the Best Director of the Oscar at the beginning of next year in history, that is, in 1999? That is Spielberg, the director of "Saving the Soldier".

This is clearly a way to make a movie and compete with Spielberg in all aspects! This is almost an impossible task!!!

Under the current circumstances, I must find a database movie. Indeed, there will be a punishment for this, so there is nothing I can do. The system has already prompted that I have sufficient soul value.

Fake!, when Ike saw this sentence, he got angry. Do you think it is as easy to obtain the soul value as buying cabbage?

Ike thought carefully about the Hollywood Best Director Award. It can be said that after the 1990s, there were only two movies that won the box office champion and the Oscar for Best Director the following year. One was "Forrest Gump" and the other was "Save the Soldier", and there was no movie after the 21st century.

So, after receiving this task, Ike was a little depressed these two days. He once wondered whether the system had started to get lost again and wanted his own life. Otherwise, how could such an impossible task be set up, and if he couldn't complete it, he would have to ask for his own 150 soul points.

He also discovered a new feature, that is, as the game deepens, the system's efforts to deduct his soul points are getting stronger and stronger.

Ike thought for two days but didn't think about what kind of movie to shoot. However, in order to save his life, he invested $2,000 in Mexico in Central America and Pakistan in Asia respectively, and established two charitable relief funds for people who were in danger of their lives because they had no money to see a doctor.

Of course, his behavior was thanked by the local people and the government. Good people will always be rewarded, and Eck firmly believes in this.

"Ring..." A crisp sound of cell phone pulled back Ike's thoughts. Ike looked at Green, made an apologetic gesture, and then answered the phone.

"Hi, Hani, let's have lunch together, there's a new movie for me to script." Theron's voice was on the phone.

"Okay. I'll pick you up later." Ike agreed immediately.

"Girlfriend," Green asked when he saw Ike's smiling face.

Ike nodded, "I'm going out."

"Man." Green shouted, "Theron is definitely a standard beauty."

Ike waved his hand, and without looking back, he walked straight out of the office.
