Chapter 9 The Founder of Google

(Please vote.....)

With a warm and unfulfilled atmosphere, the Oprah show in "Juno" ended, and Ike and his party bid farewell to Oprah.

"Li, how about my show again after your new movie is finished?" Before leaving, Oprah took the initiative to make this request.

"Okay." Of course Ike was willing, "I'll come again during the promotional period of the movie. I'll thank you for your invitation here."

"You're welcome." Oprah said with a smile, "I wish you a smooth shooting of your new movie."

"Oh, thank you so much." Ike said.

After the few left the TV station, the host Coty arranged for everyone to have a meal together and then went their separate ways.

The next day, Ike returned to Los Angeles. After this "Opra Show", he found that his charm value increased by 15 points, reaching 58. It seems that positive exposure can also increase his charm.

However, now he doesn't care about his charm value because he really doesn't understand what the side mission is. The important thing is to work hard to complete the main mission first. He stepped up his creation of "The Walker of the Skies".

It has come mid-February, and he plans to complete the script by the end of this month. The new employees of 3d company have basically been in place. Due to the company's expansion, Ike specially established a technical department. He knows that 1998 was the year of the explosion of the information industry. This technical department is to handle various information on the Internet and computers, as well as the company's internal information management.

Although he is a film company, with the development of the times, he needs computers to do any business. However, there has been no response from the "Ark" investment company. Ike knew that the Sith's boss was considering it.

I must not be in a hurry about this matter. I have to meet this mysterious "big boss" before talking about it.

The newly established technical department has arranged a manager named Bisterling John. This young man in his early 20s graduated from the famous computer department of Stanford University and is a computer expert. Ike attaches great importance to the training of the company's new job. He believes that no matter what he does, innovation is very important.

That day Ike was writing a script in the office, and Bisterling knocked on the door and walked in.

"Oh, John," Eke said enthusiastically, "Please sit down, don't be so reserved."

Bisterling is a shy young man, tall and thin, wearing a pair of black-rimmed glasses. He respects Ike very much and is grateful to Ike for giving him the opportunity. You should know that there are so many college graduates now, but like myself, not many people become executives in a company shortly after graduation.

"Is there anything wrong?" Ike asked with a smile on his face.

"Disturbate you, Mr. Ike," said Bisterling.

"Haha, I said, don't be so polite. We are about the same age and now we work together again. Just speak up if you need anything." Ike looked at him with a smile, thinking to himself that after this young man arrived at the company, he has been focusing on his job and rarely takes the initiative to go to his office. There must be something going on today.

Seeing that Ike was very direct and friendly, Bisterling let go, "That's right, the company's database and information station are being added to establish it. I understand that Mr. Ike attaches great importance to this aspect."

"Of course." Ike nodded, "or I wouldn't have spent a lot of energy to set up this department."

"Mr. Ike is interested in online information?" asked Bilinters.

"Well...of course, I'm a layman in this regard, but I'm very optimistic about the development of this industry, which will definitely be an inevitable trend in social development in the future." Ike explained his point of view.

"You really think so, um... think this is a trend? You know how many years have the Internet been popular?" asked Bilinters.

"Yes, the 21st century must be an information age, which will change people's inherent life patterns. Oh, by the way, why do you suddenly ask this question?" Ike asked.

"That's right, I have two good friends at Stanford, well... we are alumni, but they have not graduated yet. They are now studying the same technology, I have participated, and have invested some money. Now I'm a little impressed, haha. But... more funds are needed, they are preparing, but... the results are not ideal..." Bilinters said.

"Do you want me to invest in your project?" Ike asked directly.

"Oh, Mr. Ike is so straightforward. I just want to ask, if you are interested, you can meet these two of my alumni and listen to them. Of course, it doesn't matter if you don't." Bilintes shrugged his shoulder and said with a smile.

"Haha, after working for a long time, you are the friend who recommends you to me." Ike leaned on the chair and shook his head.

Bilentes shook his head helplessly and smiled, "It is difficult for college students to start some business now, but I think their research topics are very good."

"Is that right?" Ike said before he held his body up and started the work. "You are so optimistic? Well..." He nodded and asked, "I believe in your ability and vision. By the way, what projects are they researching? I want to hear it."

Seeing that Ike had some interest, Bilintes said correctly, "What they are studying is a technology about information search, well... they want to use a huge search engine to make it more convenient for people to find the information they need from the Internet."

"What?" Ike was stunned when he heard Bilents say this. Search engine? It's now 1998... No way...

"What's your alumni's name?" Ike asked.

"Oh, one is called Larry Page, and the other is called Sergey Brin." Bilinters did not expect that Ike was not asking about this technology, but asked the alumni's name.

Fark!! Aix let out his tie, he really won the lottery prize, no, it's even more NB than winning the lottery.

Stanford University! 1998! Search engines! Page and Brin! Everything is right, yes, absolutely not wrong. This should be the great Google company in history.

The company was indeed established in 1998. After more than 10 years of development, it became the world's largest search company. Its market value reached US$200 billion in 2011, which once exceeded Microsoft and was 57% of Apple.

Ike smiled at Bilents opposite him, then asked, "Are your two alumni still in Stanford?"

"Yes."

"Oh, Los Angeles at Stanford is not too far away, I want to meet them," Ike said.

"Really? Mr. Ike, will you invest in them?" Bilintes asked happily. He knew that these two classmates had found several investors, but the results were not ideal.

"I will vote because I am optimistic about your skills." Ike said seriously, thinking that as long as it is not SB, I will vote.

"Oh, thank goodness." Billentis clasped his hands and said happily, "Thank you really, I'll call now and tell Brin and Page."

After saying that, Bilintes left Ike's office with a happy mood. Seeing Bilintes leave happily, Ike sat on the office chair and nodded constantly. Fack!!! Time is running, and big business comes to his own door.
