The first thousand three hundred and nine chapters take care of the Olympic bid committee

The information of the Olympic Bing Committee was conveyed through Liu Deyi. Since Chen Kangjie's phone number is not generally announced to the public, Liu Deyi can only be used as a bridge between them. In fact, it is not necessarily that no one of the Olympic Bing Committee knew Chen Kangjie's contact information, but if they want to respect Chen Kangjie, they can only follow the procedures.

As the first stop for external publicity before the Olympic bid, we chose Greece, the birthplace of the ancient Olympic Games.

From 776 BC to 388 BC, Iphitus, the ruler of Peloponnese, worked hard to integrate religion and sports competition. He not only innovated religious rituals, but also organized large-scale sports competitions and activities, and decided to hold them every four years, which was set after the summer solstice in the leap year. Therefore, the ancient Olympic Games in 776 BC was officially recorded in history and became the first of the ancient Olympic Games. There were only three countries participating in the first ancient Olympic Games, namely, Peloponnese, Isley, and Sparta. At that time, there was only one competition event, namely, a field with a distance of 192.27 meters.

The ancient Greeks stipulated that the Olympic Games were held every four years in 776 BC because they were to show respect for the Olympic gods (that is, Zeus and other gods in ancient Greek mythology). At that time, each city-state had its own way of counting the year, and there was no common era. However, the most important event in each city-state was the Greek Games. There are four types of these games: the Olympic Games, the Piscia Games, the Nemian Games and the Ismiya Games. These four games were headed by the Olympic Games and were held in four locations in sequence. A four-year cycle formed in this way was called the Olympic cycle (Olympiad), which became the method for calculating the years between city-states.

During the Games, all Greek athletes and nearby people gathered in Olympia, a scenic town in southern Greece. When the first Olympics were held here in 776 BC, the Dorian Klos won the championship in the 192.27-meter sprint, becoming the first person to win the first event of the International Olympic Games. Later, the scale of the Ancient Greek Games gradually expanded and became a grand event to show the national spirit. The winners of the game won laurels, wild olives and palm-woven wreaths.

From 776 BC to 394 AD, after 1170 years, a total of 293 ancient Olympic Games were held. In 394 AD, the Olympic Games were banned by Roman Emperor Theodos I.

There are many legends about the origin of the ancient Olympic Games, and the most important ones are as follows: one is that the ancient Olympic Games were a sports competition event held regularly for the sacrifice of Zeus. Another legend is related to Zeus's son Heracles, who was extremely powerful. He was awarded the title of "Hercules" for his great strength. He completed tasks that ordinary people could not complete in the city-state of Erice. In less than a short while, he swept the king's cowshed pile full of cow dung, but the king did not want to give him 300 cows. Hercules drove away the king in anger. In order to celebrate the stingy king, he held a grand sports meeting in the Olympics, which led to the Olympics.

After the Roman Empire ruled Greece, although the sports meetings were still held at first, Olympia was no longer the only place to compete. For example, at the 175th Olympic Games in 80 BC, the Roman rulers summoned outstanding athletes in Rome, while Olympia only held the junior competition. At this time, professional athletes began to appear in large numbers, and the Olympics became a competition for professional athletes. The Greeks lost interest in this. After the 2nd century AD, Christianity ruled the entire Europe, including Greece, advocated asceticism, advocated separation of spirits and flesh, and opposed sports, which put Europe in a dark age. The Olympics also declined even further until they were in name only.

In 393 AD, the Roman Emperor Theodossi 1 declared Christianity as the state religion, believing that the ancient Olympics would violate Christian principles and were pagan activities. The following year, the ancient Olympics were abolished. In 395 AD, the Byzantines and the Goethes fought fiercely on the Alphis River, destroying all Olympian facilities. In 426 AD, Theodossi 2 burned down the remaining parts of Olympian buildings. Two consecutive strong earthquakes in 511 and 522 AD completely destroyed Olympia. From then on, the ancient Olympics, which had been postponed for more than 1,000 years, no longer existed, and the prosperous Olympia became a ruin.

Starting from the 15th century, educators began to advocate a happy and healthy lifestyle. In the 17th century, the "gentleman education" of the British John Locke proposed the "gentleman education" and the French Jean-Jacques Rousseau suggested learning through games. In 1776 AD, British archaeologists discovered ancient Olympic sites during investigation. From 1875 to 1881, the German Kutius excavated unearthed cultural relics at the Olympia site, which aroused the interest of the whole world. In 1858, Greece issued the "Olympic Order" and held the first Pan-Hellenic Olympic Games in Athens on October 1, 1859.

In July 1889, at the International Track and Field Congress held in Paris, France, Pierre de Coubertin, a French educator who was later honored as the "Father of the Olympics", disclosed his vision for the first time his vision of restoring the Olympics. In January 1891, Coubertin, as the Secretary-General of the Federation of Track and Field Associations, sent an invitation to almost every sports organization and club in the world to attend the International Sports Congress held at the Sorbonne Theological Seminary in Paris, France on June 16, 1894. The conference was the first Olympic Congress, and 78 representatives from 37 sports organizations from 9 countries attended the meeting. At that time, Coubertin became the first secretary-general of the International Olympic Committee and passed the resolution.

The Olympic Games were revived and passed the first Olympic Charter initiated and formulated by Coubertin, which involved the basic purpose, principles and other related matters of the Olympic movement. On June 23, the Congress passed the resolution to establish the International Olympic Committee, and June 23 became the "International Olympic Day". Coubertin drafted the International Olympic Committee Charter, elaborated on the philosophical foundation, educational and aesthetic significance of the Olympic movement, laid the theoretical foundation of the Olympic movement, and made the Olympic movement develop into a lasting sports and peace movement. This conference marked the birth of the modern Olympic movement, and Coubertin was hailed by people as the "father of modern Olympics."

Since he served as the Olympic bid ambassador for the first Olympic Games in the Republic, Chen Kangjie was not unfamiliar with the Olympic Games, he still dutifully found some information to study it so as not to make a fool of himself at critical moments. The work he did represents a city, a country, and a nation.

Chen Kangjie didn't know how the Olympic bid ambassadors helped the capital to do bidding publicity work in the original history, nor did he know whether their first stop was Greece. According to the history of the Olympic Games, Chen Kangjie thought that their first stop was Greece, which should have the meaning of pilgrimage and commemoration of this holy land. The origin of the ancient Olympic Games was in Greece, and the first place of the Modern Olympic Games was also in Greece. Since the first Modern Olympic Games was held in Greece, the first president of the International Olympic Committee was not the Frenchman Coubertin, but the Greek Vikelas.

Based on these factors, the Olympic bid committee will choose the first stop for external publicity in Greece, which is to show its respect for the Olympic spirit and relive and respect for Olympic history. Of course, choosing here is also the Greeks among each Olympic Committee member, which is the first shot of the competition support vote.

After receiving this request, Chen Kangjie called the Olympic bid committee as soon as possible. Since May Day was a holiday, he decided to fulfill his duties as an ambassador to bid for the Olympic bid and go to Athens with the Olympic bid delegation.

It was also on the phone that he realized how much the Olympic bid committee took care of him.

After the hard work and hard work of many staff members, the complex Olympic bid documents have been compiled. As for the Olympic bid promotional video, Chen Kangjie himself decided in mid-April. From early April to mid-April, Director Zhang flew back and forth from the capital Qianzhou five times. Each time he asked Chen Kangjie about the content of the reshoot, and also asked Chen Kangjie about the editing, color and soundtrack, because this matter was not a bit careless. Chen Kangjie also carefully considered it several times after discussing with Director Zhang. The English translation content in the promotional video was written by Chen Kangjie himself.

After watching this promotional video to the officials of the Olympic bid committee, everyone expressed satisfaction. The evaluation was grand, exquisite and meticulous, and it showed our national culture, national spirit, and our sincerity and determination to bid for the Olympic Games. After watching this promotional video, even if those who have never been to China, they will have a new understanding of China today. In addition, the end of the promotional video was the name of LONG. I believe that many people will not feel bad. Perhaps the reason why those officials are satisfied is that there is this factor in it. Otherwise, if there are ten thousand Hamlets in the eyes of ten thousand people, how can they judge something so neatly?

Just because the preparations have been done, according to the plan of the Olympic bid committee and the communication with Greece, we should wait until the Labor Day holiday is over before we set off. Considering that Chen Kangjie is not able to determine the time after the holiday, he has brought the date forward. In order to accommodate him alone, basically everyone can only contribute their holidays. Others will take care of them to such an extent. How could Chen Kangjie retreat? Of course, he can only sacrifice his holiday leisure life.

It’s pretty good. Chen Kangjie, a country in Greece, has never been there. This time he went there, it was just a rare trip.
