Chapter 165 This is the realm
(Full text reading)
Chen Mo and Chen Luan were talking, and suddenly the sound of thunder sounded between heaven and earth, like the roar of the gods, intimidating the four fields.
"That's it?" Chen Mo looked carefully and found a man sitting on a lotus on a mountain in Wanshou Mountain with Buddhist serpent sitting on a lotus. Above his head, clouds are like ink, rolling like dragons, and thunder is about to break through the clouds, which is extremely terrifying.
Chen Luan passed through several small thunder tribulations and knew at a glance that the man was refining the small thunder tribulations.
"This man looks young, and the little thunder tribulation is at least three levels, right?" Chen Luan looked carefully.
The man was wearing a Wanshou Zen Clothes, with a green face but very steady appearance. He was too calm than a middle-aged man. The man sat in the lotus, pinching the magic tricks in his hand, and a vajra and a yaksha jumped out of the void to protect him. The hideous yaksha saw Chen Mo open his mouth and waving his fork.
"That is the 'Kasya Yasha Protector'. This man has reached a very advanced level." Chen Luan saw at a glance that the origin of this supernatural power was from the "Kasya Sutra" from Wanshou Temple.
"It's worthy of being Wanshou Temple." Chen Mo said in admiration.
Such a young and powerful cultivation is worthy of the name of the century-old Zen master.
"We won't bother him." Chen Luan nodded.
The cultivators of the small thunder tribulation need to refine the whole body by relying on the thunder aura nurtured by the world. This period of time is very dangerous. If you are disturbed, you will be indestructible. However, most of the cultivators who refine the small thunder tribulation are prepared, and it is not easy to destroy it.
Chen Luan had this strength but didn't have this mind. In fact, she liked the genius. As soon as they left, the man slowly opened his eyes, with a boy-like face without any sorrow or joy, and his mood had reached a state of mind. The boy did not look at Chen Luan, who could fly with a sword, but instead paid more attention to Chen Mo. Then he closed his eyes and no longer was distracted.
Chen Luan drove the flying sword and landed in front of Wanshou Temple Mountain. The one who received them was a monk with a handsome face and beautiful eyes.
Chen Mo asked: "Who is the young man who refined the small thunder tribulation in Wanshou Mountain?"
"Report to your Highness, that's Junior Brother Fang Xi. He has been practicing in this temple. He only came out of seclusion yesterday to practice the small thunder tribulation. The other monks didn't know about it." The guardian seemed unwilling to say more, and Chen Mo didn't ask again.
It was a long way to the Bodhi Hall of Wanshou Temple. There were sandalwood ripples along the way. Chen Mo was also curiously looking at this place. Along the way, he saw monks practicing martial arts, and his qi and blood soaring into the sky, making them very strong.
Chen Mo is also a celebrity in Wanshou Temple. The Hanshan Shide Questions and Zen poems he made at the banquet have completely resounded in Wanshou Temple.
After he appeared, all the monks would look at each other. Most of these eyes were incredible and admiration for Chen Mo's understanding of the Zen masters, and his envy of entering Bodhi Cliff to sit in meditation.
Very few monks who practice in Wanshou Temple can enter the Bodhi Cliff to meditate. Some people may not even be able to see Bodhi in their entire lives. However, Chen Mo is young and can achieve the achievement that a great Zen master can achieve at the age of fifteen or sixteen. Anyone would be powerless.
The Zen practitioner's mind and nature are worthy of it. When he arrived at the Bodhi Hall, the monks along the way did not see negative emotions, which made Chen Luan feel amazing.
The first Master Cixu in Wanshou Temple is in front of the Bodhi Hall.
"Master Cixu is working hard." The two of them respectfully clasped together.
"Your Highness, please." Master Cixu smiled slightly, looking at Chen Mo with a look of love. In front of this great Zen master, any man and woman who can have sudden enlightenment in the Zen master are like their own children. Master Cixu was also very happy that Chen Mo had such attainment, otherwise he would not have easily given the Bodhi Cliff, the treasure land of the Zen master, to Chen Mo to meditate.
When you enter the hall, you will see a huge Buddha image. Unlike the Buddhist Vajra Arhat Bodhisattva, the Buddha image in the Zen Hall is simple and simple. The Buddha image just sits and you will feel like this everlasting. Chen Luan doesn’t like Zen players very much because the Zen players’ sudden enlightenment is too mysterious, but when you see this Buddha image, you can’t help but feel solemn.
There are many gold lamps hanging in the hall, which are as big as a jar. They are shiny on them, and they are woven in fine gold wire, with thin glass sheets inside, and their light is tanned with moonlight and its oil is fragrant.
These sesame oils are not oils offered by ordinary people's lamps, but Brahma butter. They can be used to meditate to visualize the Bharatha Kingdom. Each tael is worth 200 taels. Chen Mo was secretly surprised when he saw the content of the sesame oil and the amount of the lamps.
Lamp offering is an important form of Buddhist offerings, representing the pursuit of light and wisdom. However, the lamp offering in front of you can also cost at least one million taels of gold. As a Zen monk, the luxury level is even greater than that of the royal family.
The pursuit is astonishing.
Master Cixu also seemed to see Chen Mo's thoughts and said: "The lantern of wisdom can break through all the darkness. This lantern is called the 'The Heavens of Light'. There are clouds in the Buddhist scriptures. It is lit and lit ten thousand bright lamps to repent and eliminate all sins. Only when the Bodhi Cliff is open will the Bodhi Hall offer the 'The Heavens of Light'."
Chen Mo was ashamed. It turned out that it was all because of him. "I must sit in meditation with devoutly, and I will never forget this wisdom lamp."
"Sitting in meditation and enlightenment is about the original mind. Your Highness is so persistent and has fallen into a inferior state." Master Cixu said cautiously.
"What the mage said is, I remember it." Chen Mo nodded.
Before entering Bodhi Cliff, you also need to burn incense, bathe, pray, and pray for blessings. A series of very orthodox etiquettes of Zen masters, and then Master Cixu will lead Chen Mo into a side door in the main hall.
Just as the monks finished praying for blessings, a round little head suddenly popped out from the door and looked at Chen Mo curiously.
The little novice monk had dark eyes and was very clever.
Chen Mo looked at him and waved his hand. The little shaman immediately retracted his head.
Chen Luan rolled her eyes.
Suddenly, a group of little novice monks ran in, and the monks in the Zen poetry hall were stunned and then smiled. "Brother, brother."
Although these little novice monks were wearing Zen clothes, there were still many girls, shouting happily, like hungry birds surrounding Chen Mo.
"Brother, did you just say what Hanshan Shide asked? It's so awesome."
"Brother, I will be like you in the future."
"elder brother……"
When Chen Mo felt relieved when he heard the cute "brother" of a boy and a girl.
"Don't disturb Your Highness, purify your heart, take them back to the meditation room to practice well." Master Cixu said to a monk who was running over.
"Abbot, are they all adopted by the Gui Temple?" Chen Mo asked.
"Someone sent me to practice, and there were orphans who lost their parents." Master Cixu looked at these boys and girls very much.
Seeing that these children still retained a little pure and innocent, Chen Mo couldn't help but respect Wanshou Temple.
The monk with a pure heart called the children to ask them to return to the meditation room.
"Brother, tell us about Buddhism."
"Brother, tell us."
These children reluctantly grabbed Chen Mo's clothes and heard about Chen Mo's deeds for a long time. In the hearts of these children, Chen Mo unknowingly was like the head of Wanshou Temple. Today, when facing his idol, he really wanted to hear his words.
Chen Mo Khan said that if he wanted him to talk about Zen in front of Master Cixu, it would be a show of his skills.
"Your Highness, why don't you tell them just? These children admire Your Highness very much." Jingxin smiled.
The hundred monks and Zen masters in the main hall were all looking at Chen Mo at this time. As a person who could enter the Bodhi Cliff, everyone also wanted to know that Chen Mo truly understood Buddha and Zen.
Chen Mo saw that there was nothing he could do, but he really didn't know what to say for a moment. He could speak, but he never made any statement. Looking around at the golden lights in the palace, Chen Mo thought to himself and said, "Then I will tell you the story of a poor girl, right? Have you ever heard of it?"
"No."
The children were happy.
"I'm not grateful to Your Highness."
"Thank you, Your Highness." The boy and girl spoke in unison.
As soon as they heard Chen Mo's statement, the children immediately sat cross-legged on the ground and listened carefully. Not only them, but also the great Zen masters around them, pricked up their ears and listened with scrubbing their ears.
Chen Luan was very curious about what Chen Mo would say. As far as she knew, this younger brother had never been in contact with Buddhism.
Chen Mo said that the "poor girl's lamp" is very special in Buddhist allusions. The general meaning of the whole story is that a king invited the Buddha to a meal, and afterwards he wanted to express his respect for the Buddha, he decided to burn lamps and offer the Buddha to the whole country. A poor girl named Nanda had a respect for the Buddha. Although she wanted to offer to the Buddha, she had no money. One day, the king lit ten thousand lamps to offer to the Buddha and wanted to give to the Buddha a little, so she took the copper coins she had begged to go to the store selling sesame oil to ask the owner to sell her oil and also wanted to burn lamps and offer to the Buddha.
When the shop owner saw it, he asked her: You are so poor, why don’t you buy food without begging for money, but what to do with oil and ointment?
Nanda said: I heard that being born in the Buddha world is a difficult thing in a hundred kalpas. Now I am fortunate to be able to meet the Buddha world, but I have no money to give. Today, I saw the king lit the oil lamp and felt very happy and wanted to ignite a lamp to offer to the Buddha.
The shop owner was moved to know that Nanda's intentions and could only buy two boxes of ointment for her. Nanda's woman knew that there was not much ointment and it would go out in the middle of the night, so she piously folded her hands and bowed to the Buddha and said, "I wish I could do Buddhist affairs in every life and ask the Buddha to bless this lamp. The light will never fade." Later, the lamps in the city were turned off, and only Nanda's lamps would not fade. Later, the Buddha moved her to become a Buddha.
Because of sincerity, because of the merit of burning a lamp, I was given the prophecy by the Buddha, and I will become a Buddha.
After the story was told, the monks in the main hall fell into deep thought and remained silent for a long time. The children opened their eyes wide and showed their cute appearance.
The story of "poor girl's lantern" mentioned by Chen Mo is extremely suitable in this environment, even Master Cixu was shocked.
"Can you learn anything from this story?" Chen Mo blinked, and his sister knew that the kid had bad stomachs at a glance.
The child didn't know this and replied well.
"A sincere heart will make you feel good!"
"Only sincerity can you gain."
"What do you think of the masters?" Chen Mo asked with a smile.
The monks who were meditating in the Bodhi Hall all had a deep cultivation in Wanshou Temple. When they heard him ask, they thought about it and thought that they would answer the same as the child’s answer. But that’s right. In Buddhist scriptures, the poor girl’s lamp is originally a sincere way to the Buddha, and the Buddha will sincerely repay your story.
Chen Mo didn't like this ending, and he said: "Indeed, sincerity is the best reward for doing anything. But opportunity is the most important thing... In the story of a poor girl, if the king and the Buddha had not known the Buddha to offer the Buddha to the Lantern, how could the Buddha know about Nanda's sincerity? There are so many people in the world who sincerely care for the Buddha, and there are many people like Nanda, but why is only Nanda able to become a Buddha? It happened that it was because of the Buddha Lantern in the whole country, and the Buddha knew all this."
"The Buddha saw her sincerity, so he also seized this opportunity. Therefore, sincerity is very important, but opportunity is more important."
Boys and girls suddenly realized.
When the adults next to him were dumbfounded and could not speak, his highness's statement to the Buddha was too far beyond their understanding.
It was obviously a very beautiful story, and he was so special when he said it, and it seemed to have a brand new understanding.
Is this the so-called realm of a great Zen master?
