Chapter two hundred and seventy-six, after the journey to the west(1/2)
Somewhere in the hill...
"Oh, master, senior brother, why are these scriptures... all without words?" Zhu Bajie, who was bored, remembered the scriptures in his load, so he took out one to read.
He originally wanted to see if the scriptures were the same as the master usually said, but after this, he was shocked.
Wordless scriptures?
Could it be that this is the true meaning of the scriptures, and they should understand it themselves?
But he looked around for a long time and could not see that his figure was coming. In the end, he could only turn to Tang Seng and Sun Wukong for help.
"oh?"
Of course, Tang Seng and Sun Wukong had never read this scripture. In their opinion, how could they make jokes about this matter in the important Buddhist area?
After going through hardships and obstacles, they finally got to see the Tathagata. This is already acknowledging the Dharma and is enough to prove their sincerity.
So when I heard this, I couldn't help but read it.
Monk Sha was carrying the load, so he naturally put it down and then took out a book to take a look, "Oh, master, senior brother, second brother did not lie, this scripture is really wordless!"
"Go and go!" Zhu Bajie pushed him for a moment, and then snorted: "Master, senior brother, you all come and see if they are all without words, or if we are not lucky, we just came across this 'Written Book of Heaven'."
So Tang Seng and Sun Wukong also read it, but after searching, they couldn't find a word from the scriptures.
If you have to say something, there are words on the cover, and some of them have no words on them. They are completely blank booklets, which look like a "homework book" prepared by Buddhist disciples who have copied the scriptures.
But have they made mistakes? Why do they have to be "punished" like this?
Sun Wukong thought about it and gritted his teeth and said, "These must be the two monks who led the way. Seeing that the master had never bribed him, he held a grudge, so he gave it to us Alyssa Chia."
"What should we do?" Zhu Bajie said dumbfounded: "If we are slandered by them this time, then we will be unable to argue?"
Tang Monk hurriedly scolded: "Wukong, Bajie, don't talk nonsense. The two great monks Anu and Jiaye are disciples of the Buddha. How could they make things difficult for us in this matter? I guess something was wrong. They neglected and mistakenly brought the wordless sutra to us."
"Master, you don't know that when I saw the two monks changing their faces several times, I must have a ghost in my heart. At first I thought that there would be no accident at the disciple of the Tathagata Buddha, but I didn't expect that they were bold and reckless, and this matter must be inseparable from them."
Zhu Bajie also added fuel to Sun Wukong's anger at this time and said, "Yes, Brother Monkey must not let them go!"
Monk Sha said, "Second Brother, you just say less, right?"
Sun Wukong was already full of anger, turned around and was about to summon somersault clouds, saying, "Let me go back and settle the score with the Buddha Tathagata!"
"Don't make a fuss!" Tang Seng stopped him, dragged his hand, and pondered: "The Buddha may not know about this matter. Even if it is... I think it is Nagaye, Anu, who made his own decision. Since it is a scripture without words, let's go back and report to the Buddha and replace it with a word.
"The Buddha is very wise. As long as he calculates this, he will definitely not be able to hide it from him..."
Sun Wukong and the other two were helpless, but they could only listen to their master. Then the four of them put the scriptures back together and followed the original path back to Lingshan.
When they arrived at the Great Hall again, Sun Wukong saw the Gaye and Anu standing there at a glance, and he couldn't help but want to start a stingy first and scold them.
But then he saw that there was another person above the temple. He looked a little familiar. He blinked his eyes and said in surprise: "Oh, that's not that bed bug... How could he come here?"
Although he didn't know the grudge between Shi Zi and Buddhism, in his opinion, Shi Zi was a practitioner of Taoism and should have nothing to do with Buddhism.
What made Sun Wukong even more strange was that at this time, the Great Hall was in disgrace, and a look of sadness appeared on the faces of Buddhist disciples.
At this time, Tang Seng trembled and pointed at the lotus platform directly above the opposite side and said, "Buddha, Buddha..."
Sun Wukong was shocked and saw that the lotus platform that was originally made by Buddha Tathagata was actually empty at this time.
Then he thought of something and immediately looked at Shi Zi. The more he thought about it, the more shocked he was.
And in his opinion, this is very likely to happen. After all, when he fought with Shi Zi, the pressure on him would not be as small as possible.
The reason why I have never given up before is simply because I am stubborn.
But then he thought, if he was really the "murderer", all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats here would definitely not be like this now, just sad and not angry.
Obviously this matter has nothing to do with him. Could it be that the Buddha of Tathagata... who passed away himself?
Could it be that I found that my disciples gave them blank scriptures and felt ashamed...
What are you thinking?
Sun Wukong patted his head, but heard the familiar voice shouting, "Oh, why are you back again? But you found that you were taking blank scriptures?"
Shi Zi turned around and just glanced at Sun Wukong and the others' expressions and packages, and then guessed.
His words also attracted the attention of the Buddhas around him again. Some people went to see him, while others looked at Sun Wukong and his stance.
Guanyin Bodhisattva was still very concerned about these four disciples who had a lot of "destiny" with him, but he knew this very well, so when he heard what Shi Zi said, he was worried that Sun Wukong and the others would have a grudge, so he immediately looked at Jiaye and Anu.
The two of them did not expect that Sun Wukong and the others would find it so quickly. In fact, they regretted it after they did it before. They just saw Master Tathagata choose to pass away on their own, but they did not notice that Sun Wukong and the others had returned.
At this time, even if you want to escape, you can't escape. You can only use the excuse you thought about before and say: "This, maybe the disciples have neglected and remembered the placement of this scripture incorrectly..."
Under Guanyin's gaze, the two of them almost got scared out of cold sweat.
Tathagata is not here, and this Buddhist group of dragons has no leader, and Guanyin's status is at least in the first few days. Without the protection of Tathagata, they dare not argue with Guanyin.
So soon the two of them surrendered: "The disciple knew that he was wrong, so he went to find out the original one for the people who came to the sutra..."
They were also lucky. At this time, no one was in the mood to take advantage of the situation and rectify them. Even if they wanted to teach them a lesson, they had to wait for Tathagata to return before settle the score in the autumn.
Seeing this, Sun Wukong was certainly a little dissatisfied. He wanted to say something but was pulled by Tang Monk. In the end, he had no choice but to give up helplessly and accept this gentle ending.
However, he turned to look at Shi Zi, but said curiously: "What are you doing here on Lingshan?"
Shi Zi smiled and said, "I came here to meet old friends, but I didn't expect to encounter such a situation. Since that's the case, I should leave."
"Hey!" Sun Wukong was about to call him, but saw that his figure had disappeared.
The Buddhas also had complicated expressions because they knew very well that since the Demon Luo had already attacked the Heavenly Court, he would soon face the Lingshan Mountain.
Tathagata had passed away early, and Shi Zi was also preparing to go to the reincarnation place to meet him, so there would be no one in the Lingshan Mountain that could resist the Demonic Rou.
Can you still count on Sun Wukong?
Stop kidding!
Although the crisis had not yet arrived, they had already felt a trace of despair.
Even though they know that since Tathagata has chosen to enter the samsara and must have made a choice, they will still make a comeback one day.
But who knows when that day will come, and whether there will be any accidents in the middle, and who can be sure?
In this inexplicable atmosphere, Sun Wukong could only look at Guanyin inquiry, but saw that he seemed to know them without any mind, so he had to follow the master, Nagaye and Anu, and go back to Baoge to obtain the scriptures.
At this time, Shi Zi had already arrived at the samsara of reincarnation in the underworld and saw the Tathagata who was about to enter the samsara of reincarnation.
At the same time, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva had been waiting by his side for a long time.
"Buddha...donor..."
Shi Zi looked at Tathagata and smiled and said, "You never thought that maybe you might never go back?"
But Tathagata glanced at Ksitigarbha and sighed: "If I don't enter the cycle of reincarnation, how can the three realms be reincarnated? Narcissia is only in one breath, and I can only fight for this 'one life'!"
"Amitabha!" Ksitigarbha clasped his hands together and closed his eyes.
Then Shi Zi watched Tathagata and quietly walked into the cycle of reincarnation to overcome his disaster.
After he left, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva opened his eyes and looked at Shi Zi and said, "Donor, I have a premonition. Please ask the donor to restrain my relics for me at that time."
Shi Zi said in surprise: "Why is Bodhisattva like this?"
"Amitabha, the Buddha wants to overcome his calamity, and I also want to overcome my calamity. The so-called hell is not empty, and I vow not to become a Buddha, but why isn't he not empty because I cannot become a Buddha?
"I am a sin who has my own private interests, but I use this underworld as my private property. I am very guilty. Today, I saw the Buddha deeply in the cycle of reincarnation and realized that I had let go and gained something. After I was destroyed, I asked the donor to put my monk's relics in the ghost world of Fengdu and forever to conquer hell!",
The Ghost Creature of Fengdu is the eighteenth level of hell.
If the Ten Palaces of Yama is the place where the ghosts are punished, then the eighteen levels of hell are the place where the extremely vicious ghosts are. Those who enter this domain will never be reborn.
Perhaps it is precisely because the ghost here has not been reborn and has suffered all the torture day and night, even regret is useless, so hell cannot be used.
Even though there are evil ghosts in the eighteenth level of hell that die every day because they cannot bear torture, there are new ghosts every day.
If the evil in the world is not eliminated, how can the evil in the underworld be eradicated?
After all, the underworld was originally a supplement to the sun, but now it has gradually evolved and is affected by the sun, which has made the ambition of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva even more distant.
Shi Zi nodded for a moment.
Then he saw Ksitigarbha close his eyes, smile on his face, sit cross-legged at the border of reincarnation, and chanting words.
After only a few breaths, he turned into a cloud of mist and dissipated invisibly, leaving only the robe on his body, and then it scattered on the ground without support.
Shi Zi sighed, walked up to pick up the cassock, and drove away the relics hidden in it. However, he saw that the relics were all white and were placed in this dark dark world. No matter how you look at it, it looks prominent and weird.
He suddenly laughed and murmured to himself: "So that's the case. Those who are untainted from the mud will be kept alone, but they cannot affect the surroundings. But now, Ksitigarbha wants to use his own good thoughts to burn all the evils of the underworld?
"Or, assimilated by it..."
This is an unyielding choice, which is more radical than the so-called "Hell is not empty, and you will not become a Buddha."
If you fail, you will be successful!
Although Shi Zi is not optimistic about his success, he admires his courage.
Perhaps, it is precisely because of the current situation that when the Huiyuan Calamity is coming, there is no way forward, so there is no way to retreat, so Ksitigarbha will simply let go of everything and have the idea of trying hard.
"Since that's the case, I will fulfill you!"
To be continued...
