81. What is this? Oiled...(Part 1)(1/2)
"Get up! Get up! Lazy guys!"
The rough scolding sounded in the dim cabin, mixed with the sound of whip whipping and screaming. This noisy movement quickly woke Joan Kridone up.
The Knight of the Vicres family opened his eyes and saw a dark cabin at the sight. Then he felt a severe pain coming from his forehead.
The pain made him rub his forehead and curl up, making a deep sob.
It was like being hit on the head by a wooden stick, accompanied by the symptoms of a concussion, which made it difficult for the Knight to concentrate. His body was trembling, and when he was about to fall, he was supported by the people around him.
"Are you okay? Knight Cridon? You were so scared that you were sent last night. You were covered in blood. We thought the orcs had tortured you."
The familiar voice moved the knight's heart, and he struggled to get up and looked behind him.
In the dim cabin, he saw the old Herb with a look of fear, and several other young sailors, all of whom were on the merchant ship.
"Where is the lady? Did she escape?"
The Knight's reaction was quick, and immediately asked about the situation of the person in charge of defending him, and then touched the forehead, which was tied with a bandage and emitted an unpleasant smell of herbs.
But the wound no longer bleeds.
"No one knows."
The old businessman Herb shook his body. He lay on the edge of the cabin like a cage and looked out. He could see some orcs carrying trolls, rudely pulling out of the prisoners who were caught on the big ship.
From time to time, he waved his whip and whipped the disobedient sailors hard.
The scene scared the old businessman. While shrank his head, he said to the knight behind him:
"I asked others quietly, some people said that the lady was captured by pirates, and some people said that they saw the lady slipping away in a boat. There was no definite news, but it was certain that the pirates won a great victory.
They caught us all, but did not kill us, but just took us to a quirky big ship, which seemed to be to take us as prisoners.”
The old businessman turned around and said to Kridorn:
"I have an old sea dog under my command who once dealt with the Zandala troll merchant. He said that the trolls who robbed us last night were all from Zandala, and there is a tradition of slavery there.
I guess we're likely to be bought there and be slaves for the trolls."
"But what happened to those orcs?"
Knight Crydorn also saw what was happening outside the cabin. He leaned against the cage and looked outside. He could see many orcs back and forth in the cabin.
As a knight of the Vicres family, he guarded Miss Meredis to the Eastern Continent and met Master Arthur in a secret meeting with orcs on the Gilness Peninsula.
I have also killed several of them with my own hands.
He would not admit the wrong orc.
"Aren't these green skins all in the Eastern continent? Their chief failed at Lordaeron, and Marshal Lothar and the elite of the alliance are now pursuing them.
Why would there be green skins coming to be pirates?”
The Knight's questions are destined to be unanswered.
But it doesn't matter, the answer will be announced soon, and in a few minutes, several tall orcs came to his cell with whip weapons, carrying a bunch of troll exiles.
"You lazy guys! Come out!"
The orc cursed in a bad tone, waved the whip in his hand a few times.
The door of the cage was opened, and the vicious troll rushed in, kicking and driving the cage out.
There were also trolls holding spears, forming a circle around them, spear tips dotted with sapphire fragments pointing at them, and there were fine arcs jumping on the spear head.
"Don't be impulsive, Kridorn! They're a lot of people."
The old businessman Herber whispered to comfort the knights beside him, fearing that Kridorn would not be able to suppress his anger and would fight against these arrogant pirates. They don’t have weapons in their hands now, and they will be easily poked to death when they fight.
"You! Look up!"
But the orc in front of him seemed to be looking for something on purpose.
He whipped the Knight's feet and scolded Kridone to raise his head. The Knight's fist would be clenched tightly, and the left and right was pressed by the old merchant and a sailor, so as not to do stupid things.
Cridorn was angry, he raised his head and stared at the orc in front of him with red eyes.
The orc obviously didn't like this provocative look. He sneered and whipped it down, leaving a whip mark on the Knight's face. Kridorn was not afraid of this pain.
He struggled like a wild beast several times, shouting:
"Green skin! Give me a knife, let's fight one-on-one! I'm going to twist your head off as a ball!"
"Hold him!"
The orc was irritated by the provocation, pulled out the knife from his waist with a roar, and then several exile trolls pressed Kridone's shoulders left and right and pressed him to the ground.
The orc sneered and licked the blade with his tongue, and was about to slash the knight's cheek.
But before he could do something bad, he was shot in the middle of his spine and flew out with a kick behind his back.
"The captains are waiting on top! You bastards are still playing! Don't want your head anymore? Go and drag the pig out and let him participate in the fight later."
Zarak, wearing a mask, was holding a luxurious staff in his hand. He scolded him, and the troll around him rushed forward and dragged the irritable orc to the deck.
Zarak glanced at the angry human knight in front of him again. The Northland troll sneered, waved his hand, and said in a strange tone of human words:
"You want to show your courage? Humans, do you think you are very brave? Haha, there will be an opportunity to show you. Take it with you! The arena is about to begin, and the extremely evil adults are waiting.
Move quickly, you group of pigs.
If you dare to ruin his interest, you will all be whipped!"
Under the scolding of Black's No. 2 dog-legged, the troll exiles who had officially changed their jobs to pirates quickly pushed these prisoners last night and went up the upper deck.
Crydorn, who had whip marks on his face, was also among them. While walking upwards, he observed the environment in the dim cabin. He saw many beast cages.
But what is placed inside is not a beast, but a strange creature that is raising his head and eating grass, covered with fluff, like a sheep or a deer.
They all look at people and animals harmlessly and make light calls.
Some of them are short, with big tails, and like foxes, who are walking single and double feet, pushing carts to feed the alpacas.
In the beast cliff on the other side, there were some off-white skinned coyotes and evil screaming.
But there are also fox people watching over them.
These are tamed beasts.
In the warehouse between the lower deck and the upper level, there are many caravans with unloaded wheels, fixed between the cabins, as temporary dormitories for the fox people.
The second deck of this weird big ship was divided into several areas.
Although the beasts were tamed, they were cleaned up very clean.
When I followed the steps to the upper deck, the morning sun shone suddenly, causing the prisoners who had been in the dim cage to subconsciously close their eyes.
Then they heard the noise coming from the deck, beating drums and drums, as if they were holding a celebration.
"The tide is on, this ship is so big!"
Kridorn heard the amazement of the old businessman Herb beside him, and turned around and glanced at the deck in front of him. Indeed, the upper deck of this strange ship was extremely large, two laps larger than the largest flagship of the Kurtiras Navy.
The most amazing thing is that such a large deck is straight and made into a square shape, but there is no mast on it, like a flat road.
On both sides of the huge hull, there are small auxiliary hulls, which are only four side-by-side masts, used for temporary use of wind. Behind the deck, there is a towering stern hull.
It is like an observation platform, and it is divided into two layers, with some pirates, orcs and trolls holding battle bows, guarding them back and forth.
This is obviously not a human warship.
Kridorn thought to himself that he had never seen a similar ship in the fleet of Kurtiras or other kingdoms.
"Go! Go over and stand there!"
The trolls who were escorting them behind them pushed the knight hard and asked him to take a few steps forward. The men were forced forward by spears, and soon they saw the people standing in front of them.
The sailors and caravan members captured by the gang of pirates on four merchant ships during the battle last night, and now they are all taken to this huge deck.
Each of them had fear and anger on their faces, but they had no idea what these pirates would do to them.
Behind these prisoners, some trolls were carrying things, forming a large circle of more than 20 meters on the deck, and some foxes and the ancestor turtles on the boat were preparing big buckets of wine next to them.
The food brought from four merchant ships was placed in large pots, as if the celebration was really to be held.
Further apart, some orcs and troll pirates have begun to warm up.
They didn't bring weapons, but they beat each other with their fists. A group of guys watching the fun were waving their hands to cheer them up.
"What are they doing?"
Someone asked in a fearful tone among the captured human sailors. Cridorn did not answer. The knight looked around and finally placed his eyes on the stern stairs behind the large deck.
He stared at the high place and could vaguely see some people standing there, as if looking at this side.
---
"I've heard that human pirates celebrate after a victory looting, but do they often organize such large-scale entertainment?"
On the towering stern of the Alpaca, the Ancestral Turtle collector Koujo held a glass of wine with his claws. He looked curiously at the hustle and bustle on the deck, and asked Black, who was sitting outside the cabin and smoking a pipe:
"What do you do to deal with those human captives? They are all Kurtilas. If you hurt them, the powerful fleet of that ocean kingdom will continue to chase you."
"What do you want me to do then? My friend."
