Chapter 62 Foresight(2/2)
Gene smiled and nodded.
"Miss, don't hold on when you're too tired. If I hadn't passed by tonight, you and Monica would have frozen to death."
Chris immediately looked around and invited Gene to sit at home, and Gene nodded.
After a while, Chrissy returned to her home. She and her daughter lived on the second floor. After returning home, Chrissy hurriedly poured water for Gene.
"Lord Jean, can't you see what's going on now? If this continues, a war will definitely break out."
Chris told Jean everything she thought and the investigation report she had done before. Jean stood by the window and smoked silently, then smiled gently.
"Sorry, madam, there is nothing we can do. We are currently conducting an extremely complex research that is related to the future of mankind, so we do not have the time and energy to manage everything."
"Then what are you here for, Lord Jean?"
Chris asked with sad eyes, Gene smiled and shook his head.
"When I have nothing to do, I will look around and run around. It only takes me 10 minutes to come here, just to get some fresh air."
Chrissy's eyes dimmed, and she looked at Jean with some disappointment.
"Then Master Jean, you can assign one person to manage everything, just like a king."
Gene shook his head.
"I'm sorry, our current experiment is indispensable, and it cannot work without any one person."
Then Gene put out his cigarette butt, stood at the window and smiled.
"Goodbye ma'am, don't sleep on the roadside again."
Chris ran over quickly and saw only a flash of blue light disappearing into the darkness in the distance. She closed the window and looked at her daughter sleeping on the bed. After turning off the light, she lay down on the bed.
In the darkness, Chris was a little depressed. She really didn’t want to join in the same trap as some of the guys nowadays, but the even breathing of her daughter at hand made Chris make a choice. She decided to agree to marry the mayor’s nephew, so that she
You and Monica don't have to worry about the future.
11pm
Jean stood quietly on the top of a hill. Below was a brightly lit town, where workers were still working.
"We must have made it possible."
Gene muttered, he knew that many people are living a bad life now, because capital has begun to appear on this grassland, and family-based capital has almost monopolized everything, and 99% of people are working hard to create value.
, while the 1% of people stand at the top and enjoy the value.
