Chapter 307 Assassin(1/2)

10pm.
Tommy was talking and laughing with some ministers in the backyard. A banquet was being held in the mansion. Tommy called the ministers' families. Now such a banquet may be held once a week.
At this time, there was a sound of footsteps coming over, and Tommy saw Norbotton, and he said with a smile.
"What's the matter General Norbotton?"
"Mr. President, there is something I want to talk to you about."
Tommy nodded.
After a while, Tommy brought Norbotton to the office. Norbotton took out the crystal screen with a serious face, and then played some videos, which were videos of their conflict with the kangaroos in Kangaroo Country.
"Mr. President, I think there is absolutely no need to let them enter our military base and let them find a place to build on their own."
Tommy watched the video and then the record of the conflict. He lit a cigarette and smiled helplessly.
"This kind of thing is only for a short period of time. Just try to avoid contact between people on both sides."
Norbotton said.
"Mr. President, I am worried that one day this kind of conflict will turn into a large-scale conflict, and then there will be no way to stop it."
Tommy knew that such a problem would definitely happen, and he smiled helplessly.
"That's what those kangaroos are like. There's nothing we can do about it. We're going to march in less than a month. As long as we can survive this month, it won't matter once we start marching."
Norbotton said.
"Mr. President, once such a conflict starts, it will turn into a big problem. I hope you will consider our proposal and let them build military camps elsewhere. We will also provide certain help."
Tommy exhaled a puff of smoke and shook his head.
"It's too late. No matter what, these small problems will not affect the overall strategic plan. What we need to face in the future is an unimaginable war. Once we lose, everything will be over."
After Tommy finished speaking, he laughed. Norbotton came here tonight, not just to briefly explain the conflict between the kangaroos in the Kangaroo Kingdom, but also with doubts about the war.
"Mr. President, there is one more thing I want to know. How big will the war be?"
Tommy smiled and stood up, patted Norbotton on the shoulder and said.
"Sit down and let's have a drink."
After Norbotton took the drink from Tommy's hand, Tommy said helplessly.
"I cannot estimate the scale of the overall war, but what is certain is that once we start an attack, we will encounter an almost devastating blow."
Norbotton was stunned and almost dropped the cup in his hand. He swallowed and asked.
"Is Brilliant City really that strong?"
Tommy nodded.
"We can't estimate how many technological weapons are hidden in Brilliant City, and how many gods they possess."
Norbotton became confused, Tommy smiled and raised his hand. Just when Norbotton was confused, he saw pink light particles appearing on Tommy's fingers, and he became confused and asked.
"Is this the latest technology? Mr. President."
Tommy stood up with a smile and said.
"It's not the latest technology, but this is the power of God."
Nobton didn't quite understand. There were more and more pink particles on Tommy's body. Nobton was wrapped and he felt a touch of warmth. In the blink of an eye, Nobton saw a dark place in front of him, but he was so familiar with this place.
But that's it.
"What's going on? Am I dreaming?"
The cup in Norbotton's hand fell, but it was held up by the pink particles. Tommy stood aside. Norbotton swallowed, looking at this ability that was similar to telekinesis. He was not surprised, because
Some mutants can do it.
"You are not dreaming."
Tommy laughed, and Norbotton looked at the busy military camp below. He was on the rooftop of the military building. He looked at Tommy in disbelief, and Tommy said.
"This is the biggest secret of Brilliant City. There are eight gods with special abilities like me in Brilliant City."
As Tommy spoke, a large amount of pink particles were released. In an instant, Norbotton was back in the president's office. He was holding the wine glass in his hand tremblingly. Tommy smiled.
"It's a pretty good ability, space jump."
Norbotton couldn't believe it, but the cold feeling on the back of his hand was still dissipating, and he felt that this was not like a dream.
"As for where this power comes from, I can't explain it clearly, but you only need to know one thing. The eight gods in Bright City all possess the powerful power to destroy our entire country by themselves.
"
Norbotton swallowed, and his mind reflected on the previous members of the Area 51 Committee who were killed, as well as the previous senior military officials, including the wealthy family members who all disappeared mysteriously, and all the things that happened in the past six months.
Weird things.
"Have you figured it out, General Norbotton?"
Tommy asked. Norbotton lowered his head and looked at Tommy in disbelief.
"I did rely on this power to constantly get rid of some people, and then successfully secured the position of president before I could start a series of changes. As for why I did this, it was just because those stupid pigs continued to be in this position.
, the entire country will be directly destroyed."
Norbotton took a sip of the wine in the glass. He still couldn't believe that Tommy now had such power and called him a god.
"If you still have doubts, then use your eyes to confirm. Those kangaroos are eager to show themselves, so let them take the lead. You will see what will happen if you offend the gods.
matter."
Norbot hummed, and Tommy warned.
"I just hope you know about this. After all, before the war starts, if such a thing spreads, many people may be afraid."
Norbert hummed, and Tommy smiled.
"Okay, General Norbotton, it's time for you to go back to the barracks, or should you let me take you back?"
Norbotton shook his head. After watching Norbotton leave, Tommy sat down and stared quietly at a mirror next to him. At this time, the green flame lit up, and Eddie appeared in the mirror.

Tommy asked and Eddie shook his head.
"I'm sure the gods have a dormant period, especially after a violent consumption of energy."
Tommy asked.
"What about the probability?"
Eddie said.
"The probability is 100 percent."
Tommy nodded. He felt the same way himself. After fighting Jean that day, Tommy felt that the strength in his body seemed to be depleted a lot, and it took him a few days to recover.
"This is what I discovered from some records about the gods in Brilliant City in the past. Their energy is not infinite, and they need to restore energy through some method."
"What kind of method?"
Tommy asked and Eddie shook his head.
"We have no way of knowing this for the time being. We can only know it after the war progresses to a certain extent. Once we know it, then the gods are not invincible. How many gods can you contain?"
Tommy thought for a moment and said.
"Up to three, but I need to expend a lot of physical energy to do it."
Tommy now basically understands the limits of his power. During this period of time, he will go to the wild with Ashe to practice. This kind of power must be mastered effectively.
After his previous battle with Jean, Tommy began to take his current strength seriously. Now Tommy has very accurately grasped the limits of his strength. This strength can be restored, but just like humans, it takes a certain amount of time.
Restore physical fitness.
Tommy held the wine glass in his hand, his eyes became more and more solemn, and he said.
"Maybe two, I can only contain two gods at most."
Eddie laughed.
"Then our strategy will almost have to change slightly. As long as we can attack the Brilliant City, the gods are not invincible. After all, if their power is released, the Brilliant City will also suffer."
To be continued...
