6 legend

When I was in elementary school, a classmate from a neighboring village and had a good relationship with me. Later, he gradually lost contact. I remember that he told me a legend with a mythology. The legend contained his great master. He originally thought it was a story he made up for bragging, but later he heard some evidence from the elders in the village. It seemed to be well-founded!

According to legend, the story was born in the early days of liberation. At that time, the whole of China fanatically began to oppose feudal superstition, and atheism became the strong confidence of the people after they became masters of their own country. Although the subsequent story is mythical, I do not encourage everyone to be superstitious, but also tell a magical past that circulated among a farmer.

Having written this, I have to correct the mistakes I made at the beginning. The social background of the story is consistent with what was mentioned above, but the bad guys in the story are not the government or the people, but a group of evil lamas.

According to legend, in order to promote the doctrine they believed, a group of lamas used extremely despicable means to destroy countless temples. Their next stop was the Temple of the Virgin Mary built on the Old Temple Mountain. Under the background of the society, the incense of the Temple of the Virgin Mary was a bit depressed, but the people did not completely destroy the gods in their minds. The temple that once flourished incense stood alone on the top of the mountain and lamented.

The night before the arrival of those bad lamas, the temple official of the Holy Mother Temple slept soundly at home at the foot of the mountain. The temple official was the great master of my elementary school classmate. The temple official was plagued by dreams all night, and finally woke up with sweat. What kind of dream did he have?

A kind and kind woman came to his dream. The woman looked panicked and had a solemn expression, but she was dignified. She was the mythical and legendary Holy Mother, and was once the guardian god in the hearts of the local people. The temple official was very excited. This was the first time he had dreamed of Holy Mother's temple since he was in charge of the Holy Mother's temple. He knelt down in the dream, and the Holy Mother helped him up.

"Old man, I'm in trouble now! I can only ask you for help. Are you willing?" The Holy Mother said kindly to the temple official.

The temple official burst into tears, and he knelt down on the ground again and said to the Madame Mother: "Madame Mother! If you have any difficulties, just tell me. It is a blessing I have accumulated over the generations of times you come to me to help!"

The Holy Mother said calmly that there will be a group of barbaric lamas coming to harm me tomorrow, and I may not be able to escape the disaster. I am going to lend your ox and cart to use it, and I will move all my things to the foot of the mountain. After the storm is over, I will ask you, the old man, to build a temple for me. Can you agree?

The temple official kowtowed repeatedly and agreed to the Holy Mother's request for help. The temple official was about to look up when a stream of blue smoke surged into the sky.

The dream ended like this, and the temple official was awakened. His face was covered in sweat, and the tears at the corners of his eyes had not dried. He looked out the window. It was not yet completely dawn, and after a while, the rooster began to crow. This point usually had to fill the ox with fodder, and he walked to the cowshed with a slow pace.

When he was about to fill in the weeds, he saw a snake in the groove. The cow was sweating profusely and was eating the snake in the groove with relish. He was startled and suddenly remembered the dream he had just had. He ran out of the cowshed, knelt on the ground and prayed to the sky, thanking the Holy Mother for her great kindness.

The next day, a group of lamas came and set fire to the Temple of the Holy Mother.

The temple official thought that the Holy Mother was asking him for a dream! He told the magical dream to the neighbors in the countryside, and no one of the villagers doubted the authenticity of the dream.

After a wave of major events, the temple officials presided over the construction of a brand new temple of the Holy Mother at the request of the Holy Mother. Since then, incense has continued to spread, and the patron saint of the people has been resurrected.

According to the elementary school classmate, his great-grandson later went to Mount Wutai and became a monk there. When he was dying, he had become an immortal and held a funeral according to the specifications of an immortal!

The story ended perfectly, and the kind-hearted temple official finally became an immortal through good deeds, which gave him a beautiful ending to the story. Every time I go home, I see the Temple of the Holy Mother far away, which reminds people of this legend! After all, the legend is a legend. Did the temple official have such a dream? Is there really a group of lamas who have demolished the old temple, without the person involved's personal description, and no information to prove it. In fact, the authenticity of the legend has become very unimportant, and the mythological color itself is perfect enough.
