CHAPTER XIII The Foreign Secretary Palmerston
"I didn't know which beautiful princess insisted on letting her teacher get out of class, but now I'm blaming me!" Albert, who had full of love in his eyes, hugged Victoria in the waist with his left hand, gently stroked Victoria's golden hair with his right hand and said in a doting tone.
"I don't care! It's your fault!" Victoria, 29, still smacked her lips and acted coquettishly at Albert like a child.
Even though the two have been together for 8 years, Victoria's feelings for Albert are as if they were the first time they met.
In Victoria's eyes, Albert, who was the same age as her, was still so handsome.
"That's right! It's my life's fault to know you!" Prince Albert pretended to be serious about Queen Victoria.
Victoria widened her eyes, her scallion-white arms that hooked the back of Albert's neck tightened slightly, as if she would try it again.
However, Albert's next sentence made Victoria smile.
"The kind God has given me the honor to know you! Since I have made mistakes, let God make us both wrong forever... I mistakenly pull the angels into the mortal world, and then shamelessly court them to the angels..." Albert is worthy of being the pride of heaven who graduated from Bonn University. His playful love words made Victoria smile.
The lips collided with the lips and showed a strong love. After the passionate kiss, the spark of love became even stronger.
"Victoria, I..." Albert felt his breathing hot.
Not only breathing, but also the whole body became hot.
The flames in Victoria's eyes became even hotter as if they were about to burn everything.
The sunset outside the window shines on the walls of Buckingham Palace for a long reflection of the day, making the originally magnificent arches that are particularly sacred under the sunlight. A spring spirit permeates the sacred room. Listen to a room in Buckingham Palace and you will hear a burst of panting mixed with depression moans.
...
The rich spring lasted for half an hour and it was over.
The sun sets and night falls.
John Brown, who was responsible for taking care of the daily life of Victoria and his wife, came to the door gently and knocked softly, "Your Highness, Your Majesty, the banquet is about to begin in two hours! Now it's time to wash up!"
"Yeah!" Victoria's lazy voice came from the room, and the subtle sound of flint igniting, and the dark room was ignited.
Through the crack in the door, John Brown, who saw the bright light in the room, quickly gathered the maids in charge of the Victorians' daily life together and waited for the message to be delivered inside.
Nearly 20 minutes later, Albert's strong voice came from the room: "You can come in!"
The door opened, and the maid holding toiletries and necessary cosmetics rushed forward.
Victoria and Albert were fiddled like two dolls who were fiddling with each other. The big red military uniform was worn on Albert, and the gorgeous purple lace long skirt was put on Victoria.
"Dear, I think we two are like two dolls!" Victoria, who disliked the complicated etiquette and outfit, complained to Albert.
"Your Majesty, you are the ruler of the entire Britain! The complicated etiquette is conducive to safeguarding the respect of your subjects! If you are not dressed, I am afraid that Prime Minister Russell will criticize me behind my back again!" Albert responded half-jokingly and half-seriously.
"He dares!" Victoria was like a little female cat with hair blown up: "If he does this, I will dismiss his prime minister!"
In the 19th century when the royal power was not weak, the rights of the kings and emperors were above all secular rules.
Even if the United Kingdom, which is known as constitutional monarchy, as long as Queen Victoria wants, she can abolish the cabinet in one word, and even just need her to hint that those opposition parties will charge for the queen.
The so-called "as long as the cabinet agrees, even if the Queen of England is executed, she can only sign the voting form" is impossible.
The maid standing by the side seemed to have not heard Victoria's "absolute" words and still worked diligently.
From the first day she stayed at Buckingham Palace, she was told that people who were not polite would shut up forever at Buckingham Palace. Every year, people disappeared at Buckingham Palace, and they were all talkative people without exception.
"Victoria, I have told you a long time ago! Rights are not used to squander, and the rights of the Kingdom of Britain are rights based on the Magna Carta! If you want to destroy a cabinet, you don't need to take action yourself..." Prince Albert talked about the wonderful use of "ruling by doing nothing".
It took about an hour to wash and organize. The dressed Queen Victoria and the Queen of War and the husband were led by John Brown to the side hall of Buckingham Palace, where they would host the British Foreign Secretary Parmeston and his wife.
…………
A carriage slowly drove from the dark night towards Buckingham Palace.
Inside the carriage was a man with an oval face, a high nose and thick lips. He was wearing a long black Frak cashmere suit and a large medal hanging on his chest. He was wearing a pair of black silk tight stockings on his lower body. Although his white hair was covered with wrinkles on his face, this did not affect his wisdom at all. His deep and intelligent eyes seemed to see the essence of everything. He was the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Britain, and Parmeston, also known as the Foreign Minister.
On him was a young woman who was far from his age. The young woman who looked only in her 40s and had a charming face was actually 61 years old. Time only left a few scratches of time on her face, but it did not affect the overall appearance of the old woman. She leaned quietly beside Parmeston.
Although the ages are not far apart, it presents a harmonious scene of an old couple.
The old woman was his wife and the widow of Earl Cooper. It had been nine years since Parmeston married her.
During these nine years, the two of them still maintain the passion that only young people have.
"Henry (Parmeston's full name is Henry John Temple Parmeston), what do you think the Queen and the Queen invite us to Buckingham Palace for?" Mrs. Parmeston asked her husband in front of her under the shaking kerosene lamp hanging in the carriage.
"I think it's probably something at work!" Parmeston responded vaguely.
