Chapter 22 Changed

Gu Dechang looked at the white silver in his hand, looked up at his daughter, and asked in surprise: "Xiaoyu, where did the silver come from?"

Gu Huayu smiled playfully at Gu Dechang and replied, "I've earned it. This matter is a long story. Let's talk about it in detail when I get home."

Gu Dechang wanted to ask again, but Fang said first: "Don't worry, third brother, take it, the money is earned by Xiaoyu."

"Xiaoyu made it?" Gu Dechang raised his hand and wanted to ask clearly.

Fang did not give him a chance to ask more questions, so he looked up and signaled to the yard, "There are so many things going on today. Let's go in first. If you have any questions, I'll talk about it later."

Gu Dechang was full of questions, but he knew that this was not the time to explain in detail. So he nodded and replied: "Okay, second sister-in-law, be careful on the road and take good care of Xiaojiao."

Gu Huayu got into the car, waved to Gu Dechang, and said, "Dad, let's go back first."

Gu Dechang waved his hand, looked at the carriage leaving, looked down at the silver in his hand, and felt worried, Xiaoyu seemed to have changed...

Fang looked at Gu Chengjiao, who closed her eyes and rested, tucked her quilt, and then leaned against the backpack to look at Gu Huayu.

Gu Huayu was stared at by Fang and said dryly: "Second uncle, is there gray on Xiaoyu's face?"

Fang shook his head and said quietly: "Xiaoyu, my second uncle thinks you have changed?"

Gu Huayu thought to himself that it was not good, and smiled guiltily, "Has it changed?" Gu Huayu raised his hand to touch his face, and said self-deprecatingly, "Where has it changed? Beautiful? Second uncle is not allowed to make fun of Xiaoyu."

Fang sat up straight and said seriously: "I'm not telling a joke. The feeling you gave me today has changed, but I can't say where it has changed."

Gu Huayu leaned against the not-too-high baffle beside the carriage and said with a smile: "Maybe I talk too little on weekdays. My second uncle was deceived by my appearance of being taciturn and thought I was quiet. Little did I know that I was a person who was not at a loss."

Fang thought about it and nodded seriously, "Well, that's it. We all think that your temperament is too soft, and your mother is worried about this, for fear that you will be bullied. It seems that we have misunderstood."

Gu Huayu smiled and explained: "This is normal. I am weak. Since I was a child, you have been flirting with me and hardly go out and don't contact outsiders. How can you tell your temperament?"

Fang agreed, "That's right. However, judging from what happened today, Xiaoyu is an idea, I like it."

Gu Huayu turned his gaze away from Fang's body, looked at Gu Chengjiao who was sleeping and said, "I have grown up and should protect my family."

Fang followed Gu Huayu's gaze and looked at Gu Chengjiao. She thought she was heartbroken for Gu Chengjiao and comforted her: "Don't be sad Xiaoyu. Xiaojiao's affairs are worried about. The Gu family is also a member of the big clan in Shangtai Village, and they will not watch Xiaojiao be bullied."

Gu Huayu didn't explain, and nodded as Fang's words, "Well, Xiaoyu understands."

When the car passed by Sanhe Town, Gu Huayu asked the coachman to take a detour to the vegetable market.

Gu Huayu looked at the lost Gu Chengjiao and said softly to Fang: "Second uncle, you are waiting with your elder sister in the car. I'll buy some tonics. My elder sister needs to make up for it."

Fang wanted to get up: "I'll go, you'll wait in the car."

Gu Huayu hurriedly stopped him, "No, the second uncle doesn't know what to buy, right? I'll go. Old man, can you follow me and help me move things?" Gu Huayu turned around and ordered the coachman.

The coachman likes the generous Gu Huayu and keeps saying yes.
