Chapter 40 Violent unlocking

"Good afternoon, senior."

Under the noon sun, Matthew greeted Annick in the open space in front of Section 9.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Merlin has arrived?"

"We're already here. Everyone is waiting for you at the door of your office, looking forward to seeing what's in the safe."

"Okay, let's go."

Annick took the safe he had stolen last night to the open ground in the backyard and dug a hole with a shovel.

The ground was freezing and solid in winter. After Annick broke out in a sweat and felt that he could almost bury the safe, he stopped and put the front of the safe in.

Norbert said in a very uninterested way: "Section Chief, are you planning to bury the stolen goods?"

Annick rolled his eyes at him, "I'm afraid your unlocking explosive is too powerful, and if it turns into a bomb, we will explain it to you."

"How come, I prepared it specially. You know that putting the explosive in a steel-shaped funnel will concentrate the explosion energy, and then put a funnel-shaped sheet made of copper in front, so that the heat generated by the explosion will be the same as that of the funnel.

The high pressure will melt the copper into a liquid and then form a high-temperature metal jet, which can destroy the lock without blowing the entire safe."

Isn't this the principle of armor-piercing bullets? I didn't expect that the tank hadn't been invented yet, and my partner's internal combustion engine was still on draft. This guy actually came up with armor-piercing bullets. What a genius.

"Okay, how about you experiment?"

"Let's leave it to you, section chief. Don't you have teleportation? If it explodes, you can run out instantly."

I take back what I just said, this product is not very reliable.

Norbert took out a dark metal can and handed it to Annick. There was a long fuse at the end.

"Just put your head against the lock of the safe, hold it steady, and then light the fuse."

After saying that, Norbert walked back about a hundred yards with the three Merlins, hiding in the corner of the ninth class office building and watching him from a distance.

Annick touched the hymn of life on his left hand, sweat dripping from his head.

"I hope this thing is reliable, at least more reliable than Norbert."

After complaining, Annick placed the lock-picking bomb specially made by Norbert, and then shakily lit a match.

"Bah, bah."

After the fuse was lit, it emitted green smoke and made a sound. It burned faster than expected, and Annick was already halfway ignited in a trance.

"xxx."

Annick turned around quickly and hurriedly activated his skills towards the ninth department office building.

"Teleport!"

In an instant, he appeared 50 yards away from the bomb, and before he had time to think about it, Annick continued to teleport towards the trio.

After teleporting twice in a short period of time, Annick felt like he had been on a roller coaster, or a 720-degree super spin. He just wanted to vomit, and then there was a low explosion sound behind him.

"Boom."

The soil around the pit was blasted into the sky, spewing out a stream of white smoke, and the sand particles even flew a hundred yards away.

"I have a bad premonition about how thick your steel shell is, Norbert."

Then Nolbe compared the thickness to one that was not much thicker than a can.

"Snapped!"

Annick said while holding his forehead.

"You must have made an enlarged frag grenade. If you want to concentrate the energy, you must thicken the shell. It's a good thing I put it in the pit, otherwise we would all be accidentally injured by you."

"Yeah, I wrote it down and will improve it next time."

This kid is completely unaware of his own problem. Annick just hopes that he doesn't blow up the building next time he experiments.

Seeing this, Merlin changed the subject and said, "Let's go and take a look, section chief. If that doesn't work, we can only ask the locksmith to come."

"Okay, let's go take a look."

The four people from Section 9 formed a circle around the explosion site. As expected, the hole dug to bury the safe was enlarged by the bomb. The four walls were covered with iron filings and small steel pieces. If this was in an open space,

It's a perfect anti-infantry weapon.

"Is the A-line explosive so powerful? Nolbe, what did you mix into it?"

"Hey, trade secret."

Annick didn't bother to pursue it, but there was a hole in the safe that was no bigger than a chopstick, and it happened to be right at the lock of the safe.

"Senior, is this considered a success?"

"You'll know after digging it out and taking a look."

Annick didn't waste any time, dug two holes on the edge for his hands to enter, and then picked up the safe. Carrying the box, the four of them returned to the section chief's office.

Without any effort, Annick pulled the handle on the safe, and it clicked open.

The inside of the safe was divided into two layers. There were some coins and some stock certificates on the first layer. Annick took them out and counted them carefully, thirty or forty pounds.

"These are all ill-gotten gains, and of course they must be used for good things. We happen to have four righteous people in need of help. Each of them has eight pounds. What do you think?"

After hearing Annick's speech, Norbert hurriedly said, "Section Chief, I think you are right."

Matthew shook his head and replied: "Senior, isn't this not good?"

"Then you don't want another extraordinary stabbing sword."

Merlin's words directly hit Mashu's weakness, and Mashu didn't object long ago.

"It's stocks, let me take a look."

As expected, Annick's surprise was that it was a Class B stock of Lehman Ceramics, which only received dividends but had no voting rights.

These stocks cannot be exchanged. Annick made a rough estimate and found that they cost at least several thousand pounds. The Leiber family was not that big of a deal. If they exchanged so many stocks at once, they must have guessed something.

"This is considered evidence. Let's see what's in the next pavilion."

The items on the lower floor were quickly picked out, mainly some letters and a metal box with this padlock.

"The three of you are responsible for opening some of the letters and taking a look at them. I will deal with this box."

Annick naturally divided up the work, and then concentrated on dealing with the iron box in front of him.

In front of the bloodthirsty, the padlock easily broke into two pieces. Annick opened the iron box without any effort. There was only a piece of paper lying inside, the most common kind of paper torn from a notepad.

Huh? This was beyond Annick's expectation. He picked it up and took a look. What was recorded on it was beyond Annick's expectation.

Printing press: Several gravure printing presses

Master: A master sculptor who can absolutely keep secrets.

Paper: three-quarters cotton and one-quarter linen, pounded into pulp and made into corresponding sizes.

Ink: corresponding pigment, cumene ferrocene hexafluorophosphate, resin oil, gum oil, volatile petroleum solvent, filler.

Watermark: Printing drum of monarchs of various generations.

Safety wire: copper metal tape with silk thread.

"Tsk, these guys are really playing a big game."

After reading this piece of paper, Annick was convinced that Cobrain was going to make counterfeit coins, which was a big achievement.

"Did you gain anything from that?"

Turning to look at the other three people, Matthew's face turned red. Norbert was laughing while reading the letter. Only Merlin Yun Danfengqing continued to open the envelope.

"this?"
