Chapter 109: Exchange of Identity
There was a commotion at the entrance, and everyone's attention was drawn to it. Two rows of soldiers holding rifles walked in and stood on both sides to form a passage.
General Granger was standing at the entrance with a smile on his face. Today he was wearing a double-breasted general's dress, and the right side of his shirt was covered with various medals.
"The density with which these medals are hung can almost be used as a bulletproof vest. If the Soviet medal emperor were here, he would probably have a lot in common with you."
After complaining, Annick saw Scarlett gesturing towards her.
"Let's go, Matthew."
Matthew was obviously a little regretful that he didn't see the princess in person, and looked over there reluctantly.
"We took the side entrance, but the main entrance is still too conspicuous."
Scarlett explained as they walked, they pushed through the flow of people in the opposite direction, and quickly reached the side door of the headquarters. There were really few guards here, just two women wearing maid-style clothes chatting and guarding the door.
"You guys wait here for a while, I'll go negotiate."
After Scarlett finished speaking, she walked over directly, as if she was very familiar with them, and joined in the chat. She laughed while talking, and then pointed at Annick's side. Due to the distance, Annick didn't know them either.
What was he talking about? I had no choice but to take off my hat in embarrassment and greet him.
Seeing Annick's actions, their laughter grew even louder, and then Scarlett waved to the two of them, indicating that they could pass.
"Let's go in." Scarlett greeted, and then pushed Annick inside hard.
"Come on, even though our lady dumped you, there's no need to be so depressed."
"Speciality is actually quite good, but don't use it in the wrong place."
The maid's voice came from outside the door, and Annick no longer had to guess why they let him in so quickly.
"Senior, have you ever pursued Miss Emma?"
Mashu asked naturally.
"Absolutely not, Miss Scarlett, you molded me into an infatuated man pursuing love, and then after being dumped by Emma, you still shamelessly asked to see me for the last time?"
Looking at Annick's livid face, Scarlett chuckled.
"You do have a high IQ. If we didn't say so, they wouldn't let us in. Women, for the most part, don't dare to gossip about love, and they often sympathize with losers."
"I really appreciate you."
"You're welcome."
Scarlett didn't care about Annick's feelings at all, and continued to lead the two of them to the second floor, stopping at the door guarded by a middle-aged maid.
"Madam, I want to see Emma."
The maid bowed slightly, and then said with a troubled face.
"Miss Scarlett, you know that General Granger gave the order that Miss Emma cannot go out, otherwise we will be blamed."
"It doesn't matter. We are just chatting with Miss Emma. She is not going out. By the way, Her Royal Highness the Princess is here. It is estimated that in ten minutes, General Granger will send someone to ask the Miss to go down and meet the Princess."
"Okay, Miss Scarlett said so. Please."
The maid opened the door and the three of them filed in.
This room is not big. Apart from a single bed, a wardrobe and a row of sofas, there are only some books.
Emma was lying barefoot on the sofa, with her head leaning on the armrest, holding a novel in her hand, which she was reading with relish. The book was not thick, and the title of the book was written in thick black on it, "The Revenge of the Earl."
"You are here."
When she heard the door open, Emma said directly. She didn't put down the book yet, she just said it lazily.
"You are really at ease. You don't worry about the failure of your plan at all."
Annick teased, and then looked at the room. The windows were welded shut by steel bars, leaving only gaps for ventilation. The lighting in the room could only rely on the gas lamp in the room.
"As long as you are here, what can I be afraid of? If you break the promise, I will marry a nobleman and become a rich wife. There is nothing wrong with that."
After Emma finished speaking, she stood up and found some slippers, and then stared at Matthew behind Annick.
"Are you going to get married honestly? You'll probably beat up your prospective fiancé during the engagement ceremony, so that your father will be completely devastated and the engagement will be over."
Annick held his nose while blocking Emma's cannibalistic gaze.
"Tsk, are you so worried about your little girlfriend? I didn't expect you to like cute ones."
"No, I'm just afraid of what you will do to my men. Forget it, prepare to exchange identities quickly."
After Annick finished speaking, he took out four bottles of transformation potion, but fortunately none of them were broken.
"Stingy, but this chick is about the same size and shape as me. Hello, I'm Emma, this bastard's bad friend."
Looking at Emma's extended hand, Matthew quickly shook it and introduced himself: "Hello, Miss Emma, I am Matthew, a member of the ninth department."
Annick didn't say anything more to them. He looked for knives and other items in the room and found a fruit knife next to a plate of apples.
Picking up the knife and opening a bottle of potion, Annick cut his finger with the knife, put a drop of blood in, capped the bottle, and shook it well. The blue potion turned into a light golden color.
"Stop talking nonsense, the potion will only work for an hour. After you finish dressing up, go straight out and go to the black market at the port to find Sandia. We participated in her boxing match last year. She will make arrangements for you.
To a cargo ship, destination is Dunland."
Looking back at the three people in the room, Emma was already hugging Matthew and gesturing with her hands on her waist.
"Okay, don't worry, this girl has a better figure than me."
"Miss Emma, it's itchy."
Annick wiped his sweat and complained: "If you have developed any strange hobbies, please tell me earlier and don't waste my 50 pounds of potion."
"Okay, give me the knife."
Annick handed over the knife and the potion, and the three of them cut their fingers with the knife and dripped them into the potion.
"Exchange potions, remember not to get the wrong potion."
Annick took Scarlett's bottle, opened it, and drank it with his eyes closed.
A burning sensation started from the esophagus, followed the flow of the potion, and spread to the stomach. Then Annick felt that his face was burning, his scalp was itchy, and his chest seemed to be a little hot and he felt a little swollen.
Although he didn't know what he had done, he could guess his changes when he saw Scarlett.
Scarlett's edges changed from soft to hard, her eyes changed from brown to the same green as hers, her hair quickly shortened as if taken into account, and then changed from blonde to light brown, and her skin turned into wheat color.
Her breasts also became flat, and then they became exactly the same as her real appearance.
"This is really magical." Scarlett said, touching her hand.
It's a pity that the voice hasn't changed, it's still the same soprano.
"Ma'am, when you go out later, don't speak until you are pregnant, and learn to lower your voice when you speak."
"Pfft, Annick, you do have such a rough voice with a pretty face like Scarlett. It's so interesting."
"Stop talking and change clothes."
After Annick finished undoing his pants, he was almost deafened by a piercing scream.
