Chapter 57(1/2)

Kamikake and Morito said goodbye to each other and returned to the inner world.

Hanoi showed his waist card and the two successfully entered the palace gate.

This palace gate is facing the Suzaku Avenue, which is the main gate.

The Red Spider Demon rushed out of the palace from here and the scene of Kūkai chasing him, and the guards at the palace gate and the people on the Suzaku Avenue saw it.

Therefore, the guards at the palace gate all cast admirational eyes on Konghai.

Kamikake was worried about Shizumi, but he didn't sense anything wrong. He believed that nothing else had happened in the palace and felt at ease.

"Then, please take the monk to other palace gates to inspect, and then go to each palace and garden to ensure safety." Kōkai said to Hanoi.

Hanoi is usually pampered and has a good life. Today, he has to accompany the Kawai to patrol the various palaces and palaces of Heian Kyoto, and he can't help but complain: "It's such a hard work."

But this is the imperial order of Emperor Saga, and it is necessary to ensure the safety of the palace.

Hanoi twisted his fat buttocks and walked in front of him, thinking in his mind: "What should I do? The palace is so big, walking is not a good idea."

In Heian Kyo, the emperor's residence is called the inner lily, and the inner lily is divided into three parts: inner heavy (inside Chengming Gate), middle heavy (outside Chengming Gate, Jianli Gate), and outer heavy (outside Jianli Gate, Zhuque Gate).

Hanoi's eyes rolled, and there was a way: "Master Kukai, the palace is so big, it's a waste of time for us to walk, so why not ride a horse, right? If the master doesn't mind, the villain will arrange it."

"Indeed, riding a horse can save time." Kooka thought this idea was a good one.

Hanoi heard Kukai agree: "Since the master agrees, please wait here."

Hanoi turned his head and ran towards the palace gate, and soon led two horses.

Horses were an important means of transportation in ancient times, so equestrianism was a necessary basic skill.

Kokai is familiar with equestrianism. He jumped and sat steadily on the back of the horse.

Hanoi and Kōkai ride on horseback and can quickly patrol the palace gate.

In ancient imperial palaces, horse riding was not allowed, unless there was an emergency military report, the horse could be driven into the palace.

Hanoi has an imperial order to assist Kōkai, and Kōkai also received Kōkai's approval. He sat on horseback and inspected the palace, which was so majestic.

In the Heianjing Palace, there are twelve doors with outer weights, six doors with middle weights, and twelve doors with inner weights.

The earliest name of the Twelve Gates of the Outer Duong was named after the clan name of the Guard Division. When the Hall Gate was changed in 818 AD, it was unified into the name of the Tang Fengmen.

Zhuque Gate - guarded by the descendant of Tianren Riming Daban. It was formerly known as Daban Gate (sometimes called Nanmen), and is the main gate in the center of the outer south. It is built in the form of Chongge Imperial Gate. It is taller and wider than other palace gates.

Imperial Gate - guarded by Ruo Inukai Corps. The new Imperial Gate Courtyard was formerly known as Ruo Inukai Gate, and was the palace gate on the west side of Suzaku Gate, and was responsible for guarding its safety by Uemon Mansion.

Tantian Gate - guarded by Rensheng. It was formerly known as Yushou Gate, which was the southernmost gate on the west side of the outer Chong. On the left and right sides of this gate are the official houses of Zuo Maliao and Youmaliao, so it is also known as Maliao Imperial Gate.

Zaobi Gate - guarded by the Sabuki clan who is close to the Daban clan. It was formerly known as the Sabuki clan, and it was the palace gate on the north side of Tantian Gate, also known as the Xizhong Imperial Gate.

Yinfu Gate - guarded by the Yifu tribe clan. It was formerly known as the Yifu Division, and it was the west gate on the north side of the Zaobi Gate. Since the north side of the gate is the official residence of the Right Guard Mansion, it is also known as the Xiyue Guard Imperial Gate.

Shangxi Gate - The newly Shangxi Gate is the northernmost gate on the west side of the outer gate. Since this gate is specially designed for transporting goods, the design is very simple and does not belong to the twelve gates of the outer gate.

Anjia Gate - guarded by the Haitujiao Company. It was formerly known as the Haitujiaomen, and it was the westernmost gate on the north side of the outer gate. The inside of the gate was the official house of Hyoguliao, so it is also known as Hyoguliao (Si) Imperial Gate.

Weijian Gate - guarded by Zhuyang. It was formerly known as Pig Envoy (Pig Peak) Gate, which was the gate in the center of the north side of the outer gate. It was guarded by Zuoemon Mansion and Yuemon Mansion, which were taken turns for one year respectively. It is also known as Xuanwu Gate or does not open the door.

Dazhimen - guarded by Danzhi Bilian (Danbi), the descendant of Huo Mingming. It was formerly known as Danzhi Bimen or Danbimen, and it is the east gate facing the north.

Shangdong Gate - The Shangdong Gate corresponding to the west of the new Shangdong Gate Courtyard is the northernmost gate on the east side of the outer city. On the east side is Tuyumen Road. Along the way, most of the palaces of senior court officials are located. Therefore, most court officials who have finished the affairs of the palace use this gate to leave the imperial city and return to their residences.

Yangming Gate - guarded by the Shan family. The new Yangming Gate Court was formerly called Shan Department or Shanmen, located on the south side of the upper east gate, and the north side of the gate was the official house of the Left King Guard Mansion, so it is also called the King Guard Imperial Gate. In 785 AD, the name of the Shanbu clan was simplified to a mountain, so it was renamed Shanmen in April 818.

The Waixian Gate is guarded by the Jianmen clan. The new Waixian Gate Court was formerly known as the Jian Department, and it is the gate on the south side of the Yangming Gate, also known as the Zhongyu Gate.

Yufang Gate - Guard of Yudi. The formerly known as the gate is the southernmost gate on the east side of the outer gate. On the north side of the gate is the official house of the Daqiu Dian, so it is also called the Daqiu Imperial Gate.

Meifu Gate - guarded by Rensheng. It was formerly known as Rensheng Imperial Gate, which was the gate on the east side of the south side of the outer city and was guarded by the Left Guard Mansion.

Entering from Jianli Gate is the six gates of Zhongzhong.

Jianli Gate - located in the center of the south side of the middle and central, corresponding to the Chengming Gate of the inner central.

Xiuming Gate - located on the west side of Zhongzhong, with Jianli Gate on the east side and Chunhua Gate on the east side.

Yiqiu Gate - located in the center of the west side of Zhongzhong. There is a straight road inside the gate, which directly leads to the Yinming Gate of Neichong.

Shuoping Gate - located in the center of the north of the middle and central, corresponding to the Xuanhui Gate of the inner central.

Jianchun Gate - located in the center of the east side of the Central Chong, corresponding to the Xuanyang Gate in the inner Chong.

Chunhua Gate - located on the east side of Zhongzhong, with Jianli Gate on the west side and Xiuming Gate on the west side.

Entering from Chengming Gate means inner weight, which is also the twelve inner weight gates of the Emperor's daily life.

Xuanhui Gate - the gate in the center of the north of the Imperial Hall.

Chengming Gate - the gate in the center of the south side of the Imperial Hall.

Xuanyang Gate - the gate to the center of the east side of the Imperial Hall.

Yinming Gate - is the gate in the center of the west side of the imperial hall.

Changle Gate - located on the east side of Chengming Gate to the south of the Imperial Hall.

Yong'an Gate - Located on the west side of Chengming Gate to the south of the Imperial Hall.

Wude Gate - located on the south side of Yinming Gate to the west of the Imperial Hall.

Youyimen - Located on the north side of Yinming Gate on the west side of the Imperial Hall

Hui'anmen - Located on the west side of Xuanhuimen on the north side of the Imperial Hall

Anxi Gate—located on the east side of Xuanhui Gate on the north side of the Imperial Hall

Jiayang Gate—located on the north side of Xuanyang Gate on the east side of the Imperial Hall

Yanzheng Gate—located on the south side of Xuanyang Gate on the east side of the Imperial Hall

The two of them started from the Suzaku Gate and surrounded the palace, inspecting the outside, middle and inner gates in total 30 gates.

The twelve gates of the outer heavy gates are the outermost layer of the imperial city, and are guarded by heavy troops.

There are guards guarding the six gates in the middle and the twelve gates in the inner and twelve gates.

Kūkai carefully observed the palace gate.

The palace gate of the palace should have "protective Dharma and land", but in the midst of the Godless Moon, all the Japanese guardians left their original position and gathered in Izumo.

Each door has no "protective law" to protect it, so each door is useless.

Heavy troops guarding him, but he cannot protect the invasion of the "six paths of sentient beings".

"It's true that it's like entering a no-man's realm. Where have the auspicious beasts guarded gone?" Kooka was puzzled.

Within the imperial city, there are guardian auspicious beasts on the top of each palace, and ordinary sentient beings in the six realms cannot easily enter the imperial city.

Unless it is allowed, for example, in the Shang Dynasty in China, the nine-tailed fox entered King Zhou's palace as Tan Ji.

The outermost layer of the imperial city is inside the twelve gates. There are guarded auspicious beasts on the roof of the imperial palace, but Kūkai cannot sense the auspicious beasts.

The auspicious beast Xie Zhi in Zhaoyang House was trapped, and the other auspicious beasts were missing. Why is this happening?

When Kooka arrived yesterday, it was not like this. Was it last night...?

All auspicious beasts were confined overnight, and they were very powerful opponents. What happened?

"The current imperial city has a wide open door, and a barrier must be set up immediately."

"Cross the palace gate first", Kōkai stretched out his hands and closed his chest. He sat on the horse, danced with his hands, and made the "Ship of the Subduing Seal".

This handprint is bound inside the hands, fire and wind fingers pop out, water finger nails bent in 7 characters, empty fingers press water finger nails.

Unable to see with naked eyes...

Within the Dharma Eye:

【Transformed into a huge golden handprint, reaching the heavens, standing within 30 palace gates.

The golden light of the handprint extends along the palace gate and the wall.

30 golden hand seals connect the palace gate and the wall with golden light.

Heavy outside, heavy inside, heavy inside, three golden lights and three barriers, and they are full of brightness in the Dharma Realm.]

The "Ship of the Slayer Subduing Seal" is stamped in front of each palace gate, connecting the palace gate with the city wall, and Konghai sets up a protective barrier for the imperial city.

The Tantric hand seal evolved from the most basic 12 hand seals and 6 types of boxing seals, called the Seal Mother.

The inner bonding hand seal is one of the six types of boxing seals and is also the seal mother. From this hand seal, other hand seals often evolve into this.

Tantra uses fingers from small to large, name them by earth, water, fire, wind, air, and only by remembering these names can you make a handprint.

Is it safe?

Is this safe?

not enough!

"The three barriers are obviously not enough. What kind of Bodhisattva should be used to protect the imperial city?" Kooka had no idea for a moment.

Kooka was worried, but he didn't show his face: "Who is the enemy? It's more powerful than I thought, and it seems that he knows everything in the palace."
