Chapter 21: The World Chess Game

A book appeared in Qin Lingge's hand, and it was obvious that the wind was not blowing, but the pages were "rustling".

"There are talents in the country, but fortunately they meet Zhenren Qi for fate." Qin Lingge said slowly, "The true master of Qi is the first of his eight generations of disciples of the Taoist sect. Over the years, he has traveled north and south and galloped overseas. He killed Buddhist immortals not long ago. He has made great achievements and everyone knows it. I am a scholar who is powerless, of course I dare not compete with Zhenren Qi for force. If I quote the scriptures and talk about the mythology, I have lost to Zhenren Zhang, so there is no need to compete again."

Everyone is waiting for the following text, and everyone knows that this is called suppressing the desire to promote first.

Sure enough, Qin Lingge paused for a moment and continued, "What about we not compare to the force of the army, the argument, or the ideas today?"

Qi Xuansu said: "There are guests at the door, and the host follows the guests' wishes."

Qin Lingge raised the book in his hand: "Song Zheng, the leader of the Western Taoist Sect, invited Zhan Xuansheng to hold a book in his hand. He wanted to use the world as a chessboard and the people as a chess piece to explore a 'if', and through their own ideas, deduce another past and future in the world in the book. Today, we might as well follow the example of the Taoist Sect's predecessors and explore the 'if' with ideas."

Qi Xuansu looked at the book in Qin Lingge's hand and said one word: "Okay."

The people watching the battle have different expressions and reactions.

"It turned out to be the 'Tian Chess Game', which is indeed difficult to deal with."

"It seems that the court came prepared."

"Even if the little master is superman in martial arts, he still has no advantage."

"Not only that, it is difficult for other immortal objects to perform their effects. This immortal object is not used to kill people."

"I think it's a bit lingering this time."

"The little master is afraid he will fall."

"So scheming, so scheming."

This immortal object is indeed famous. It is not from the hands of the saints of the mind or the Neo-Confucianism, but from the more ancient sages.

At that time, the Supreme Master led his disciples to travel around the world and asked the Taoist ancestors of the Supreme Taoism on the way. These disciples were the seventy-two sages who later created the foundation of Confucianism.

One of them was Ran Zi. He wrote a travel notation while traveling with the Supreme Master, recording what he saw and heard and the words and deeds of the Supreme Master. However, the Confucian school at that time was far from being the only one that was today. There were many rivals such as the various schools of thought, and even the Supreme Taoist Ancestor was still in the world, even the Supreme Master was not invincible in the world. For example, the great disciple of the Supreme Master died under swords and weapons, and was hit by someone before his death. This sage left the last words of "a gentleman who died will inevitably be crowned" and then died. Ran Zi also died in an accident, leaving only this unfinished travel notation.

After Ran Zi's death, the Supreme Master lamented that he "destroyed him, his destiny is gone!" Then he took away this travel notation and continued to write the travel notation, never leaving him for a moment.

When the Holy Master was about to die, he wrote the words "The dead are like this, and he will never leave day and night" in his travel notes, which means that everything in the past is like a rushing river, and it is passing by day and night, and it will never return, and it will feel that the world is impermanent and the rapid change.

After the death of the Supreme Master, this unfinished travel notation actually brought about new changes and began to derive stories on its own. With Ran Zi's travel notation as the background, it self-deduces the various development trends of its later developments.

Among them are how the Supreme Sages and the disciples of the Supreme Sages and the Confucian scholars established Confucian scholars, and then the Confucian scholars fought against each other, and the Legalists were independent, and the ancestor dragons were unified; there was also the Red Emperor killing the white snake and replacing the ancestor dragon, and then the Confucian scholars fought against each other, and the Confucian scholars won a great victory, and the Confucian scholars were abolished and respected Confucian scholars only. After that, there were Taiping Taoism, Tianshi's rebellion, three divisions of the world, two dynasties in the north and south, and thousands of years of troubled times, and there were prosperous times. The Empress was in the dynasty, and when the Great Jin established a country, the Golden Treasures went south, the Great Wei expelled the Golden Treasures, etc.

To this day, this travel notes are still writing stories on their own. They are an endless book and will never be finished.

The reason why it is said to be a story is that it is different from the real history. There are more people and fewer people. Some damned people have not died, while others have died, which leads to a deviation from the historical records. Therefore, people in Confucianism call it stories, or in other words, they are similar and different from the present world.

Qin Lingge looked at Qi Xuansu and said slowly: "There is a golden house in the book, and the beautiful woman in the book."

As soon as he finished speaking, Qi Xuansu and Qin Lingge began to rise continuously. The travel notes flew between the two and turned into a huge chess board. The two were sitting on the left and right sides of the chess board. White clouds emerged and turned into seats for the two to sit down.

Looking at this chessboard again, it is not the Chu River and Han Circle, nor the 19 roads across the board, but the vast world, the two capitals and 19 states, the Golden Horde, the Bhasa Continent, Borneo, Fenglin Continent, the Western Continent, the New Continent, and the Four Seas and Three Continents.

On land, mountains, cities, villages, rivers, roads, farmlands, mountains and forests are clearly visible. On the ocean, islands, ships, winds and waves are also clearly visible.

Immediately afterwards, a red sun rose from where Qi Xuansu was, surrounding it, and then fell on the other side where Qinling Pavilion was. Then the bright moon came out to the sea, revolving around. In addition to the rising and falling sun, there are also misty rain, summer thunder, autumn wind, heavy snow, four seasons rotate, life, death, wither and prosperity.

A mere chess board is full of all kinds, with all kinds of weather, including the sun, moon, stars, mountains, rivers, plants, flowers, birds, fish and insects, and the four seasons are all in it.

Taking the world as the chess game and all living things as the chess pieces is the mystery of this Confucian immortal object.

The Confucian philosophy is very different from that of Buddhism and Taoism. It takes the world as the foundation and the world as the governance of the country as the concept, so this chess game is more in line with the Confucianism.

Since the chessboard is different from the ordinary nineteen vertical and horizontal lines, the chess pieces are also very different. The two people need to separate out some souls, enter the chessboard, turn into chess pieces, and enter the game with their bodies.

Whoever can win the world will win, and if the key piece dies, it will also fail.

In the eyes of the audience, there is a superlative perspective and the specific situation is clear at a glance, but both sides of the game cannot directly see the other party's chess pieces.

Qin Lingge asked, "Guess first?"

Qi Xuansu pondered for a moment: "No, please let Mr. Qin go first."

Qin Lingge smiled slightly: "Zhen Qi is really brave, but sometimes, every step is slow, and I hope Zhen Qi will not regret it."

After saying that, Qin Lingge bounced his fingers and had already separated a ray of soul and a thought, and combined it into a soul that looked like a dot of light, falling towards the chessboard below.

Qi Xuansu also followed the same thing, condensed into a light-shaped soul, and said lightly: "There is no regrets to make a move."

Before he finished speaking, Qi Xuansu made a move with a flick of his fingers.

Two light spots are first and then placed on the chessboard, just like the immortals in the sky falling into the mortal world.

The game officially begins.

The stories in the book are uncertain, and the same world will evolve into countless stories, just like countless different world lines and countless parallel worlds.

Today's world is the Great Xuan Jiushi period, and it is the world of Taoism.

However, the story chosen by Qi Xuansu and Qin Lingge was in the Yongli period of the Great Wei Dynasty, and it was the world of Confucianism.

During the reign of Emperor Shenzong of the Great Wei Dynasty, Xuan Sheng died unexpectedly at the hands of the earth master Xu Zu. The internal struggle of the Taoist sect continued to break up, resulting in a failure, and the Confucian sect finally defeated one by one. Therefore, this world is still the Confucian sect, and the Great Wei Dynasty was able to extend for more than 200 years.

This is what is called "there are more people and fewer people". Some people who deserve to die have not died, while others who do not die have died, which is different from the real world and enters another completely different line.

The two of them fell into chess pieces and threw themselves into the Confucian world in this game, replacing a character in the book.

It is like a reincarnation and rebirth of the immortal in heaven, carrying the destiny of heaven.
