Chapter 6 Bones
When they first saw the skeleton, Li Kaiwen and Dai Bing couldn't help but take a breath.
The skeleton is located in a rock crevicle in the middle of the Great Rift Valley in East Africa. It is said to be a rock crevicle, but in fact the base is quite wide and the area is hundreds of square meters.
At first, a Sino-US cooperation expedition team accidentally walked into the place while excavating the fossils of the Southern Ape. The weather in Africa was quite hot, so they hid in this huge shadow for a brief rest. But then an American scientist discovered the unusual part of the rock crack - the hole inward was about ten meters, and the surface of the hole wall was extremely smooth, as if it had been artificially carved.
So they set off a flashlight and continued to walk deep into the cave, wanting to see if they could find the remains of prehistoric human activities.
No one expected that the rock crack was quite long - along a slope and the temperature was getting lower and lower. After they walked hundreds of meters away - they should have been more than ten meters underground at this moment - they discovered what was now appearing in front of Li Kaiwen and Dai Bingcheng.
The skeletons more than two meters high were sealed in huge ice cubes and embedded on the stone walls. The surrounding rocks had obvious signs of erosion by ice and snow. A scientist once speculated that this long large crevicle should have been filled with a whole piece of ice a long time ago.
The skeleton looks quite terrifying. It seems to be the bones of a primate, but the bones are covered with hideous bone spurs. There are slender cones like long blue horns on the knees, elbows, and even the spine. What is most noticeable is its skull - the two coiled horns on the forehead are almost as big as the skull itself, and they look like the demon horns in Western myths and legends.
An American scientist, also a devout Catholic, even though it was the second time he saw this skeleton, he kept scribing a cross on his chest and muttered to himself: "My Lord... the devil really exists..."
Some parts of the skeleton's body were covered with dry fur. The hairs were black, thick and straight, as if made of steel, reflecting lights in the ice.
This thing is unprecedented, and the only thing that can be confirmed is that it may belong to a primate, a mammal, and may have some relative relationship with modern humans. However, people have never seen fossils of the same type before.
Just looking at the bone in front of you, you can imagine how fierce and huge beast it was when it was alive. The uneven canine teeth in its mouth showed that this guy was not a vegetarian, and he should have been one of the few creatures on the earth at the top of the food chain at that time.
After amazement, the Chinese began to cut the huge ice cube.
George Smith, the representative of the US scientist, tried to stop this barbaric behavior. He angrily found the representative of the Chinese side of the trip, Major Dai Bingcheng, protested: "This investigation is a joint project between the United States and China. You have no right to unilaterally take our discovery for yourself - or on the land of the Republic of Kenya! This is neither the property of the Americans nor the property of the Chinese. It should belong to the Republic of Kenya-"
Dai Bingcheng looked at him with a smile, and handed him a document in his hand: "You make sense. We should respect the local legal customs. So please confirm this document - the local Kenyan government has agreed to hand over this thing to China for management."
George calmed down, then took the document and expanded it.
Then he found in despair that at the legal level, this thing is now owned by the Chinese.
Dai Bingcheng waved his hand and said, "Business starts!"
Several Americans wanted to rush forward to argue, but George stopped them and pulled them aside from a distance. The former black man asked him with his eyes, "Just give it to them?"
George didn't say anything, but handed him the document and clicked a little bit of the final signature of the document: "Look here."
The black man frowned and looked over and found that the signing unit of China was "Special Affairs Office of the Empire of China".
So he held the document and was stunned for a long time before gritting his teeth and said, "Compared with these people... our bureaucrats are as stupid as a pig!"
A young assistant leaned over and looked at it, and asked blankly: "What does this special affairs office mean?"
The black man glanced at him and asked coldly: "Have you heard of CIA?"
"Of course I've heard of it." The young man replied.
The black man looked at Dai Bingcheng in the distance, and his eyes became more wary: "They are CIAs in CIA."

The cutting work was not going smoothly - the ice was extremely strong and harder than granite. The Chinese side finally used large equipment and took a whole day and night to remove the bones from the ice. Then cut the ice beside it into regular rectangles and put them into the biological cabin.
During this period, several workers were severely frostbite - when the ice cube shattered, it burst out with a very low temperature, and the ear closest to the person was frozen off on the spot. Only then did people know that the temperature of this rock crack was so low, not because it was far from the ground, but because it was the effect of this piece of ice.
Such things that go against common sense mean in the eyes of Dai Bingcheng and Lee Kai-wen: they are here right.
Dai Bingcheng nodded to Li Kaiwen: "Old Li, you try it."
So Li Kaiwen walked to a piece of broken ice and squatted down, frowned and cut a small hole in the belly of his little finger with a knife, squeezed out a drop of blood and dripped on the ice.
With a slight "swish", the bright red blood drops seemed to fall on the hot iron plate, and a gust of white air suddenly rose, leaving only a trace of burnt black.
Dai Bingcheng changed his face and shook his head for a long time: "What a violent reaction. This..."
"At least it's C-level." Li Kaiwen stood up, his face swept away the gloom of the previous one, and there was a look of confidence. "It may be B-level. Let's go one step further... A-level is not impossible."
Dai Bingcheng looked at him, then looked at the thing in the biological cabin: "Are you sure?"
"This, trust me." Li Kaiwen pinched his little finger, "You will be sure when you can get a piece of bone on its body."
"You said yes." Dai Bingcheng smiled bitterly, "I heard that you are right in the North Court... It's not a good thing to be too efficient in your work. Just because of your words, we have to rush back overnight."
The two of them looked at the huge green skeleton lying quietly in the cabin, and inexplicably felt a sense of awe in their hearts. If this thing was determined to be not artificial, then...
The history of this world may be rewritten.
