Chapter 15 Zola

According to Eric's memories of those secret villains in his previous life, these evil people seemed to have an indissoluble bond with the smelly sewers, so when Sharon Carter led him to the sewer system in New Jersey, the soul of complaints in his heart could not help but start to burn.

"I said, are those evil bosses separated from the unique stench of the sewer and there will be no inspiration for the evil plan to destroy the world?"

Sharon ignored his complaints and explained while walking along the path beside the sewage, "We also obtained some unproven situations from inside a day ago, saying that these modified species that fuse the divine biological genes may have hidden an experimental base below New Jersey. I happened to be in charge of following you in New Jersey, so we just came first. If there is any situation, more people may be sent to the top."

"To put it nicely, it's the investigator, to put it badly, it's the cannon fodder for the way out." Eric murmured in a low voice.

Sharon heard it, but just smiled slightly and did not refute anything.

In fact, she knew that there was another reason why her superiors arranged for her to bring Eric here, but she didn't say it. Both her and her superiors were eager to know one thing now - how strong can that armor exert? Should it be classified as a threat of uncontrollable level to be supervised?

The two went down the iron ladder to the sewer. Sharon's flashlight was carrying a conical beam, and the semicircular light projected onto the moss-covered brick wall. The sewer section was semicircular, and narrow passages were left on both sides of the canal for passage. They walked along the narrow passage, and the light shone on the black water from time to time, illuminating the foul-smelling foul-smelling floating on the water.

Before they walked far, the two of them reached the end of this dirty water pipe, and the front suddenly became clear. The space dug up just below an office building was seven or eight meters high, and the whole was circular. There was a sound of rolling water in several huge drains around them. Tons of water poured out from the drains and fell into a huge circular black hole in the center like a waterfall, with a radius of about twenty meters.

This is the waste disposal factory they abandon, which is equivalent to a waste station. After using unnecessary equipment, materials or other things, they will be specially treated at the bottom after dumping them... Maybe there are still people.

Bypassing the circular black hole, a low and narrow passage was ushered in front of him. The ventilation fan was stirred dullly, the paint on the rusty walls had begun to peel off, and the air was filled with an annoying atmosphere. The fluorescent light was illuminated bleakly above Eric's head, and he couldn't help but tense up.

In front of the light green iron gate directly opposite the black hole, the two looked at each other, nodded, and kicked open the door panel together.

It's what they're looking for.

Darkness enveloped the entire room like dark clouds, and the only light source was from the neatly lined petri dishes in the room. The dim and weird green light transmitted out of the glassware, barely illuminating the radius of less than one meter around it, creating a supernatural atmosphere. Among the countless petri dishes standing in this room that could not be seen, a non-human creature was suspended behind each layer of glass. Although they were all asleep with their eyes closed, you could clearly feel the suffocating pressure.

It seems they have found the right place, but...

"What's wrong?" Eric whispered.

Sharon nodded: "Well, it should be a very deep hidden and highly valued laboratory, but it seems that there is no defense system at all. I suspect that it is like a bold pipe cleaner who can find here unintentionally..."

"That's because those short-sighted idiots gave up on this place!"

The heavy male voice echoed in the air, reverberating in this dark space just like it was played with a low-quality audio. The two of them hurriedly became alert, and a thin outline appeared in the darkness.

It was a man wrapped in a windbreaker. He was covered in black from head to toe, and even his face was wrapped, revealing only a pair of eyes that were flickering like a fox-like cunning and fierce. His figure was as thin as a flagpole bent by the wind. His voice seemed to be released through a loudspeaker, but his voice was as turbid as if it was on the lowest sound quality.

Sharon pointed a pistol at the man's head at the first moment and shouted loudly: "Who are you?"

"Anime Zora." The man reported his name openly and added, "To prevent you from thinking that I am a fake with a duplicate name, I will explain in advance - I am not. I am the only one, like the fake Anim Zora, who is loyal to the great Hydra."

Sharon's face changed: "Impossible!? Anim Zora would have died long ago. If he was still alive now, then he already had..."

"I'm over a hundred years old, yes, it's me." The man said and chuckled proudly, and the laughter echoed through the loudspeaker in this weird room.

When talking about "Hydra", Eric immediately remembered such a character in the comics. Dr. Zora is a bioengineer for Hydra, and is likely the best biological genius in the world and the developer of a large number of cutting-edge weapons of Hydra. However, according to the content of the comic, this guy should have lived to this day by transferring his consciousness to the machine's body. It seems a bit different now.

However, Eric knew that this was not the original Marvel or DC universe, but it was more likely to be one of the countless multiverses of the two sides. There were not such precedents in the comics, so he was mentally prepared for what might happen to different changes in the comics.

Is Hydra related to the armor he has in hand...and his parents?

"Since World War II, there has never been a genius like me in the great Hydra!" Zora raised her tone, and the sound that came out through the loudspeaker seemed extremely strange. "And now, my research has finally made a breakthrough! With the help of these mythical creatures, I can complete the evolution of the entire human species! Think about it, this is the greatest achievement that no great man in history has ever accomplished!"

"But countless madmen have already fantasized about it. I think the fence-bearer who has been recently probably has been tall." Eric complained.

Zora's pair of thieves shot a fierce light like a sharp knife in his eyes, as if he was about to pierce Eric's heart.

"It's all you! And your self-righteous father's fault!" He roared loudly, "It is because of your stupid 'Asmodraft System', my hard work, and my research fell to this point - gradually becoming stinky in a corner of a city's ditch that no one knows about, and they are fend for themselves!"

Eric's expression changed: "You know what happened to my father."

"Yes, but I didn't plan to tell you that simple."
