Chapter 162 Ghost

Utah Desert, 1938.

That was when the world war was about to break out, and the entire earth was filled with the smell of gunpowder. The countries were eyeing each other, maintaining their own territory while planning to further expand their territory without exception.

It was during this period that Americans sent a prayer to the universe.

Top American scientists sent a simple mathematical equation to space because although they knew nothing about whether there were other civilizations in the universe, they believed that natural science should be universal even in the universe. It was their way of conveying messages to aliens - a deliberately added wrong equation, which came up with a number larger than the sum of its parts, meaning that one plus one is greater than two, let us unite and go hand in hand.

Just in the Utah Desert, eleven seconds after the message was successfully launched, the echo came, which came far faster than everyone expected. A ball of flame wrapped around the alien spacecraft and fell from the sky, and a high-rise air wave burst into the middle of the desert. It has an ugly shape based on the aesthetic of the earthlings, but the material of the shell is smooth and firm, better than most metals on the earth. Its engine is shining with dark green light, and the exhaust port is breathing with strange green gas.

It was a gift from God. The spaceship carved an extremely similar equation, but it was much more complicated than the one sent by the Earthlings. It was embedded with codes and formulas, like tiny vortexes in a river. Although it was very short, it brought technology enough to turn a planet into earth.

However, this was discovered later. The first thing people at the scene noticed was another gift from God - an alien. He came out of the thick green smoke from the falling spaceship, and stared at his scarlet eyes strangely looking at the environment and humans on the earth.

This creature is the origin of everything and the beginning of everything.

Many years later, a few hundred feet below the salt flat, Superman is standing side by side with this creature in the military's top secret base. The ceiling above his head is hung with fighter jets from all ages and countries from eighty years ago to the present, exuding a strong atmosphere of the times, like a large museum with space of tens of thousands of square meters.

"Okay, I still don't understand very much." Superman frowned, "What is it for here?"

"This is my home," said the big black guy. "Here, I am called 'ghost' - this is a love name, referring to 'William Rudolph'. On the day I landed on Earth seventy-five years ago, General Rudolph convinced President Roosevelt to agree to build this facility for me, and he accepted me and brought me here. He was the first father in my memory. Look, I still have his statue."

"Okay...right..." Superman looked along his gaze and saw a statue of General Rudolph made of pure gold. He was wearing a long military robe and holding a binocular for the battlefield in his hand.

"I know we have never met before, Superman." The ghost held his hands behind his back, like the host who welcomed him, "But I hope you know that we are on the same front. We have had several confrontations when you didn't know, and I admire you very much."

"General Rudolph created machines for research, and spent his whole life understanding and applying the equations and techniques brought to the earth by ghosts, which made unimaginable great progress for us." General Ryan walked slowly behind the two and spoke lightly, "For example, Nagasaki...I assume you have learned about human history, right? Superman?"

"Yes." Superman said lightly, "one of the two atomic bombs that were first to detonate in the world."

"Yes, this is what history books are written." General Ryan nodded, saying, "At that time we had only one atomic bomb, and the Hiroshima one was real. And on Nagasaki, we dropped the ghost himself, who made the world mistakenly think that we have more. This is what I want to express, Superman, today the world has taken a big step forward from the past, all of which are attributed to ghost, and his understanding of what is a true hero."

Superman argued: "But the public..."

"Ha, 'public'!" General Ryan said excitedly, "I knew you would say that, which is why I hate you, Superman. It's not because you are an alien, nor because you are too powerful - in fact, I have always had a stronger ace than you. The fact that I have never been able to speak up is that you are a coward. The dictator of the Sultan is Markland's warlord. Do you want this world to be better? Oh, we took action. Every minute you just say but don't practice is that you decide to let the suffering people stay in dire straits for one more minute, and every life is counted on you, Superman. What I want me to say..."

"...You are a vicious murderer."

Nova Scotia.

"Are you sure you are here?" Raven asked in disbelief as he followed Eric and flew here.

Eric landed, lifted the green light mode, and temporarily switched back to normal form. He looked around. This was a dense jungle, and the trees surrounding them looked at least hundreds of years old, and each tree seemed to rush into the sky, as if it was beyond the reach of the sky. The green lawn covered the damp soil, and every step fell softly.

"Ah, that's right." Eric said, "When the Ascension or someone else set up a link to my armor system, my nerves were closely connected to the armor system. In other words, I was also online at that time. Through reverse tracking, I probably saw such a place in my mind, but it was not very accurate."

Since Tony hadn't figured out why the armor was hacked, he decided not to come with them for the time being to "ascension" for the time being. As for Spider-Man, he was afraid that Aunt May would worry about going home first because of time.

While the two continued to walk in, Raven's cloak was accidentally hung by a wet wooden branch. She frowned slightly and pulled off her cloak, saying, "Will that high-tech organization called "Ascension" hide in the cave in the primitive jungle?"

"Well, maybe they have some great bases." Eric said, "If you watch more movies, you will know that they always like to hide secret bases in jungles, mountains, etc., and maybe they will hide traps such as machine gun barrels in the jungle..."

Before he could finish his speech, several afterimages suddenly emerged from the surrounding bushes. It was like a group of uniquely shaped machines suddenly rushed out, surrounding the two of them. They either held some guns that people might not have heard of, or pinched swords with unique energy, and their formation was like an iron barrel.

If General Ryan saw this scene, he would definitely be surprised - this group of hackers who claimed to be "ascending to heaven" actually had the same technology as the technology they were proud of.

"I'm such a crow's mouth," Eric said, suddenly "ah" and turned to the raven, "When I say 'crow', I have no intention of offending."

Ruiwen gave him a blank look and ignored him.
