Chapter 403: Join the Justice League

"What are you doing recently, Luther?" someone asked in the dark, "We have heard of each other. You have rejected all requests for cooperation recently, and you have also stopped some of the long-term equipment supply... You know that it was a breach of the contract, right?"

Luther snorted, as if he had admitted it.

"What are you thinking?" someone said, "You are very smart, a talent with high IQ - we all know these things. But to be honest, your recent practices are not very similar to those of you."

Luther laughed out loud.

"Is that so? I'm really sorry." He said indifferently and dishonestly.

"We also think you'd better explain it." This time the person who spoke was a short man sitting in the middle. From the old voice, he sounded like an elderly man.

Although the old man was short and seemed to be the best bullying in the whole room, no one dared to underestimate him. Because this little old man was a representative sent by Hydra, one of the largest secret organizations in the world. Every word he said here represents their organization, and no one would want to provoke them for no reason.

"It just so happens that I have a question, I hope you can explain it," Luther asked lightly, "You have put eyeliners in the ASCHENG, is that right?"

The old man from Hydra smiled dryly: "Who knows? Even if there is, why do you think I want to tell you this Chief S.H.I.E.L.D.?"

The scene was immediately very interesting - Hydra cadres and Chief SHIELD sat face to face at a table, asking directly whether the other party had installed spies under his hands. This may be the first time in the years when ASHIELD and Hydra had been fighting openly and secretly.

"What are you thinking about, Luther?" someone asked again, "You won't really regard yourself as a person with the ASCHEU? Do you really plan to change careers and work for the government from now on?"

"I think that's it." The old man of Hydra said coldly, "Yesterday, the Avengers attacked one of our highest security strongholds without warning. Nick Fury has rarely discovered our strongholds for so many years, and we lost such a stronghold not long after you took office. If I said in your position that I was completely unaware of it, would you believe it?"

"It's 80% unbelievable." Luther said calmly.

The old man was so angry that he could hardly speak, and suddenly stood up and shouted, "Lex Luther, do you really think that our Hydra is afraid of you?"

"Calm down." Someone reminded, "Have you forgotten the rules? The grudges in private are resolved outside, and the 'center' is always watching. Any conflict of force is not allowed during the meeting."

The old man Hydra stood there for a long time, but finally sat back without saying a word. It seemed that even for Hydra, the existence called the "center" was equally awesome.

Luther chuckled again and said again: "Look at you, you all have such great power in your hands, but you still pursue it endlessly. What a sad life, destined to end meaninglessly, is simply the most typical manifestation of the sad human beings."

Everyone present changed their faces suddenly, and one of them asked in a deep voice: "Do you know what you are talking about, Luther?"

"Know."

Replying faintly, Lex Luther actually stood up and walked towards the door with a swagger, leaving the dim room.

Justice League, Watchtower.

It seems that although everyone thought Eric was dead, his access permission was still left on the watchtower. When Eric returned to the watchtower again, it was the Flash on duty. You can imagine how surprised he was when he saw Eric appear.

"Eric?" The Flash suddenly shook in front of Eric like a ghost shadow, and asked in surprise, "It's really you?"

Eric smiled: "It's like a fake one."

"But...why? Where did you go after that day?"

"This is a long story, and I went around another world." Eric said, "but that doesn't matter anymore. What's important is that I'm back."

"Okay, that's great. I have to call everyone quickly..."

The Flash said as he flashed back to the operating table and started the operation, preparing to notify other members of the Justice League.

"Ah, remember to ask me by the way," Eric stepped forward and added, "Is there any extra place in the Justice League?"

The teleportation equipment of the watchtower is indeed quite convenient. The verified Justice League members can lock this teleportation system in most locations on the earth and can be teleported back to the watchtower at any time. In just over twenty minutes, all members of the Justice League were teleported back to the watchtower from their respective cities.

Everyone was rightly surprised that Eric was still alive and welcomed his return, except Batman. I don’t know if it was because he was like this. Although he seemed surprised, he was very indifferent to Eric’s return.

When Eric proposed to officially join the Justice League, everyone else welcomed him. This sounded very reasonable. After all, Eric is no longer like before. Since the final battle with Amoezhuo, his identity has been exposed and has been published in newspaper headlines and magazines. He is also considered a celebrity. In this case, he can no longer continue to live like an ordinary person. It seems that it is a natural decision to decide to join the Justice League.

Most people welcomed it, but it was Batman.

"I object." He said coldly.

Superman frowned and asked, "Why?"

"I don't trust him." Batman said simply and simply.

"What's wrong with you?" asked Green Lantern. "We reserved a seat for him when we formed it, and you didn't say objection at that time."

"Because I still trusted him at that time," Batman said, intersecting Eric for a moment, and asked, "What the hell happened to you?"

"Nothing." Eric faced his gaze without fear and said lightly, "I am me."

The two kept looking at each other for a few seconds, and the atmosphere gradually became a little awkward until Superman stopped them.

"The minority obeys the majority, we have five votes here, you can keep your opinion, Batman." Superman said, "After all, even you can't always be right."

Batman frowned, turned his back and walked away, leaving the last sentence.

“But I do most of the time.”
