Chapter VIII The Book of the Heavens Is Not Allowed to Read by the World
I traveled for thousands of years with my heart drinking wine among the mountains.
——Anonymous
The more I recalled the solemn expression of the old Taoist teaching, the more excited Xingyan was. He immediately sat up, took out the "Shangqing Sutra" and prepared to study it carefully. With excitement and even a pilgrimage, Xingyan opened the title page and started from the beginning. The scriptures copied in regular script in the front are some pure and peaceful methods, and are mixed with many explanations of Taoist thoughts. These moral views are the Taoist priests respected by the Shangqing Palace. From the lines, it can be seen that the Shangqing Palace in Luofu Mountain is obviously very respectful to Taoist ancestor Laozi Zhuangzi and others.
After reading for a while, I felt that opening the book was helpful. Xingyan couldn't help but close the book and praised:
"Well, it is worthy of being the largest sect in the world, and it is indeed well-known! This introductory scripture alone is already extremely useful! If you have a little insomnia in the future, these quiet methods are just used together!"
I don’t know if it was the result of long-term training in reading poetry and books, or if I was more excited about the last two chapters, Xingyan browsed the previous content very quickly. Soon, he turned to the last few pages that seemed extremely rare to hear the old Taoist tone.
"Uh! Why did this part of the characters become so ugly? The calligraphy of the old Taoist is not so bad!" Xingyan couldn't help but frown at the crooked font. After complaining about the calligraphy, Xingyan began to carefully study the content of "Refining the Gods". The beginning of this page of hemp paper suddenly wrote two sentences in crazy fonts:
"What is 'refining God'? Those who refine God are refining God.
How to 'refining the god'? Don't refining the god, that is, refining the god."
Just these two sentences made Xingyan extremely impressed!
No way?! What is the old Taoist making of mystery? The beginning is just a few nonsense. I thought it was a treasure book, but it turned out to be a confused curse. Uh, when I remembered it, this inexplicable tone was a bit like the old Taoist Qinghe who likes to pretend to be a god and a mysterious one!
Xingyan thought about this and quickly turned backwards. When he turned to the beginning of the "Wuxu Chapter", he found that the beginning of the two sentences were:
"What is 'transforming emptiness'? Transforming emptiness means transforming emptiness.
Why do you need to 'transform the emptiness'? Don't remove the emptiness, that is, it means to transform the emptiness."
The greater the expectations, the greater the disappointment. Xingyan was a little angry when he saw this, so he quickly turned to the last page, wanting to see if there was any signature of "Qinghe Xianchang Drunk Book after Drunk"!
However, this time he was wrong. The last page was signed, and it was empty. The corners of his eyes were accidentally swept away, and he saw the last sentence of the "Wuhu" of this scripture:
"...... Refining the gods of chaos in heaven and earth, transforming the unharmonious energy of the universe. The ultimate way of heaven is to practice the way for heaven. The vast gods are not allowed to be."
"Ah? The old Taoist is quite angry!"
It has been determined that it was written by the old Taoist Qinghe, and Xingyan couldn't help but find it funny in his heart.
But, I thought again, could that old man have such a great courage? And when I think of the old Taoist's appearance when he was teaching a book, I really didn't seem to be teasing him - although this unscrupulous old Taoist teased him for happiness, it was not once or twice.
"Don't worry about the old Taoist, let's wait for me to look back and take a closer look."
Anyway, I was idle, so Xingyan rekindled a glimmer of hope and saw what the specific content was written.
After seeing this, Xingyan really saw some tricks. For example, compared with the scriptures that are clear and calm in the previous Sutras of Shangqing Sutra, these two chapters are not only different in calligraphy, but also in the style of grammar. The previous Sutras of Qingxin Sutra have a peaceful calligraphy and a stable writing. Although there are many Taoist priests, they are more about narrating some specific methods of calming the mind and calming the mind. For example, in this Sutra, the narration is often based on the meridian position of the human body; the names of the human body parts that doctors often quote can also be often seen in the scriptures, such as Dantian, Qihai, Tianzhu, Yuzan, Niwan, Shenting, Magpie Bridge, Chonglou, Jianggong, etc.; there are many such things. There is a sentence in this Sutra:
"...The bloodlines are all smooth, and all the limbs are strong. If you can harmonize the breath, descend to the sea of Qi, and rise to the nine mud, then the qi will be harmonious and the spirit will be quiet, and water and fire will have the effect of harmony, which is the way to cultivate the truth and nourish the whole way."
Compared with the previous mantra of Qingxin, the "Sheng Refining" and "Wuhuo Chapter" are very different. Not only is the writing unrestrained, but there are no specific methods, it seems that it is just explaining the Taoist principles. Fortunately, Xingyan has also been exposed to some Taoist classics before and understands some basic principles of Taoism, which is not very difficult to read. However, Xingyan wrote down the classics he read in his mind and printed them one by one with these two articles one by one, and felt that many of the views in these two words in front of him were shocking.
However, this is not a big deal for Xingyan, a 16-year-old boy who is alive and alive. Xingyan not only does not reject or resist, but it feels refreshing. On the contrary, if he really changes to another Taoist scholar who is proficient in learning, he will inevitably deny it as absurd and strange story when he sees these, and even think that these are already evil sayings that are deviant.
After Xingyan finished reading it carefully, he realized that these two scriptures were not as purely as they were at first imagined. For example, the following texts in the Refining God’s Classic are explained in the following text, which explains the first two sentences:
"If you practice the method of spiritual refining, don't practice the spirit. If you do nothing, you will do nothing. Therefore, if you practice the spirit, you will only do nothing. This is inaction. This is not the one without intention, you will be ignorant; if you have no intention, you will be natural; if you have no intention, you will be the world; if you have no intention, you will be the world; if you have no intention, you will be the world; if you have no intention, you will be the heavenly beings. If you enter the realm of heaven and man, if you do not have fate, you will be the one level of spiritual refining, it will be like a mirror, flower, water, moon, and flowing into a false talk.
This is the most difficult. My year is also called ancient times, but I have never seen a perfect result. Just like the fate of a single summer autumn insect, or if you have the fate to know the ice and snow in the world, you cannot see it with your own eyes. This is the sorrow of the mayfly."
After some reading, Xingyan knew from this "refining God" that the refining god is the chaotic energy that is the mother of heaven and earth. The Supreme Master once described: "If something is mixed, it is born before heaven and earth. It is silent and lonely, but not changed, and it moves around without danger, and can be the mother of heaven and earth."
However, when I read the Tao Te Ching, I felt a little strange that I did not mention Lao Tzu in the whole text, which was very strange. You should know that the chaos theory has been mentioned by Taoism, since the Taoist ancestors mentioned it, there is no reason to not mention it in this Taoist scripture.
However, no matter how confused he was, the young man who had been reading the Bible for a while finally found something useful to him:
"……(Chao Yuanqi) I don't know its name. It is called "Dao Li", and it is called "Taihua". It is called "Tai" to show its greatness, and it is called "Hua" to show its respect."
When Xingyan thought of this, he felt happy in his heart: he was worried that the strange power like flowing water in his body could not be called. Now, let’s call it “Taihua Dao Power”! No matter what he said, he had to make the book happy to read.
The happy boy was about to read the "Wuxu Chapter" carefully, but suddenly he heard someone clinging to the door.
After hearing the "hard" knock on the door, Xingyan remembered that it was almost time to start dinner. I thought that a familiar servant should have come and shouted. When he thought about this, he felt more hungry and hard to bear. The young man, who was already a little dizzy, quickly got up, hid the "Shangqing Sutra", lit his sleeves, and went to open the door.
When Xingyan opened the door and saw that he was not a familiar servant, but Ying'er who had just met in the afternoon. The little maid was now looking at him with a smile on her face.
"Huh, who am I talking about? It turns out that it's Ying'er. Is it time to eat?"
The boy didn't know what this little girl was coming to him for.
"Well! It's already started. I'm here to find you for this. I just heard a huge news and wanted to tell you, but I waited and saw that you weren't here to eat, so I came here to find you!"
Looking at Ying'er's impatient expression, it seems that something is really good.
"Oh? Is that so? What news?"
Then the hungry boy muttered again:
"Uh~ What good news is there besides the meal..."
"It's really good news! And it has something to do with you!"
Seeing the boy's appearance as if he was lacking in interest, Ying'er quickly told Xingyan the news he had just heard like a bamboo tube and sacrificed his treasure:
"Jing'er was delivering wine outside, and he heard the officials who came to drink wine saying that the emperor has waived three years of money and food for the mountain people outside the suburbs of Raozhou! The decree that had just arrived in Raozhou City this afternoon had not had time to post the notice!"
"Wow! It's really great news!"
Xingyan, who had just heard the good news, was ecstatic:
"My sister Ying'er, thank you for telling me!"
In a good mood, Xingyan was a little unstoppable and even called out to his sister!
"Yeah! Ying'er didn't lie to you!"
Seeing Xingyan's happy look, the little girl was also infected and smiled. However, she murmured softly:
"I'm not young anymore!"
Of course, the cheerful boy did not hear this sentence.
When the happiness passed, Xingyan asked Ying'er what was going on. You know, the court's tax exemption and food exemption are not trivial; after all, the world is now peaceful, unlike when the war just ended, it is really rare to have the situation of exempting money and food. Moreover, the scene in Raozhou is peaceful and there is no natural disaster, so there is no reason to exempt it from money and food here, and it will be for three years. In addition, it is said that the instructions for exempting money and food are mountain people outside Raozhou City, which is even more bizarre. After the joy, the young man couldn't help but doubt the authenticity of the news of the little girl and began to ask in detail.
However, it seems that the little maid Ying'er was just a glance and couldn't stay with the officials for long, so although she swears that this matter is true, she is not very clear about the specific reason for her love and can't tell any tricks.
Seeing Xingyan asking questions, Ying'er pressed her finger against her cheek and tilted her face to think hard. But after thinking for a long time, she only remembered that she heard that the court wanted to buy pine fruit wine, and nothing else was heard. Seeing this little girl's situation, Xingyan stopped asking questions and went to the food hall with her for meals.
Although the people in Huayue Tower were eating in turn, there were also many people eating with Xingyan. The fact that Yinger had just said that the people in Raozhou Mountain were exempted from three years of money and food was really extraordinary, completely different from the ordinary boring topic of conversation. Therefore, naturally, everyone was having a lot of fun talking on the dining table!
But everyone is a commoner after all. The men and women in front of Xingyan all felt that they were the most authoritative in this news, and they often saw someone saying it well; they spoke vividly, just like the imperial edict was passed on by him. Several of them had a very strong talker who even took the opportunity to talk about it. Based on the news they heard, they also thoroughly explored the various reasons hidden behind the scenes of the sudden imperial edict and the various reasons hidden behind the scenes, and made a final analysis and judgment based on their own life experience. Unfortunately, the conclusions drawn in this way are often only the speakers themselves think that they are reasonable.
Among them, if any relatives live in the mountains outside Raozhou City, they will be even more happy as if they have won the lottery, and they only grinned and smiled foolishly. The smile on their faces can't be held in their hands. After all, for them, this is a great thing that is rare in life! Seeing them ecstatic, others will not make sarcasm, but they just sincerely congratulate them. After all, this is a good thing on the ground of Raozhou! Although most of the people here did not benefit directly, the so-called emperor's grace, the grace issued by the emperor in the current golden words, was indeed a great honor at that time. In the future, everyone in the prefectures of Raozhou, from the gentry to the peddlers, would feel that they were very proud; in the future, they would be more confident in speaking in front of foreigners!
As the saying goes, the whole world is celebrated. Now, in the entire Huayue Tower, whether it is the people in the building or the guests who come to the door, they are laughing inside and out, filled with a strong sense of joy. When Aunt Xia, the boss of Huayue Tower, heard the news, she specially added a small jar of rice wine to each table. For a moment, the tables on the Huayue Tower were all drunk and chatting, and the sounds of urging people to drink and congratulations were heard.
At this time, the young man Xingyan's face seemed to have a smile on his face. He was filled with several glasses of wine, and he was blushed. In the midst of the crowd of people talking and talking, Xingyan probably understood what was going on. It turned out that the emperor of the dynasty had an order to go to the prefect of Raozhou today to indicate that Raozhou Prefecture would pay tribute to the pine fruit wine produced in the countryside. At the same time, as compensation, he specially exempted the three-year tax, money and grain of the mountain people in Raozhou.
I roughly understood the reason, and while everyone praised the current emperor for his deep compassion for the people, they also made various speculations about the origin of this imperial edict. Some people say that the pinecone wine produced in the area of Raozhou is naturally also affected by Feng Shui, and it is full of the spiritual energy of Raozhou, so it is naturally extraordinary! Don’t believe it? If it wasn’t for its mellow quality, could it alarm the current emperor? As soon as this speculation came out, it immediately won the unanimous approval of all the Raozhou elders present, and the echoes were heard.
What's more, some people have extended this and said that the pine fruit wine produced in Raozhou is a magic pill, and the jade liquid and nectar can cure all diseases! Occasionally, some people raise small questions, saying that even if our pine fruit wine is good, how can the emperor live in the Imperial Garden of the Deep Palace, how can he know about the things in the small town of Raozhou?
As soon as these disappointing words were released, they were immediately obscured by the surging words. In addition to despising and denying, a master soon gave a reasonable explanation: the so-called emperor means that the emperor is the son of heaven. If you think about it, you will know that he has great supernatural powers and listens to thousands of miles; knowing things thousands of miles away is just a piece of cake. The emperor knows that there is nothing more natural than this in the fine wine of Raozhou!
Xingyan just laughed at these discussions, and he was quite dissatisfied with them. Because he brewed pineapple wine at home, he knew that although this wine was mellow and long, it could not be combined with the medicine for curing diseases, let alone the jade liquid and nectar! Moreover, the young man who said that the emperor could know a lot of things thousands of miles away and read a lot of saints' books even more sneered. Of course, in occasions when everyone was very happy, the well-behaved boy naturally would not be so serious and would make a big fuss.
However, seeing this imperial edict, the price of the pine fruit wine brewed by the home immediately doubled! This extremely cheap mountain village wine may really be sold in the future as a price of jade liquid nectar!
Speaking of the pine fruit wine, Xingyan noticed an interesting statement on the table. The statement, according to the person who said that it was heard from a well-informed merchant in the north. The merchant said that the Princess Qingcheng, who was regarded as the treasure of the country, has been depressed and listless all day long recently, and finally has some food and food. The queen felt sorry for her daughter, so she asked the princess in every possible way, wanting to know what she wanted to eat and drink. The princess who was not questioned finally said that she wanted to taste the folk pine fruit wine. So, this supreme and glorious task was unavoidable to fall into Raozhou Prefecture, which is famous for its abundant pine fruit wine. When Xingyan heard this, she couldn't help laughing: Obviously, this last sentence must have been added by a fellow Raozhou villager.
Although the listeners nodded frequently when they saw the whole table, Xingyan knew that the story was full of loopholes and could not stand the scrutiny. It must be another country-honest Raozhou elder who tied this ordinary pine fruit wine with the extremely respected Princess Qingcheng, showing that the pine fruit wine is indeed extraordinary.
However, when it comes to the pine fruit wine, and the protagonist Princess Qingcheng, the protagonist in the strange tale, reminded Xingyan of the girl whom he was dreaming about. During those unforgettable three days, the scenes of being with the girl Juying appeared in the boy's heart again - the face of the shiny face after drinking the pine fruit wine, and the embarrassment and speechlessness after joking about Princess Qingcheng, were all so vivid and vivid, as if in front of him.
I remembered the farewell at the foot of the horse hoof mountain, and from then on, I met forever. This young man who has always been optimistic and open-minded actually felt a little inexplicable pain in his heart... A moment of sorrow hits the heart, and a moment of 10% broken into the middle of the intestine. After calculation, it was clear that I happened to see Ju Ying for the first time after Daoxianglou. I thought of Ju Ying's smile as if it was a flower, and his soft and gentle voice was so soft that Xingyan felt very sad.
So the wine began to drink a little anxious...
