Chapter 3 Blessings reach the soul

Staring at the broken pottery fragments, the slightly drunk boy suddenly became stunned.

The little girl who swept the pottery bowl immediately felt panic when she saw Xingyan reacting like this:

"Brother, are you angry?...It's all because Qionghu is clumsy and breaking his brother's heart."

Qiongzu was complaining about himself, and tears arose in his eyes. He squatted down while saying that, picking up the pottery piece piece by piece.

Although Qiong Si was talking, Xing Yan seemed to turn a deaf ear and was just dazed there. It was not until Qiong Si squatted down to pick it up and blocked his sight that he suddenly came to his senses. Now this Qiong Si silenced and wanted to cry. Xing Yan was suddenly panicked, and quickly squatted down to pick up the pieces of pieces with her, so he comforted the sad little girl with kind words:

"Ha~ This pottery bowl is just an ordinary bowl. It's not a pity to fall into pieces!"

"Oh? Why did my brother get angry with Qiong Wan?"

"Ahem, that's because - uh! I wasn't angry at all! It's just that my brother suddenly thought of something very troublesome."

It turned out that since the young man entered Luofu Mountain, he had often studied Taoist classics. On that full moon night, he was inspired by the strange sword and knew the method of extracting the essence of heaven and earth. Since then, he has gradually become quite interested in this path of practicing Taoism, from the past to make a living. At that time of boredom, Xingyan would also think about the meaning of Taoist scriptures. Before Qiongzui came to the Thousand Bird Cliff, he would often think about things that others took for granted to pass the time or help him fall asleep.

Although these days, Qiong Si, the innocent little girl, is accompanied by her, and the quiet days on Qiandian Cliff no longer seem so idle; but he has never let go of his thoughts of studying Taoist scriptures.

Just now, it was this fragment of the pottery bowl that suddenly touched Xingyan's mind, which made the young man who learned the method of "refining the gods and turning into emptiness" and felt that the heavenly way was not unpredictable suddenly became dumbfounded-

Many Taoist scriptures such as "The True Sutra of Morality" and "The True Sutra of Nanhua" all say that the origin of heaven and earth is all chaos, "there are things mixed together and born before heaven and earth", "they are mixed like turbid", "chaotic, like a baby's unborn child", the origin of the origin of the world is the scattered and impermanent without any meaning and rules. But these scattered fragments just now suddenly made Xingyan realize:

This world seems to be thriving and always orderly, but everything is moving towards the chaos and destruction.

The pottery bowl falls to the ground and is broken; the soft grass and trees are withered even when they die; life is a hundred years old and returns to dust; even if it seems to be the ever-changing mountains, rivers, it will inevitably change. The things and creatures in this world seem to have only one final outcome, which is to return to the origin of heaven and earth, and return to the desolate and destructive chaos.

Although the sages had the spirit of "thinking and working hard for thousands of times, and being thriving in the universe", the truth of this world and universe is:

Growth and pregnancy are not the direction of the universe; while nirvana, chaos, and death are the eternity in the universe...

If this is the case, then the Taoists in the world, who have been pursuing for thousands of years, aren’t it just a matter of asking for fish from a tree?

Just now, Xingyan's loss of consciousness was not depressed by his inability to practice Taoism forever, but from this fragment scattered all over the ground, he suddenly discovered that this Taoist, who is very good at the world, was probably ultimately pursuing nothingness that could not be realized.

At that time, his thought was too shocking, so he suddenly stood there and felt as if he was disappointed!

Now, the little girl squatting beside him, after hearing the advice, she knew that her brother was not angry and had already burst into tears and laughed, but she forgot to ask why Brother Xingyan was dazed. The boy next to her, who had just passed by a big chaos, picked up fragments of the pottery bowl and said to herself:

"Oh, it turns out that this pottery bowl is easy to fall into pieces, but it cannot be restored into a pottery bowl by itself!"

"Hehe~ that's natural! Why did my brother become stupid today?"

How could this little girl with simple mind know that the storm that had just stirred up in her heart, Brother Xingyan!

However, when hearing Qiong's words like a new bird cried, Xingyan was relieved and smiled happily:

"Ha~ I'm talking about it. There is nothing wrong in the world, and mediocre people can disturb you, so let it go. Why do you have to think so much?"

"Um!"

This storm, which was not a storm, ended with such a simple nasal sound as the little girl.

Now, Qionghu began to work on her most important work in the day: before the sun sets, wash the stone floor with clear water. First, you can wash away the leaves and dust on the stone floor; second, you can also eliminate the scorching heat on the stone floor in the midsummer. In this way, the elder brother of the hall master can have a cool and clean place to concentrate on absorbing the colorful light in the sky!

Speaking of which, the colorless spiritual energy of heaven and earth in Xingyan's eyes was reflected in the distorted and flowing stream of light in the sky. It seems that this little girl turned into a strange beast is indeed unreasonable.

Of course, her careful hall master brother gave another advice to prevent her from telling others about this. However, Qiong Si knew that what she saw was different from what her brother saw, but she felt sad. She felt that she was such a difference because she was a monster. In that little carelessness, she felt very sad. As a result, she burst into tears and laughed at her, and spent a long time in the youth. During the period of time she spent with Qiong Si, Xing Yan's eloquence was greatly improved!

Now, the clever little girl looked around and saw that there was no one else, so she used the tricks from Luoyang’s streets a few days ago, and suddenly pulled out a ball of clear water from the air, and then smashed it on the stone floor with a slam. The cool water flowed everywhere.

When Qionghu was cleaning the stone floor, Xingyan stood beside the cold spring, watching the clear water flowing through the stone floor that was shining white by the sun.

Looking at the clear water flowing everywhere, the young man couldn't help but sigh again:

"Oh! Just look at this water, it always tends to be indecisive!"

Looking back at the cold spring, the round water droplets condensed by the water vapor among the rocks were dripping from the tip of the drooping stalagmites, shattering on the smooth bluestone below, splashing crystal water splashing everywhere.

It is precisely because of the feeling in my heart that it becomes affection. Now Xingyan's mind is always filled with the thought that everything is returning to chaos. Looking at everything in front of him, he follows this principle and has an association.

Just as the boy was feeling emotion, he suddenly felt a cold air appear in front of him, and then he saw the stalagmites in front of him, which was leisurely and about to fall, but suddenly it was still frozen and stuck there, like the tears of the mermaid, it had condensed into a crystal clear ice bead!

“Huh?”

Looking back, it was the little girl from Qiong, who was grimacing at her and laughed:

"I saw my brother dazed again, so I came to scare you!"

It turned out that Qiong Hu had just used the freezing technique. After understanding the whole story, Xing Yan didn't care. Looking back at the crystal-clear ice bead, it seemed like it was not dripping, but it didn't drip, and it felt interesting.

Suddenly, this leisurely boy suddenly turned around and grabbed Qiong Wan who was laughing there, screaming excitedly:

"I understand! ~ I understand! ~"

Suddenly, seeing my brother's crazy look, this petite girl who was shaking couldn't help but asks, without caring about the pain of her shoulders, she just asked repeatedly:

"Brother, what's wrong with you?"

Seeing that the master's brother broke a pottery bowl by himself, he seemed a little strange. Now that he saw that he looked like this, Qiong Que was very worried. He didn't know what was wrong, so he asked urgently.

"Well!"

This young man, who was so happy, woke up after hearing the girl's series of urgent questions, quickly let go of his hands, apologized to Qiong's uncontrollable times, and explained the reason for his loss of composure just now.

It turned out that this incident really started with Qionghu and also benefited from Qionghu. When I first saw the broken pottery bowl, I woke up and worried that the manpower was poor and that everything was always in chaos. I just saw Qionghu's little prank, but there was a flash of inspiration in the young man's mind.

In an instant, it seemed as if the dark clouds of thousands of miles disappeared, and the stars and moon shone brightly in the sky!

The boy was thinking this way now: since the water droplet can drip into scattered water splashes or condense into static ice beads, then, should the pure chaos that has always been regarded as the mother of heaven and earth and the origin of all things also have corresponding opposite things? Or, if "chaos" are taken as positive, is there a "negative" chaos? If "chaos" are taken as yang, should there be a "yin" chaos?

As the saying goes, blessings come to the soul. Now that I wake up, I will naturally think of the problems that have been bothering me these days:

"What is the spiritual energy of heaven and earth? What is the essence of sun and moon? What is my own spiritual transformation into emptiness?"

Now, he thinks he has found the answer:

The spiritual energy of the heaven and earth, the essence of the sun and the moon, the "fairy spirit energy" considered by Taoism is the negative "chaos" and the yin "chaos"! And the refining of the gods and turning into emptiness is to refine the negative chaos that fills the heaven and earth into the negative chaos that can exist in one's own body and can be used for one's own use - that is, the "Taihua Taoist Power"!

Now, a series of thoughts flashed continuously in the boy's mind like a revolving lantern:

"Why can the mother of heaven and earth, the origin of all things, be able to be a single chaos? Perhaps the positive and negative, the yin and the yang are the complete origin of heaven and earth!"

"Maybe, there is no need to stick to the number of origins of heaven and earth - Tao gives birth to one, one gives birth to two, two gives birth to three, and three gives birth to all things - it doesn't matter whether one or two. The real origin is still the "Tao" that runs in heaven and earth!"

"Although that life will end in the end, why can our creatures still survive in the world? The reason should be that before the end of life, the creatures in the world are constantly absorbing the negative chaos! Whether it is the thousand-year-old chunk or the instant mayfly, they can survive in the world because of the negative chaos!"

"The prosperity and withering of plants and trees is the method of catching the chaos of the plants and trees; the drinking and pecking of people at that time is the method of catching the chaos of our generation; the Nirvana of the Phoenix is the method of catching the chaos of the immortals and seeking the Tao. The origin of the teachings of the world who cultivate immortals and seek the Tao is to find the method of absorbing the chaos of the chaotic, transcend life and death, and turn life into a hundred years, thousands of years, and ten thousand years!"

Now in Xingyan's spiritual platform, there is unprecedented purity and Kongming:

"Now I finally understand that the 'mindlessness' emphasized by 'refining the spirit and turning into emptiness' is not only a method to summon the 'Taihua Dao Power', but also the ultimate principle of practicing Taoism in the world. If you stop doing nothing, you will at most slow down the arrival of chaos and cannot truly 'do everything'. Being quiet and inactive can only keep you healthy, but you cannot live forever."

"Only by following the 'mindlessness' and actively refining the 'negative chaos' can we truly achieve the highest level that our Taoist sect pursues: long-lasting vision!"

...

"Well?!"

But when he was awakening his eyes and contemplating his eyes and being excited about his discovery, he suddenly felt a dimness and destruction in front of his eyes. This young man who was immersed in meditation on the principles of heaven and earth suddenly shouted in shock:

"Not good! I really understand the way of heaven, so I will destroy me for the sake of God's tolerance?!"

In panic, I quickly opened my eyes and saw that the little girl Qiongzi stretched out a small hand like jade, shaking constantly in front of her eyelids!

Before Xingyan could speak, he saw Qiong and said in surprise:

"Huh? Brother didn't fall asleep?"

“…”

"Ah~ As the saying goes, 'The Tao can be told, it is extraordinary', the ultimate Tao is speechless - how can I realize the truly powerful Tao of heaven easily? Haha~ I don't have to worry about being punished by heaven!"

However, after less than half an hour of ups and downs in thought, he became even more determined to insist on refining the Yuan Ling of Heaven and Earth every night!

The days on Qiandiao Cliff passed by calmly. It seemed that the years in the mountains would continue in a dull manner. Until one day, when the Sihai Lord went down the mountain to inspect the land of Shangqing Palace, he heard the farmers say that at the foot of Luofu Mountain where the Shangqing Palace is located, snake demons have appeared recently!

[Note]: It was only nearly two thousand years after the age of Laozi, Zhuangzi and Zhang Xingyan that Westerners proposed a theory similar to "chaotic" and "entropy";

The lamp of ancient Chinese philosophy illuminates the thousands of years of China, and its light is still dazzling and cannot be seen. In the field of philosophy, we descendants of Yan and Huang seem to have been in a long way.

This is the second concentrated discussion in this book.
