76, Chapter 76 Junction

Not only did the Difu detector fail, but even the Emmy's waterproof meter was gone. All the things that used the battery turned into a pile of scrap iron - these fragile electronic components were not even strong enough to use as bricks to paste Difu's face.

Aldo asked everyone to throw away everything they could not use in order to streamline their luggage into the most necessary and effective combination.

Fortunately, most of the followers were Jinzhang, and even if they did not have those instruments, they had their own small solutions.

Even Evan took out a small, pendant-like disc from his pocket. The little thing was made very delicately, with a transparent shell, a long chain that could be hung around his neck, and a small pointer was inlaid inside. The back of the pointer was a piece of wood. It looked a bit old in color, and a magic array was carved on it.

It looks like a craft.

Evan carefully wiped the mist on the shell with his fingers and handed it to Gal: "I think you can use this."

Gal was stunned: "What is this?"

Evan grabbed his hair and said embarrassedly: "This is made by myself. The one inside is a detection array. I copied it from the information you got back from the underground palace. It may not be very standard... But I have tried it and it is still useful. The pointer is very sensitive and can remind you of Difu within five meters."

"Oh," Gal raised his eyebrows in surprise, "it was impressive."

Louis glanced and gave a rare positive opinion of Evan: "This thing is done well, you will be a good carpenter, Mr. Gorlado."

Evan didn't seem to hear Louis mocking him, and rubbed his hands and laughed embarrassedly: "Thank you, thank you, actually I'm good at carving on carrots and watermelons..."

Louis rolled his eyes at the sky.

Gal carefully turned the small detector, which was almost a craft, over and looked over several times, then stuffed it back into Evan's hand, patted his thick but unreliable shoulder, and praised him, "I appreciate it, but you should take it with you, I have my own way."

Evan swerved: "But..."

Gal rolled up his sleeves, revealing a bandaged forearm. His slender and powerful fingers grabbed the hilt of the bayonet. In an instant, the edge of the sharp weapon seemed to have silver patterns flowing by, and then sank into the extremely thin sword body.

He narrowed his eyes and looked at the snowy mountain road, and said indifferently: "It's just a level three Difu."

His cheeks were slightly concave after days of wandering and desperate exercise. Gal's gentle facial features were stained with a hint of madness that looked like Carlos. At first glance, he was a little transformed.

They continued to walk towards the top of the mountain, and the temperature dropped even harder. Huge and sharp ice cubes protruded from the rocks. Sometimes they could see bones hidden among the weeds, but the surrounding area was gradually no longer a vast white area, with plants.

They emerged from the cracks of the ice and snow stones, and some even grew into clusters, becoming denser as they went up. In the end, low bushes formed almost on the roadside.

No one can name this strange plant, which is so fragile, but so special - probably after it reaches its extreme rigor, some seemingly weak species will cross the border and live independently in another world.

The more dangerous it is, the more miracles happen.

With Carlos leading the way, the hunters' speed unconsciously improved a lot. They quickly passed through deadly plants like marching.

This place is so quiet that even a bug cannot be seen. It is like a wide but sealed box. In the endless white vastness, people feel like they are claustrophobic.

Suddenly, a sudden bird song came from not far away, and everyone's attention could not help but be attracted - on the big stone not far away, a kingfisher the size of a palm stood there alone.

However, just after this moment of stopping, a shadow suddenly flashed on the cliff next to it, as fast as if only a gust of wind, and even the sound was left behind and rushed towards Amy.

Emmy was stunned for a moment, and then he recalled the feeling - as if something had frozen his body in an instant, and could not move at all.

Suddenly, his back collar was grabbed by someone, and a scimitar wiped his neck and Emmy smelled the metal. The little naked/exposed skin on her neck was stirred up by the cold blade, and he even had an illusion that seemed to have his throat cut by the sharp weapon.

With a crisp sound, Louis's scimitar hit something, and the huge impact made his wrist feel numb.

Hearing the screams of sore bones exploded in a small range, Carlos frowned and turned to come over, but Aldo grabbed him.

"Only one," he said, "don't destroy the formation, Louis and the others can handle it."

"But that's probably mutated," Carlos said.

"You have dealt with two mutated level 2 when you were alone with injuries. Can so many of them deal with a small dark elf?" Aldo asked back.

Emmy was pulled by Louis. In the light of lightning, they saw the dark elves' unique black wings flashing through the air. Evan didn't know what he was thinking. When everyone was waiting for such a person, he subconsciously looked down at his small handicraft carved as a carrot. The magic circles on the ancient wood emitted a dark red light. The small pointer happily turned an angle and pointed directly into the direction of Gal.

He was frightened and screamed: "Gal!"

But Gal was no longer there, and no one knew how he did it. Almost as Evan shouted and blurted out, he flashed through the dark elf's attack range at the first time, climbed up the rock with one foot, and soared into the air through the reaction. The arc of the extremely thin bayonet tip in the air burned almost every person's eyes.

He seemed to walk on the side of the mountain wall, his clothes fluttered, and he pulled out the sound of friction like flags in the wind. He was like a bird spreading his wings.

Aldo narrowed his eyes: "Good, very agile."

Carlos said proudly: "I beat it out."

Aldo: "…"

He silently took out a small arrow that was only the length of a slap from the arrow bag on his waist. His wrist seemed to have swung very quickly. A sound of wings flapping behind him rang out, and then it stopped abruptly - the strange and beautiful bird had a short arrow inserted across the neck, a colorful beak, and fell to the ground.

At the same time, Gal finally fell down, holding the bayonet hilt in both hands, kneeling on one knee, and spiked a dark elf smaller than that brought back by Carlos and the others. The blade passed through behind its hard wings and pierced its chest straight through.

"I just recognized it. It was the thorn of dawn. The legendary sword that can stab eighteen rose flowers on the wings of a fly," Aldo snorted, glanced at Carlos with a slanted eye, and complained in a low voice, "Why did you give him all the good things you hid in the underground palace back then?"

"If your last name is Flaret, they will be yours next time." Carlos replied with the same ear-biting volume.

Aldo looked at Gal who threw down the corpse of the dark elf and made a gesture to them that he could continue to set off. He turned around and continued to walk forward while saying meaningfully: "If I change my surname, then what you need to pay is not the price of a few swords."

Carlos raised his eyebrows: "Can I agree with him."

Aldo glanced at him deeply.

Carlos's eyes drifted aside: "It's not the first time anyway."

Given that this was a pit that he dug by himself, Aldo did not dare to say anything, but just changed the topic lightly: "Have you found that the alienation of Difu is regular?"

Carlos didn't react: "Hmm?"

"The drum master, hidden pearl mussel, black fish, dark elves, and the scorpion and rats seem to have not changed at all at the foot of the mountain." Aldo paused and continued, "Most of the Difu, who can be alienated, are humanoid or have the ability to lean over, and have very high intelligence."

Carlos still didn't understand so: "So..."

"Nothing, I just thought, this may represent some evolutionary trend." Aldo said, and a sneak attacking dark elf suddenly bumped into it, but was slapped straight into the invisible air array in front of them. His body was quickly tied into a knot, and his bones penetrated from his back.

"Just like the legend that humans became monkeys, the smartest group of people first occupied favorable resources and finally became a new race and could always get what they wanted." Aldo said without changing his face and made a gesture to the people behind him, "Don't be nervous, the dark elves are very cautious and smart Difu. When they find that the enemy is something they can't move, they will not come to seek death again."

Carlos still didn't know why Aldo suddenly discussed Difu's IQ with him, and blinked in confusion.

Aldo smiled at him: "Don't care, it's nothing."

I just explain to you the result of a... "future", "seemingly needing discussion" and "very important" issue.

And as Carlos predicted, the night came soon.

Camping in the snow and ice is nothing - what's scary is that in the snow and ice, a lot of difu stares at it from a distance as if it were a dish on the plate, and then camping.

When Evan put down his tent and straightened his waist, he found that the flat ground, valley, and stones were covered with stars. His small eyes with bright light were looking at this place with fierce eyes, and he suddenly had goose bumps.

He couldn't help but push Carlos, who was gnawing the jerky meat next to him, and was very happy to chew: "Do you think we are staring at me?"

Carlos said vaguely: "It is estimated that there are more than 30 dark elves and more than ten black fish. There are still a few abyss jackals walking here in the distance."

Evan's legs became weak and he knelt down.

Aldo walked out of the tent and threw a dozen papers into Evan's arms: "Precaution array, draw it next to the camp - since you are following you, you must do something useful."

Evan shrank his neck, and Carlos took a bag of jerky from his pocket, took it in his hand and looked at it, then decided to take it for himself, and stuffed his bag to him: "I don't like spicy food. For the sake of changing with me, when you draw the magic circle, I can provide protection and guard, my dear princess!"

This extremely strong "Princess Princess" shivered fiercely. When he heard this, he felt that his future was bleak.

Gal picked up his thorn of light and stood up, nodded to Aldo, then picked up his incompetent apprentice who had not yet reacted after taking a small sauce: "Let's go, I'm right behind you."

Evan was relieved this time and went to draw the magic circle with a happy moment.

Aldo sat down beside Carlos, glanced at Difu that surrounded them - they gathered more and more.

Aldo laughed indifferently and asked softly: "I guess this is the legendary 'junction'. You have been taking us on the way before, just to get here to camp before dark?"

Carlos held a long piece of jerky meat in his mouth and proudly said: "Yes, the most dangerous place is the safest place - it will be very lively tonight. I hope these dear little babies won't be scared to pee their pants."

Aldo suddenly pressed his shoulder and bit off half of the jerky meat from his mouth. When he took it away, his tongue licked Carlos's lips, and then sat upright, commenting as if he was a gentleman: "Sure enough, this tastes better."

This scene happened to be seen by Emmy who had just caught fire. He was stunned for a moment, then looked away and walked to Louis - the latter was wiping his knife seriously. Apart from nodding slightly as saying hello, he did not react to Emmy.

"Today...thank you very much." Amy whispered.

"Nothing." Louis said briefly.

"Are you the first group of night watchmen tonight?" Amy pursed her lips and asked without saying a word.

"Um."

"Can I accompany you?" Amy asked.

Louis glanced at him and said calmly: "I don't think it's necessary, Berg therapist."

Emmy: "But..."

Louis stood up and was about to supervise Evan's work. His eyes passed through Amy's rare face in such extreme environments. Even without heavy makeup, his face still had the femininity that came from his bones. The brown eyes were finally exposed from his thick false eyelashes. The eyelids were thin and looked a little melancholy. Louis paused and said lightly: "You are the therapist, sir, and anyone will protect you."
