The first thousand three hundred and thirty-seventh chapters

Liu Zheng appeared here, rode on a war horse, and looked at Xun Yu.

At this time, Xun Yu was over thirty years old. Although he looked like a Confucian scholar in clothes, Liu Zheng knew that this person was actually very talented.

In history, Xun Yu has made great contributions to Cao Cao being able to occupy most of the world. Without Xun Yu, Cao Cao would probably not have won the Battle of Guandu so easily.

But Liu Zheng also understood that Xun Yu was a die-hard loyalist in the Han Dynasty. It was probably not easy for Liu Zheng to surrender Xun Yu.

Moreover, Liu Zheng now has enough counselors and does not need the assistance of such a talent as Xun Yu for the time being. If Xun Yu is willing to surrender, he will naturally be willing to accept it. However, if Xun Yu does not surrender, Liu Zheng has no intention to recruit him.

Liu Zheng gave Taishi Ci a look.

Taishici quickly understood what it meant, rode his horse, walked up, and then took the imperial seal from Xun Yu.

The jade seal of the Kingdom should have been obtained by Sun Jian in history, and then after Yuan Shu's hand, he returned to the hands of the Han court. Unfortunately, there is no such twists and turns in this history now.

He has always been in the palace. Although the little emperor has changed his throne several times, he has always stayed here.

Although Liu Zheng himself proclaimed himself emperor, he did not have the imperial seal, so he could not be ordered to be in heaven and live forever.

This is why, after Liu Zheng became emperor, he did not call himself me, but just called me.

Because the world has not been unified yet, he is not a powerful ruler who swept across the world and is invincible.

Only by obtaining the imperial seal and unifying the world can one be truly emperor!

When Liu Zheng got the jade seal from Taishi Ci, he couldn't help but become interested.

He remembered some of his understanding of the imperial jade seal. According to legend, in the Spring and Autumn Period, Bian He, a native of Chu, was in Chu Mountain. He said that he saw a phoenix floating on a bluestone slab in the mountains in Jingshan. According to the saying "The phoenix does not fall into a land without treasure", he believed that there was a treasure on the mountain. After careful searching, he finally found a piece of jade in the mountain.

Bian He presented this Pu to King Li of Chu. However, after being identified by the jade worker, Pu was judged as a stone. King Li thought Bian He was deceived and ordered Bian He to cut off his left foot and expel him from the capital.

When King Wu ascended the throne, Bian He presented the uncensored jade again. The jade worker still thought it was a stone. Unfortunately, Bian He was cut off his right foot for the crime of deceiving the emperor.

When King Wen of Chu ascended the throne, Bian He cried bitterly at the foot of Chu Mountain for three days and three nights with his uncensored jade, so his eyes were covered with bleeding. King Wen was very surprised and sent someone to ask him: "There are many people in the world who have been cut foot, why are you the only one so sad?" Bian He sighed: "I am not sad because of being cut foot, but because the gems are regarded as stones, and loyal people are regarded as ministers who deceive the king. Right and wrong are reversed and sad!" This time, King Wen directly ordered people to cut the purse, and ended up with a flawless piece of jade.

In order to reward Bian He's loyalty, Meiyu was named "Heshi Bi", which is the Heshi Bi in later generations.

The King of Chu was very concerned about this beautiful jade, and he was reluctant to carve it into a weapon, so he regarded it as a treasure to treasure it. More than 400 years later, in order to commend loyal ministers for his merits, King Wei of Chu specially gave the Heshi Bi to the Prime Minister Zhaoyang. When Zhaoyang led guests to visit Chishan, he went out to see the jade Bi for people to watch. Unexpectedly, after everyone dispersed, the Heshi Bi disappeared.

More than 50 years later, Miao Xian, a native of Zhao, bought a piece of jade for 500 gold at the market. Unexpectedly, after identification by jade workers, this jade was the Heshi Bi that had been missing for many years. King Huiwen of Zhao heard that the Heshi Bi appeared in Zhao State, so he took it as his own.

After learning about this, King Zhao of Qin wrote a letter to King Zhao saying that he would exchange the fifteen cities of Qin for jade bi. King Zhao was frightened by the power of Qin and sent Lin Xiangru to serve the bi to Qin. Lin Xiangru, who was extremely witty, fulfilled his mission and designed to retrieve the jade bi and send it back to Zhao.

In 228 BC, Qin destroyed Zhao, and the Heshi Bi finally fell into the hands of Qin.

Prime Minister Li Si was ordered by Emperor Shi to engrave the Heshi Bi and carve it into a national jade seal, which became a proof of the orthodox emperors of China in history.

After Qin, emperors of all dynasties regarded obtaining this seal as a talisman, and regarded it as a rare treasure, which was a country's important weapon. If you obtain it, it symbolizes that you "received the order from heaven", and if you lose it, it shows that your energy has been exhausted. Anyone who ascended the throne without this seal will be ridiculed as a "white emperor", which seems to be lacking in confidence and is despised by the world.

After careful examination, the jade seal carved by Li Si is indeed somewhat majestic.

It is four inches in a radius, with five dragons on the top of the New York City. The eight seal characters written by Li Si, "I am appointed by heaven, and I will live forever" are engraved on the front, as a token of "Imperial power, God-given, orthodox and legal".

However, if you look at it twice, you will see that there is a small horn shining with golden light on this jade seal.

This is because at the end of the Western Han Dynasty, the imperial seal was passed down by Wang Mang, a relative of the foreigner, who usurped power. At that time, Liu Ying was young and hid the seal at the Empress Dowager of Changle Palace. Wang Mang sent his cousin Wang Shun to search. The Empress Dowager was angry and praised it, and threw the seal on the ground, breaking a corner. Wang Mang ordered the craftsmen to repair it with gold.

This led to the original Heshi Bi jade seal becoming a gold-inlaid jade.

However, although it is made of gold and jade, the credibility of this jade seal is still there. As long as he is, it is a real imperial power and heavenly gift.

"Let's go, let's go into the city."

Liu Zheng put away the imperial seal and soon led his army into the palace and officially took over the Luoyang City.

When Liu Zheng entered the palace and went to meet the little emperor Liu Bian, he was on the other side of Luoyang.

Liu Bei led some of his remaining troops from Hanoi County, bypassed Luoyang, to Hedong County, and then crossed the Yellow River through Hedong County, intending to take a detour to return to Luoyang City through the Sanfu Land.

Unfortunately, before he arrived in Luoyang, he encountered Zong Ji, Dong Cheng and others on the way, who escaped from Luoyang.

Liu Bei was still on the road and saw a scattered soldier running from afar. These men and horses were all chased by Lu Bu in Luoyang before, but because Lu Bu went to pursue Wang Yun, they had a chance to breathe and quickly escaped from Luoyang.

"Dong Cheng, Zhong Ji, why are you here? And you look like you have just experienced a defeat?"

Liu Bei was not sure what was happening in Luoyang at this moment.

Liu Zheng had already entered Luoyang, and he didn't know that Liu Bei thought he could return to Luoyang as soon as possible so that he could persuade the court to continue recruiting troops and attack Liu Zheng.

Dong Cheng and Zhong Ji were also surprised and happy when they met Liu Bei at this moment.

Surprisingly, I could still see Liu Bei here, but I was happy that if Liu Bei was there, he might have the power to fight.

"General, big things are not going well, Luoyang is in danger!"
