If you lack social experience and don’t say anything else, you will be very weak when you create some sophisticated characters.
For this reason, and for the sake of breathability and a different working environment, I went to Beijing in February. When I was writing books, I fell down in the morning and evening. I don’t know if it was raining or the sun today. I finally lived a few regular life in Beijing. I got up at seven o’clock, washed my teeth, washed my face, went to work, turned on the computer, worked, lunch, got off work, ate, and went home. I occasionally went to a Northeastern sister I met to do traditional Chinese medicine massage, and treated her arms that always felt muscle fatigued. This Northeastern sister is generous. According to her, the couple studied under the deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Traditional Chinese Medicine Association, and the elder was promoting traditional Chinese medicine in the United States. I worked in her for more than a month and felt that her arms were much better.
In the second month in Beijing, one night when a wild cat went to bed, and broke into my room to find food. I didn't mind, so I could eat it. Over time, it gradually became less afraid of me, so it stayed. When I came back from get off work, I would sometimes bring some cat food to it. Xiao Zhuo once made fun of me and said that I could write a novel called the story of the author XXX and the cat demon. After all, there is different writing work, with workload and work tasks. After work during the day, when facing the computer all day, I always feel very tired. Then after massage, after dinner, and taking a shower, it is always around 8 o'clock in the evening. At this time, I always feel sleepy and my head is in a mess. So in the four months in Beijing, there is basically no update. It is always intermittent.
There is a saying that goes, "Leaving is to come back better." After staying in Beijing for four months, I still left there. My best field is still writing.
"The Supreme True Demon" is a pity. The sales of this book in Taiwan are not good, and the simplified Chinese aspect of the mainland is also a bit difficult to produce. In addition, I can't update it, and the maximum electronic subscription is only more than 4,000 points, which is basically a failure.
Speaking of which, the current situation of "The Supreme True Demon" was already destined at the beginning. After the end of "Ascendant", I always wanted to write a popular book, but the subject matter was always unsure. After two months, two editors came to urge me to send a contract quickly. Before publishing "The True Demon", it was originally another subject, but at night, the inspiration suddenly came and I decided to write "The True Demon", and then the second book was sent to the contract and uploaded the article at the same time. At that time, there was only 10,000 words of manuscript, and it was written the night before. The haste at that time was generally seen.
Writing an article is like building a tall building. The foundation is not good, and the building is not high. "The True Demon" is a transformation, but the transformation is relatively failed and the shortcomings are very obvious. I am not good at the shortcomings of the early operation to be fully exposed. The business rule at the starting point is that the first 30,000 words need to have a small climax, and then the first 80,000 words need a big climax. My writing style does not conform to this business rule. Moreover, the plot is a bit delayed, so I basically can't become popular.
Regarding this point: My original intention is to try to build a complete social system as much as possible in the early stage, so that people can vividly feel the clothing, food, housing and transportation of this social structure. This point was once one of the flaws that "Ascendant" was accused of. Writing is like sailing against the current, and if you don't advance, you will retreat. Because you don't make progress, readers' tastes are improving, and the style and theme development of original online novels fully prove this point.
I have been writing, and have been reading other people's novels, while also reminding myself of my own flaws. A book called "The True Demon" exposed many problems: I am not good at the early processing of the story, the plot is not strong, the pace is not fast enough, too delayed, etc. My specialty is the character relationship and plot processing in the later stage of the story, but if I don't handle it well in the early stage, no matter how good the story is, it will be difficult to give birth and will have to be lost.
I feel that I have learned a lot of lessons when writing this novel. When I write a book again and open it again, I think I will notice these aspects of treatment.
I also report my recent situation: I got married in December last year. Now my wife is seven months pregnant and will be a father in two months. From college to father, I feel that the change is so big, time passes so fast, and the change is too drastically. Although I don’t have the experience of being a father, I have adapted to it.
I personally attach great importance to my family. Pregnant women are prone to depression in the last few months, especially when their husbands are not around. So I rushed back to my hometown and stayed with her, preparing to wait for the birth of the child.
In addition, the new book was prepared half a month ago. I thought I would save some manuscripts and solicit opinions from other colleagues, editors and readers. I am personally very confident about the third new book. As a book friend once mentioned in his post, I designed a new upgrade system. This upgrade system is very unique and can perfectly solve some of the problems we encounter in life. It is similar to the rules and rules in "Ascendant". However, I feel that the preparation is far from enough, so the new book may be late.
