48. Refugees gather outside the manor

It was snowing, and white snowflakes were floating in the sky. Overnight, the sky and the earth were covered with a layer of white. Liu Zhe stood at the door and watched a few children playing in the snow in the distance. He exhaled a long mouthful of white fog and said to himself: "It's snowing."

There was a sigh in his tone. In a blink of an eye, it had been more than half a year since he came to this world.

Looking back on what happened in the past six months, Liu Zhe felt like he was dreaming.

A large manor with over 10,000 mu of land and thousands of tenants, became a big landlord and had powerful thugs like Guan Yu and Dian Wei. If it were in the past, Liu Zhe would never dare to think about it.

"Hello lord." The greetings interrupted Liu Zhe's thoughts. Liu Zhe turned his head and saw that it was the theater meeting.

"Old Xi, where have you been? Why are you like this?" Liu Zhe asked in surprise after seeing the appearance of the Xishou. The Xishou was sweating profusely, his clothes were covered with snowflakes, some of them had melted, and his feet were covered with soil. It seemed that the Xishou seemed to have gone out and had just returned.

The theater meeting replied: "Go back to the lord, it's snowing heavily. I'm not at ease with the tenants, so get up early and go out to check it out."

After listening to the talk of the theater, Liu Zhe's face became serious. Only then did he remember that what he saw on TV before, in ancient times, disasters would occur whenever he encountered heavy rain and heavy snow.

"How is it? Are the tenants okay?" Liu Zhe asked.

"There is no big problem," the theater meeting said: "It's just that a few houses were crushed by snow, and Hou Yi is taking people to rebuild them."

The show was a farmer before, so he naturally knew what would happen after heavy snow. He got up early in the morning to take people to patrol. Fortunately, there were no casualties, only a few houses were crushed.

Knowing that there were no casualties, Liu Zhe breathed a sigh of relief. These tenants were already his, so naturally they didn't want to see someone die because of this!

However, Liu Zhe had just breathed a sigh of relief and had something to say at the theater meeting.

"Lord, there is bad news." Liu Zhe had a bad premonition.

"Go in and talk." Liu Zhe brought the show to the hall. Xiao Xinxin was held by Aunt Mei. When she saw Liu Zhe coming in, she opened her hands and asked Liu Zhe to hug her.

"What bad news?" Liu Zhe sat down with Xiao Xinxin in his arms and asked what happened at the show.

"Lord, many refugees in Gaoyang City have come to us." The show convener said something bad. Because of wheat liquid, Liu Zhe's farm is not short of money. If he doesn't lack money, he will naturally not lack food. Liu Zhe keeps buying land from the county magistrate and recruiting refugees. If he accidentally Liu Zhe became famous in Gaoyang City, even beggars know that Liu Zhe is the richest person in Gaoyang City. Now in winter, many refugees come to Liu Zhe, hoping to get help from Liu Zhe.

Refugees? Liu Zhe was not surprised by this. After coming to this world, because of the continuous natural disasters in the Han Dynasty over the years, Liu Zhe saw the most refugees. Usually, many refugees came here. Now it snowed heavily, and Liu Zhe naturally didn't find it strange to come here. Liu Zhe was surprised that why did the theater meeting say this was bad news?

"Are you enough to deal with it according to the usual methods? Why do you still report to me specifically?" Liu Zhe asked the show meeting strangely. In the past, when refugees came here, if it was appropriate, they would take them in and let them be tenants. If it was not appropriate, they would give them some food to leave.

"Master, there are too many people." The show's convening face was a little bitter. This was bad news. If there were fewer, he could naturally get his ideas, but there were too many people, so Liu Zhe had to come.

"There are so many people? How many are there? Take me to see." Liu Zhe handed Xiao Xinxin to Aunt Mei and asked the theater meeting to lead the way out to see.

When he first arrived outside, Liu Zhe was shocked by the crowd of people. It was more than just a large number of people, it was simply boundless, okay?

"Why are there so many people?" Liu Zhe was surprised. There seemed to be no marginal crowd in front of him. No matter how bad Liu Zhe was in mathematics, he could guess that there were at least a few thousand people. So many refugees appeared here, Guan Yu and the others brought people to maintain order early in the morning to prevent anyone from causing trouble.

"Master, they all came from Gaoyang City." said the theater convener.

"All of them came to me?"

Liu Zhe was a little surprised. There were so many people, he thought that all the refugees from Gaoyang City had come here.
