Chapter 35

I followed behind and closed the door of the side room and chased after him.

I entered the room with my master, and one of the rooms was open, and the shouts came from the inside.

Without hesitation, the master ran into the room directly, and I stood at the door and looked inside.

A middle-aged man was lying on the wooden bed in the room, with a gray face, staring at the ceiling empty, his mouth opened and closed, his waist as thick as a bucket was twisting left and right, and his feet bent and stretched back with force.

The weird look is indeed a bit scary. I have never seen anyone with such a strange disease.

"Old Wang, don't scare me, what's wrong with you?!" The woman who came out to pick me up and picked me up before was lying beside the wooden bed, her hair was messy and her eyes were red.

When the woman saw my master come in, she hurriedly grabbed his arm:

"Master Nine, you are here. Look at what happened to my man? This, this suddenly became like this, and I was almost scared to death!"

The master walked to the bed, first glanced at Lao Wang lying on the bed, then stretched out his hand and touched his chest, and immediately asked the woman to turn off the light in the room.

At the same time, a candle was lit and placed under Lao Wang's bed.

This is strange. After the lamp went out and the candle was burning, Lao Wang's mouth slowly closed, and his waist stopped twisting, quietly, as if he was lying down and asleep.

"Master Nine, did my man get this strange disease after drinking too much snake wine?" Seeing that his husband was healing, the woman breathed a sigh of relief, stood up and looked at my master and asked.

The master didn't say anything, and walked to Lao Wang's heels, stretched out his hand and took off Lao Wang's socks. When I took off my socks, I almost vomited after seeing the foot in the candlelight.

All five nails on the foot fell off, covered with dense black scales, and there were many white bugs squirming between the scales, just like those parasites born under the snake's skin!

The white parasites moving back and forth in the scales made me feel numb when I saw it. This was not just a human foot.

The master was probably disgusted too, so he hurriedly covered Lao Wang's feet with the bed sheet.

"Wife Lao Wang, tell me the truth. How long has your husband's foot grown from snake scales?" When the master asked people, he always liked to stare into people's eyes. He seemed to have a special ability to distinguish the truth from people's eyes.

The woman spoke directly without hesitation:

"It must be less than a week! Master Nine, can you tell what kind of disease my husband is suffering from now on?"

"It's hard to say what kind of disease is now. Lao Wang's wife, if you believe me, go to the neighbor's house first and come back in two hours." The master said this and looked back at me.

"Okay, I'll leave now, I'll leave now..." Although Lao Wang's wife was puzzled, she didn't ask any more questions. She hurried out after carrying a cloth bag on her back.

It seems that Lao Wang’s wife still trusts my master very much.

After Lao Wang's wife left, I walked into the room and looked at Lao Wang lying on the wooden bed and asked:

"Master, is this old king really like this now? As his wife said, it has something to do with his liking for drinking snake wine?"

The master put down the wooden box and then said:

"He has nothing to do with drinking snake wine today. The problem is not with the wine, but with the snake."

As he said that, the master turned on the lights in the room again. Lao Wang, who was originally lying on the bed, started to open his mouth, twist his waist, and bend his feet, which made people feel cold in his heart.

Turning off the light, Lao Wang slowly stopped.

So I continued to ask:

"Master, do you say that Lao Wang is like this now and it has something to do with snakes. What do snakes refer to those snakes that die in the wine jar?"

The master explained while pulling out a piece of adobe and realgar wine from the box:

"In those dozen wine jars, there was a snake that became a Tao. You can find it yourself later."

After the words came, the master poured all the realgar wine on the adobe, used realgar wine and mud, and without the help of a flaking machine, he pulled out a clay pot in just a few minutes with just two hands.

As soon as the clay pot was completed, the master immediately used white powder to shape it, finally grabbed a handful of dry soil and put it into the clay pot.

I stood by and watched, admiring my master more and more. I never thought that a potter could actually turn into porcelain with just two hands. How long would it take to practice hard to achieve the ultimate pottery making skills that have reached the pinnacle today?!

"Wang Cheng, take this and go to the side room to sprinkle a handful of soil on each wine jar. If the soil is stuck, the wine jar will be smashed immediately. Remember, no matter what happens, just don't make a sound." The master said and handed me a bag full of dry soil.

I agreed, took the bag and turned around and left the house, came to the yard, and walked towards the side room.

The reason why I agreed was very decisive was not because I was brave, but because I was afraid that Master Jiuyan would be disappointed in me, so I gritted my teeth and agreed.

Judging from my master's words, in the wine jar in this side room, there was a snake soaked to death, and then it would be too miserable if I ended up with Lao Wang when I went in.

No matter how scared you are, you still have to do what your master ordered.

When I walked to the door of the side room, I opened the bag full of dirt. Thinking of the black mark behind me, I didn’t have much time to live, so I just thought it was a broken jar. Thinking of this, I became bolder and made up my mind, pushed open the door and walked in.

When I touched the light rope in the side room, I pulled the light away, and the dim light illuminated the small side room.

Since I entered the side room, the tide and cold breath rushed towards me. I actually felt cold this summer, which was so strange.

Looking at the dozen or so jars of wine containing dead snakes under my feet not far away, I let out a breath, grabbed a handful of soil from the bag, and walked over and sprinkled it on the first jar.

Nothing special happened, the dry soil slid down the wine jar made of glass and did not get stuck.

I continued to grab a handful of dry soil and try the next wine jar.

As soon as the dry soil fell on the lid of the second wine jar, a sound of closing the door suddenly came from behind me. With a "creak~", the wooden door of the side room closed itself!

Seeing the wooden door closed, I hurriedly turned around and ran to open the door, but the door seemed to be locked from outside. No matter how hard I tried, the door still didn't move or moved at all.

"Hiss~" The sound of a snake spitting out a letter sounded in the side room. I hurriedly took out the scraper I had been carrying, held it tightly in my hand, and looked at the dozen or so jars of wine vigilantly.

My brain flew rapidly, and my master told me that if I didn’t make a sound when I encountered something, I would do it.

In fact, I still suspect that this dead snake that has become a Tao is afraid of the dry soil in my hands, so I closed the door and bluffed. Since it is afraid, I must not be afraid.

So I gritted my teeth and grabbed a handful of dry soil again, preparing to sprinkle it on the third wine jar, but the scene that made me creepy happened at this moment!
