Chapter 9 Sister Wu Mingshu

Hushan Town No. 1 Middle School is the only high school in the entire town and the twelve surrounding villages.

In the 1980s, the gates were not electric yet, and the teaching building plus student accommodation consisted of only three or four old buildings with mosaic tiles, plus two rows of bungalows.

It is surrounded by a rough white-painted stone wall.

When Wu Jiangshan arrived at the entrance of No. 1 Middle School, it was around three o'clock in the afternoon, and students were all in class in the building.

Wu Jiangshan is also a student of No. 1 Middle School, but this feeling of being reborn after so many years is so wonderful, it is a real estrangement.

Just as he was sighing, he saw an old man in his fifties and wearing a liberation cap coming out of the hut next to the gate and shouted to him: "What are you doing?"

"Hey, old man Xu, come to greet me?"

Wu Jiangshan squinted his eyes and smiled. The old man Xu looking at the door was still the same as in his memory, with his eyes glaring fiercely and carrying a rubber stick wherever he went.

When Old Xu heard this, he walked closer and looked at Wu Jiangshan carefully, then slapped his rubber stick and said, "I thought he was a second-rate guy?"

"Haha, don't worry, old man Xu, I will officially take up my post in a few months."

"What's the job?"

Old Xu Tou didn't understand, Wu Jiangshan laughed loudly: "I'm just going to be a second-rate guy."

"Tsk, tsk, you kid, you really don't learn well. If you want to go in, hurry up."

When Old Xu first saw it was Wu Jiangshan, he walked back with his hands behind his back. He was still a student of No. 1 Middle School, so he had to be allowed into the school.

Although this kid always calls him Lao Xutou, he is not annoying at all.

Wu Jiangshan happily agreed, trotting past Old Xu Tou and heading straight to the classroom building.

It’s my senior year of high school, and in the final sprint, everyone in the classroom is immersed in studying, and there’s not a single person walking around in the corridor.

Before Wu Jiangshan went to his class to find Zhang Denna, he thought that he had not really met his relatives at home before he was reborn.

I couldn't help but run to Class 1 first and peeked at Wu Mingshu who was studying through the crack in the door.

Wu Mingshu and Wu Jiangshan are twins. They look somewhat similar, both have thick eyebrows and single eyelids, but Wu Mingshu's eyebrows are much softer.

She was born just ten minutes earlier than Wu Jiangshan, but because she took on the title of sister, she dedicated her whole life to Wu Jiangshan.

Before her rebirth, Wu Mingshu was admitted to university but did not study because of Wu Jiangshan.

In order to pay off her family's debts, she married a man from a neighboring village who was in good condition. However, that man was a scumbag with a very chaotic lifestyle and was not good to her sister.

After Wu Jiangshan found out, he went to teach him a lesson several times, but he didn't get much advantage. Every time he left, Wu Mingshu's life at her husband's house became even more difficult.

I remember that Wu Mingshu in the past had white hair when she was only in her thirties. She looked as old as if she were forty or fifty years old and looked lifeless.

At this time, Wu Mingshu was full of youthful vitality. She was sitting in the middle of the classroom, wearing a white Doliang shirt and blue trousers. Her black hair was combed smoothly, with her forehead exposed and a braid tied at the back of her head.

.

Compared with Zhang Dana, she looked really tacky, but it made Wu Jiangshan's eyes wet.

"Mingshu, where are you guarding the door? Is this your brother?"

The girl behind Wu Mingshu discovered Wu Jiangshan and secretly poked Wu Mingshu from behind with the end of his pen, who was concentrating on reciting the questions.

When Wu Mingshu raised her head, she met Wu Jiangshan's eyes.

After being discovered, Wu Jiangshan woke up from his memories. He wanted to take a sneak peek, but he didn't want to be caught by his sister, so he hurriedly wiped his eyes and turned around to escape.

But Wu Mingshu had already run out first and grabbed his clothes from behind.

"Wu Jiangshan, you are really capable. You have been absent from class for several days without any reason. Your class teacher has asked me several times. You might as well wait until the college entrance examination is over before coming back."

Wu Jiangshan turned around and chuckled: "Sister."

Only then did Wu Mingshu realize that Wu Jiangshan's eyes were red. She was slightly startled, and then noticed that Wu Jiangshan was dirty, and she couldn't help but frown.

"Did you get into a fight again?"

This was the entrance to the classroom. Wu Mingshu didn't want to disturb others, so she grabbed Wu Jiangshan's clothes and dragged him to the corner of the stairs before letting go.

"Tell me, what trouble did you get into again? You didn't come to school or go home these days?"

Looking at the energetic Wu Mingshu in front of me, and comparing it with the face in my memory that had long given up any hope for life and was full of vicissitudes of life,

Wu Jiangshan felt sad for a while. He hurriedly raised his head, not wanting his sister to see anything strange about him: "There's no fight. Let's go back together in a few days."

Wu Mingshu sighed, this younger brother is always worried,

She never imagined that there was such a thing as rebirth. She just thought that Wu Jiangshan was causing trouble outside again.

But it’s rare to see him cry. Could it be that he’s in big trouble this time? Or is he at a disadvantage?

"What's wrong with you? Tell me. Can I promise not to criticize you?"

Although she was only born a little earlier than Wu Jiangshan, Wu Mingshu acted like a big sister from childhood to adulthood.

"Sister, I'm really fine. I was blinded by sand outside just now. It should have flowed out by now and it won't hurt anymore."

Wu Jiangshan rubbed his eyes and smiled.

"Don't rub it, your hands are not clean." Seeing that Wu Jiangshan was fine, Wu Mingshu believed his words and began to educate her brother habitually.

"Since you have decided not to take the exam, then don't come if you don't want to come. Don't wander around the town all day long. You might as well go home and help your parents with some work."

Wu Mingshu took out two cents from her pocket and gave it to Wu Jiangshan: "If you don't want to go to college, you have to think about what you want to do in the future? If you hang around like this all day long, are you no longer a street kid?"

Wu Jiangshan looked at the money in his hand and remembered that before his rebirth, he wanted to expand the scale of the food stall, but he didn't have enough money.

My sister found out about it from somewhere, and when she came to the town, she gave him tens of thousands of dollars and left without saying anything.

I don’t know how long my sister had been saving the money. When Wu Jiangshan thought that his sister should have had a bright future, but it was all because of his own mistakes that his future was ruined.

This made him feel even more guilty for his sister. He hugged Wu Mingshu, who was a head shorter than him, and held her in his arms.

"Sister, I'm sorry. I was ignorant before. I won't let you worry about it anymore. Just study hard and I will earn money for you to go to college."

Wu Mingshu was startled when she was suddenly hugged by her younger brother, and then she was even more stunned when she heard Wu Jiangshan's words.

Although they were twins born together, Wu Jiangshan was spoiled by his grandparents since he was a child and would not listen to anyone's discipline.

Let’s talk about the college entrance examination, right? You’re already in your senior year of high school. If you want to skip classes, you can skip classes. In other schools, you would have been given a meal of stick stew.

But his grandma spoiled him at home, so no one dared to hit him. Wu Jiangshan was raised so that he could do whatever he wanted, and there was no one he was afraid of.

And she herself couldn't help but want to control him and annoy him, so this was the first time that Wu Jiangshan took the initiative to be so close to her.

After all, she is already an 18-year-old girl, no longer a child. Even such a hug from her biological brother makes Wu Mingshu very embarrassed and uncomfortable.

She pushed Wu Jiangshan away, feeling like Wu Jiangshan suddenly became more sensible after not seeing him for a few days.

After taking a closer look at Wu Jiangshan, she saw that it was still a familiar face. Wu Mingshu stopped herself from suspecting that her brother had gotten into trouble again, so he became honest. In her heart, she also hoped that Wu Jiangshan could learn well.
