Chapter 968 The Dark Book

"Who are you?" Elias Morrow widened his eyes. A few minutes ago he didn't even notice such a woman standing next to his nephew. A premonition of trouble swept across his body. Elias wanted to hang up the phone and return to his cell immediately. He gestured to Robbie Reyes to explain what was going on.

"I am the one who solves the problem, Mr. Elias Morrow. Let me tell you what's going on." Wanda sat in Robbie Reyes' original position. "That machine does seem to break the laws of physics, but there is nothing in the world that can be made out of nothing. Equivalent exchange is the most basic concept. So that machine uses things outside of our reality to create matter for materials, and every time the machine runs, it has to pay. Dr. Lucy Ball, Joseph and other researchers are paying for it..."

"They are all dead." Elias Morrow glanced at his nephew and nodded at Wanda. Although he didn't know who the woman was in front of him, Robbie trusted him and Elias was unwilling to talk too much. "I had an accident before, and the police said it was an accident, but Joseph forced them to continue researching. They thought they were playing God, approaching the limits of the real world. The entire team was dead, and his wife, they should listen to me. The police said it was an accident, but I knew Joseph killed them. I was so angry that I was out of control... Girl, although I don't understand what you mean, Lucy Ball is dead and she can't kill anyone."

"Why didn't you tell me about this?" Robbie Reyes asked.

Elias Morrow was very serious. Joseph was still lying in the hospital and was unconscious all year round, so he was sentenced to the court for attempted murder. Elias Morrow took the microphone in surprise and looked at it, and then found that Robbie pointed to his ear, an unobtrusive flesh-colored earphone was hanging on his ear. Wanda made a gesture, and the prison guard who was originally staring at the prisoner turned around to face the wall. "Because you were still a child at that time." The cloud of guilt enveloped Elias Morrow's face, "I should have taken care of you and Gabu, I disappointed you, but this is my inner demon and has nothing to do with you. I'm sorry, Robbie, it was me who caused Gabu..."

"Lucy Ball is indeed dead, Elias Morrow." Wanda interrupted Elias Morrow's self-pity in time, "but she owes debt, so she is back. You are the only one who knows Lucy Ball is still alive. Think about it carefully, where will she go, what will she want to do?"

"She will go find that book." Elias Morrow took a deep breath and pulled himself out of his complex emotions. He had to give a warning, warning his nephew and the woman in front of him who didn't know where to come. "I don't know what book it was, but it is said that the knowledge in that book made them design the machine, and that book has everything that anyone needs."

"Have everyone in the entire team read that book?" Wanda suddenly became nervous.

"Yes, they are quite obsessed with that book." Elias Morrow raised his head and looked at Robbie and Wanda. "That book is evil. If possible, I don't want you to get involved in this matter. All those who have read that book are dead. Robbie, I don't want you to end up with this. And you, girl, this matter is not something that humans can solve. Only God can intervene can expel those evils."

"The Book of Darkness, I feel that the last time I heard this word was a hundred years ago," Nick Fury said, "It's not actually a hundred years ago. It's just an exaggeration. I helped your monarch to trace the whereabouts of this book, but I still found nothing. It is said that this book is even more evil than the book Agent Colson once received. We have to find this book, Constantine."

"It's me, not us," Constantine said. "You can only sit in the office."

"This is also a kind of cooperation." Nick Fury responded happily, "Joseph Ball, the key figure in Elias Morrow's mouth, must know the location of the "Book of the Darkness."

"Joseph Ball is a vegetable." Constantine waved and instructed the First Secret Group of Fenbur Winter gathered on the roof to control Dr. Holden Radcliff's residence according to the instructions. Jenma Simmons and Dr. Radcliff successfully solved the hallucinations that Melinda May had constantly developed after "evil possession" - that is, restarting his brain and adjusting endocrine - after that, Fitz stayed at Dr. Holden Radcliff's residence and continued to check on Melinda May. Mike reached a Kun-type fighter plane with Jenma Simmons and Agent Colson and left here. Judging from Jenma Simmons' expression, she seemed to find something wrong with Dr. Holden Radcliff's assistant Ada, while Fitz tried hard to hide it. Constantine watched the comedy performance throughout the whole process.

"He has been in a coma for many years. Over the years, his brain will continue to deteriorate and finally become as smooth as the fetus. Even if I take out his brain, I can't get any useful information." Constantine said. "I have studied a lot of cases of vegetatives, and I know what's going on."

"That's right, but Joseph Ball woke up a few hours ago." Nick Fury said in the tone of being the director of S.H.I.E.D., "He is energetic now, and he's thrust like a fish that has just come out of the water!"

"We have to hurry up, Joseph must know something." Wanda did not get into the Dodge when he walked out of prison. After Robbie Reyes was in the driver's seat, she stood in front of the car window, "But I don't want you to show up, Robbie, I hope you can do something else like Daisy. You can stay here and wait for the agents of the Immortal City to take your uncle away and give him a new identity. I suggest you stay here with him and feel the joy of being out of prison."

"This matter is related to Uncle Moro's innocence, Maximov, I don't want him to bear the crime in this way." Robbie Reyes raised his head. Even though he lives in a slum, his attitude towards life is very serious. He abides by the law and does not get involved in contraband. He hopes to get his younger brother Gabu out of this mud pond through hard work. "Let's go together, find that book, and then completely solve this matter."

"Do you want to show up in the hospital you burned?" Wanda shook her head, "I'll call Daisy first, hoping that she will go well and can hack into S.H.E.L.D.'

"I have something to tell you, Agent Colson, we need to talk separately." As soon as Mike got off the plane, he applied for a conversation with Agent Colson, looking worried. In fact, Mike didn't know whether he should tell Agent Colson about this. After all, the current director of S.H.E.L.D. requires every employee to undergo lie detection regularly. S.H.E.L.D.'s lie detection technology is quite excellent, and even Black Widow may not be able to pass, but he must not hide this from Coulson. Agent Colson immediately realized that what Mike wanted to say had something to do with the previous mission, but he still nodded and found a blind spot for surveillance.

After making sure no one was watching, Mike told Agent Colson about what happened to the institute before.

"Did you see Daisy? Where is she?" Agent Colson raised his eyebrows in surprise. He thought he would never see Daisy Johnson again in his life. Now, hearing the news of the girl he regarded as his daughter, joy briefly overshadowed his sense of responsibility. "Why don't you bring her back?"
