Chapter 1628 The whole process of the event

Unlike many movies, "The Furnace" is a movie adapted from real events. It is based on the x-invasion of a girl who happened to a disabled school in Gwangju between 2000 and 2004.

Since it is an adaptation, of course there will be some changes. After a certain amount of artistic processing, what is the process of real events?

Regarding real events, there were some rumors on the Internet in the previous life, which seemed very dark and exaggerated, which made Jin Jingcheng sigh that some fabricators' imaginations are even better than those of Kong Zhiyong, the writer of "The Furnace". It's a pity for such people to not write novels but spread rumors.

However, based on some of Kim Jingcheng's knowledge of this matter in his previous life and his latest investigation in this life, although the real incident is not as dark and exaggerated as the rumors in the previous life, it is indeed cruel and depressing.

...

There is a private disability school in Gwangju, South Korea. From 2000 to 2004, more than a dozen people from the school attacked disabled girls for a long time, and the age range of the victim girls was 7-20 years old.

The incident was not exposed until June 2005 because a school teacher couldn't help but expose the matter.

The scandal aroused anger from local rights protection groups, and formed a committee to speak out for the victims and launched judicial procedures.

The judicial investigation said that 6 people committed crimes and 12 deaf and mute girls were attacked (there are tricks in this investigation).

As a result, only four people were tried. Among them, the principal and the general affairs director were sentenced to five years and 10 months in the first instance, and two teachers were sentenced to two years in 2 years. However, the second instance was a major reversal. The principal and the general affairs director were sentenced to probation because they had no criminal record and reached an agreement with the victim's family (using public funds).

Since then, local rights protection groups have insisted on fighting for many years, but their results are limited.

In 2008, female writer Kong Zhiyong saw the online news about this incident and was touched by "the disabled person cried at the moment when the court ruled". After checking it, she learned the truth of the incident and was shocked. She immediately went to Gwangju to spend several days with the victim students. After a deep understanding of the child's damaged heart, the incident was adapted into the novel "The Furnace".

From the end of 2008 to mid-2009, the novel "The Furnace" was serialized on the Internet with a click rate of more than 16 million people.

In 2009, the novel "The Furnace" was published and sold.

Bo Le, who led the novel's movieization, is Gong Yoo, the male star in "The Furnace". The novel "The Furnace" was selling well when Gong Yoo served in the army.

In August 2009, when Gong Liu was promoted to commander in the army, he received a gift from his superiors. After reading this novel, Gong Liu was deeply shocked and moved by the events described in the book. He also called the agency in the army and asked the agency to ask someone to ask the author Kong Zhiyong for advice, hoping to bring the novel to the screen.

In August 2010, Kong Liu was discharged from the army and did his best to do his best to attract investment to plan. Finally, his efforts paid off.

In 2011, the movie "The Furnace" was filmed, and Kong Yoo himself recommended himself to challenge the male lead art teacher Kang In-ho.

From February 8 to May 8, 2011, these three months are the shooting dates of "The Furnace".

In September 2011, "The Furnace" was released, which immediately caused a strong reaction. A million-person signature campaign was launched online in South Korea, pushing the closed x-infringement case to the surface.

In September 2011, on the sixth day of the release of "The Furnace", under tremendous social pressure, the Guangzhou police formed a special task force to re-invest the case and found that the current criminal responsibility for the prevention and control of girls in x-infringement was too light. Those with disabilities were sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of more than seven years, and those with x-infringement of girls were sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of more than ten years, and the public prosecution period was seven years. The criminal at that time had passed the prosecution period, and the principal at that time passed the prosecution period.

As a result, the majority of Korean netizens demanded that the sentencing standards and the abolition of prosecution period of x-infringement cases be raised. Many Koreans began to sit quietly and protest online. Under the pressure of public opinion, South Korean senior officials also paid attention to it.

Later, after detailed investigation, there were 14 people suspected of x-aggression girls, and the number of disabled girls who were x-aggression increased from 12 to more than 30.

In the end, the criminal was punished, and the principal who was the most guilty died of illness, and the South Korean government took joint and several liability to compensate the victims.

Since October 2011, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of South Korea has conducted joint inspections on all boarding special education schools and general special education schools across the country, and established a "permanent supervision team" to prevent x-infringement on students with disabilities. At the same time, it will investigate the x-infringement experience of x-infringement of students with disabilities. Educational agencies at all levels in South Korea investigate the current x-infringement of students with disabilities, and strengthen x-infringement to prevent similar incidents from occurring again. Gyeonggi-do, Gwangju, Seoul and other places in South Korea have successively issued the "Student Human Rights Protection Ordinance" to prohibit indirect corporal punishment and gender discrimination.

In October 2011, on the 37th day of the release of "The Furnace", the South Korean parliament passed the "X-Violence Special Law" with 207 votes and 1 abstention overwhelmingly passed the "X-Violence Special Law", also known as the "Melting Furnace Law", and the new law was implemented in July 2012.

The "X-Violence Special Law Amendment Case" has several key points: the public prosecution period is abolished; x-violent crimes for persons with disabilities and children under the age of 13 are not subject to statute of limitations, and the most serious sentence can be imposed on life imprisonment; for persons with disabilities x-violent crimes, the constituent elements of "not resisting" are deleted; for persons engaged in the protection of persons with disabilities and public welfare, those who commit x-violent crimes for persons with disabilities, one-half of the sentence shall be augmented on the basis of sentencing standards to severely punish.

The "melting pot" incident made the Korean people express disappointment, anger and suspicion about the trial of judges x violent crimes. The 61 judges in the South Korean court system responsible for the trial of x violent cases held a special seminar on "Sentences of x crimes and Protection of Witnesses of victims" on November 14, 2011, saying that they will make a judgment worthy of public dependence on in response to the doubts.

On December 19, 2011, the Sentencing Committee of the South Korean Grand Court held a plenary meeting and established a new "violent crime against persons with disabilities" among the x crime types. Compared with the x crimes committed by people with non-disabilities, the sentencing standard has been increased from three years to five years, and the new sentencing standard was officially implemented on March 16, 2012.

On December 29, 2011, the South Korean Congress passed the Amendment of the Social Welfare Career Law to ensure that the operation of social welfare institutions is open and transparent and incorporated into external supervision forces. The Amendment of the Social Welfare Career stipulates that for criminal acts that violate the provisions of the "X-Violence Special Law" and the "Children and Adolescents x Protection Law", they are not allowed to engage in related business within ten years. If similar crimes are committed against personnel who use social welfare facilities during their employment, they will always be prohibited from engaging in business management business of social welfare undertakings. The Amendment of the "Social Welfare Career Law" also stipulates that business management personnel stop performing their duties, strengthen the guidance and supervision of the state and self-legal groups, and improve the public welfare and transparency of social welfare management institutions.

In order to prevent the recurrence of the "melting pot" incident, the South Korean government has also actively promoted the parliament to pass the "Education Civil Servants Law Amendment", which stipulates that teachers who commit x crimes will be fined more than 1 million won and cleared.

In 2012, one month after the "Furrow" was removed from the release, the private disability school in Gwangju was cancelled, the school was closed, and the Gwangju government took over, and the legal property of 5.7 billion yuan was paid back to the disabled welfare fund and a national special school was established.
