Chapter 001 Full Moon
In late autumn, at noon, the autumn rain is misty, like the wind and fog.
In the rain, the Fengjiang River flows eastward endlessly. The river water is clear and there are many red maples on the upper riverside, so it is called Fengjiang River.
When you reach the middle reaches, a continuous mountain range appeared on the edge of Fengjiang River. This mountain range looks like a blue dragon from afar, hovering and wandering on the earth.
This mountain is Qianlong Mountain.
There are three statements about the name of this mountain. One is that the mountain is like a dragon, so it is named. Most people agree with this intuitive statement.
2. This mountain is transformed by a divine dragon, so it is named. Of course, this statement is more like a myth.
3. A long time ago, there was a Taoist cultivation family on this mountain, the Long Family. Later, the dragon-shaped spiritual veins in the mountain disappeared for some reason, and the Long Family also disappeared. Therefore, this mountain is called Qianlong Mountain.
Regarding this, it is also very likely that at least some dilapidated architectural relics deep in Qianlong Mountain can prove that the Long Family, a Taoist family, once existed.
The mountain is extremely high, surrounded by clouds and mist, which makes it even more mysterious and ethereal in the autumn rain. In the cold autumn, there is a small village at the foot of the mountain, and there is a bustling and noisy and joyful atmosphere.
This village is called Longjia Village. There are about a hundred families, most of which rely on hunting and land reclamation to make a living.
There are many beasts in the mountains. Even masters in the realm of transforming Qi should be cautious when walking in the mountains. Ordinary villages cannot survive at the foot of this mountain.
The women in Longjia Village are beautiful, and most of the men are strong and live in a village. They have their own defensive skills, so they are not destroyed by beasts or other villages.
When talking about their bodies to outsiders, most villagers will show pride. The Longquan Well at the entrance of the village and their ancestors are all the reasons why they are unique.
Longquan Well is actually just an ancient well, but because there is a small tiny spiritual vein at the bottom of the well that is less than nine grades, the well water is clear and sweet, and it is burned into tea without any tea stains. Whether it is brewing wine, making tea, or using it to quench and create weapons, it is best.
Whenever the weather is sunny, outsiders even travel hundreds of miles to get water.
Occasionally, I just think the water quality is good and I don’t feel anything else. However, the people in the village have been drinking this water for many years, or have been drinking this water for generations. They have absorbed some of the weak aura in the water. The young man is naturally strong and the young woman is naturally beautiful.
Most of the villagers in the village don’t understand. They only know that the water is good, but they don’t know that there is a small piece of weak spiritual vein at the bottom of the well. After all, they are not monks.
They all prefer to think that their uniqueness is mostly due to the excellent bloodline of their ancestors. Although there is no monk in the village, they know about some monks, and they are not like other mountain villages, where the villagers do not know that there are monks.
Because their surname is Long, it is said that their ancestors were the children of the Long family of the Taoist cultivation family. In fact, after countless years, their bloodlines of the Taoist practitioners have long been so weak that they can be ignored!
...
On a clearing land at the east end of the village, there was a large grass shed covered with vines. There were many traces of firecrackers on the wet ground. Many children were pedaling on the ground to look for firecrackers that did not explode.
These remaining single firecrackers are the best toys in their eyes. They only have the chance to pick them up during festivals or during happy events.
Today is the day when a child in the village is full moon!
The adults sat on long benches beside large wooden tables under the grass sheds chatting and eating. The large wooden tables are square, and each side is about one meter long. One table can sit down more than ten people in a generous manner.
Perhaps because of the simple workmanship and the large number of trees in the mountains, there are more than twenty wooden tables. The villagers of the whole village gathered here, and they were enough.
There was a stove in the leeward of the shed, with a large black and shiny pot, a big fish and meat burning with grease and emitting an attractive fragrance. Several temporary chefs were sweating profusely, and several 15 or 16-year-old marie men were carrying various dishes between the wooden tables, flexibly and quickly.
"Long San, your child is really not simple. Your wife gave birth to a big fat son and set up a full twenty-four banquets, and invited everyone in the village to come over, with the style of your second uncle back then. Hahaha..."
The first table was on the table, the first one was a gray-haired, strong body and strong muscles. He was holding a large porcelain bowl of wine and laughing loudly.
"What else is the child? The mistress is the father of the child, and he will become an adult in the future. He will never be a child who knows nothing anymore." An old woman next to him cursed with a smile.
Another fierce young man dressed in a hunter, he couldn't help scratching his head when he heard this and smiled shyly. This young man was the Long San in the mouths of the two old men. His temples were slightly raised, and he was actually a master who had reached the realm of Qi transformation!
"Three, have you figured it out? Is this kid named it just by a cat or a dog, or is it going to the Dongbian town to find the most knowledgeable gentleman and ask for a name?" A slightly older hunter on Long Sanbian said loudly.
"Second brother, look at what you said. No matter how much I say, your third brother is also a master of the Qi Transformation Realm. Naturally, my son will not be bad in the future. Maybe he can become a cultivator like an ancestor. Of course, he can't just name it like a cat or a dog. Haha." Long San said with a hearty laugh.
Everyone laughed and agreed when they heard this.
"Second Grandpa, Second Grandpa, an immortal master came from the mountain." At this moment, outside the shed, a teenage child ran over panting.
Mortals also call practitioners the immortal masters.
"Immortal Master? Hu Zi, are you reading it wrong?" The strong old man who had previously spoken and called himself the Second Uncle, stood up and said.
"That's right. That immortal master was flying slowly from the mountain on a big golden bird. Just like the ancestors of the cultivator you often talk to us, it must be an immortal master." Hu Zi gasped for two or three times, and finally calmed down a lot. His eyes were filled with curiosity and excitement, and he pointed his little finger at the top of the mountain.
"It seems that you are definitely a cultivator who can ride a bird and fly. Even if it is not, you are still an alien who knows how to control beasts." Long San nodded slightly and said.
"Why is it as the storyteller in the town said, my nephew is destined to be a mortal, so just after the full moon, an immortal master came to accept disciples? Haha." Long San's second brother was slightly stunned and laughed.
"This matter is probably not that simple. Don't eat or chat, and go out with me to welcome the immortal master. If the immortal master comes to our Longquan Village, we must not be negligent. In the eyes of the immortal master, we are all like ants. Any immortal master who comes to take disciples is made up by storytellers." Long San's second uncle said with serious eyes.
Although he is only at the peak of spiritual refining, he has rich experience and naturally has great knowledge.
As he spoke, he had already left his seat, took a big step, and walked out first. When the villagers saw it, they all stood up and followed them out in a hurry.
They were both curious and confused about the arrival of the monks, but they were more awe. Therefore, after "Dragon San's Second Uncle" finished speaking, even the children who were playing stood silently behind the adults.
The villagers walked outside the shed and looked up at the mountain. Sure enough, in the hazy autumn rain, there was a figure sitting idle on it.
