254 Fudge: Come out!

"Walls are not good protection for a wizard."

"If there are not enough defensive spells attached to it, such a wall can be easily demolished with a single spell, so we must strengthen the walls that are most likely to be ignored."

"The same goes for the roof. To be honest, if you want to invade a house silently, the roof is the best choice, especially if ventilation ducts are built in some places, it will be the hardest hit area for invasion."

"But this room doesn't have it, so there's no need to think about it for the time being."

"There are also windows. This is also the hardest hit area. Although there is no famous way for wizards to master flying, you can easily climb to the windowsill with some tricks."

Harry carefully recorded the words spoken by William, but his mouth opened wider and wider.

According to Professor William, this house is full of loopholes and there is no way for people to live in it.

"But we don't need to be so careful about these protections. Those are to protect against ordinary wizards." William did not feel at all that he had popularized knowledge that was useless for a long time. "The current situation is that we need to establish strong enough magical protection to prevent

In case, the larger the casting area, the stronger the concentrated protection will be. This sentence is valid in most cases."

Harry was confused by this call and always felt there was something strange.

As William stacked protective spells one after another, and from time to time took out bottles of potions from his bag and sprinkled them on the wall, this strange feeling became more intense.

"What potions are those, Professor?"

"Well, some magic potions for strengthening houses cannot be drunk. Some wizards will use them when setting up laboratories. They are not very expensive, but the validity period is relatively short, which makes them not cost-effective and few people use them."

William answered while considering whether to lock the windows or preserve the passage for the owl to enter and exit, "I told Old Tom that the house can be modified at will."

"The wall over there is not reinforced," he pointed to the wall on the right, "I moved to another room. If I encounter danger, I should be able to come over immediately."

Although the professor's words were serious, Harry's legs still felt a little cold.

However, he finally realized something was wrong.

"Professor...Sirius Black came out, did he come for me?"

Thirteen-year-old children are not that stupid after all...

But there was nothing William could do. His opponent was too cruel. Although the Ministry of Magic wanted to suppress it so as not to cause chaos, William felt that it was better to let the person involved know the seriousness of this matter.

"If there is no problem, it should be like this," William nodded. "Although it should be hidden from children your age, I don't dare to let you live in this room without strengthening it."

After confirming that he was almost done with what he was saying, he simply sat down and looked at Harry before speaking.

"The escaped Sirius was regarded as a legend even in Azkaban. Before he was imprisoned, he destroyed a street with a spell and killed thirteen people."

"This may not be an appropriate description. In other words, as for Old Tom's tavern, even if it has some defensive spells, it will still be razed to the ground in the face of such spells."

Harry was stunned for a moment, but in the end he still couldn't imagine how powerful such a spell was.

Finally, he had to ask a question that he thought was a bit stupid, "Professor, can you use such a spell?"

"No, most of the magic I master is not that offensive," William replied solemnly after thinking about it - even including the Unforgivable Curse sent by Dumbledore, he did not have such powerful magic, "Can release that kind of magic?"

Magic wizards are all first-class dark wizards."

"Okay, I understand, Professor, I won't just go out and play around."

Harry's expression was quite solemn.

"There's no need to worry so much. Diagon Alley is full of thugs now," William comforted him, "and the Aurors are firmly protecting you. As long as you don't try to deviate to a remote alley, study and entertainment

It’s not a big problem.”

But William's comfort seemed to be of no use.

In the next few days, Harry basically stayed well in his room, and only went downstairs for a few steps when eating and drinking. Normally, he would never leave the room without permission.

When he had a problem, he would come to William's room to ask for advice, but then he would go back to the room obediently and not move at all.

On the fifth day of this kind of day, Fudge came to the door in person.

"Professor William, what did you do to Harry?"

Fudge looked a little uncomfortable, but he still remained polite when asking.

"Teaching a few spells... and then answering the questions in the book that he didn't understand? Nothing else."

William thought hard and made sure he didn't tell a joke about the Fudge government's four-part response to Sirius's escape from prison.

He was so busy these days that he didn't even go out for a drink, so it was even more impossible to brag about it.

"Then why didn't he leave the house? The Aurors responsible for protecting him all suspected that the person they were protecting was autistic - even among the people, there were rumors that a group of us did nothing and put Harry Potter under house arrest just to avoid any trouble.

Already."

These are all magical rumors...

"Then, how about letting the Aurors protect him and walk around Diagon Alley every day?" William had no choice but to think of a remedy. "After all, it is really not appropriate to carry a child of his age at home all the time."

"That's all, Professor."

Fudge looked helpless, "I will have a good talk with him. I hope he doesn't mind the Aurors following him..."

"That kid is so sensible sometimes that it's heartbreaking," William shook his head. "I really don't know what he went through in those years. He doesn't go out just to avoid causing trouble to others..."

"I'd rather he go out. He'll be in more trouble if he stays in the house." Fudge showed a wry smile and knocked on the door next door while saying goodbye.

Public opinion in the magical world...

William sighed, ignored the conversation next door, and began to study the newspaper he just bought.

He was still a little suspicious now. Sirius' escape was too coincidental. He wanted to take a closer look at the newspaper.

"Is this the winning photo?"

He stared at the Weasley family photo that took up half of the newspaper's page and felt a little sick to his stomach.

The red hair in the newspaper reminded him of a lot of things that happened in the last school year.

Just like Fudge said, the relationship between Ron Weasley and Harry Potter was clearly pointed out in the newspaper.

'Did the Daily Prophet find the code to wealth?'

Basically, everything that doesn't fit together is written out deliberately. This is the official official newspaper of the wizarding world...

"Without any reference value..."

He lay back and stuffed the newspaper into the special bag originally used to hold test papers.
